Chapter 68

Noelle straightened her back and lifted her head to kiss Hendrix on the lips.

However, Hendrix quickly turned his head and evaded her attempt.

Her body stiffened for a brief moment before she lowered her head and extended her tongue to trace it lightly over the sharp line of his Adam's apple without hesitation.

Hendrix's body tensed instantly. He then grasped her chin and forced her to look up at him.

Her eyes were already reddened, and her loose hair framed her face in damp strands. She looked like a helpless kitten caught in a stormy night.

Hendrix frowned slightly.

However, Noelle paid no heed to his reaction and extended her hands to tug at his belt without hesitation. He had intended to stop her before her phone rang. He glanced at it and caught Maxwell's name displayed on the

screen.

The familiar sound of the ringtone seemed to jolt her back to her senses. Her body stiffened slightly before Noelle turned to reach for the hand gripping her chin.

Yet, Hendrix's warm hand cupped the back of her head the next moment before his lips captured hers without hesitation.

Her lips burned with the fevered heat coursing through her, but his kiss eased the unbearable heat. She immediately forgot about the phone call and wrapped her hands around his neck as she responded to him fervently.

The car partition rose, enclosing them in a tighter and more intimate space as the temperature skyrocketed. Noelle had lost track of where she was now. All sounds faded except for the exchange of their breaths and the pounding of her heart echoing in her ears.

However, the effects of the pill persisted. She quickly grew unsatisfied with mere kisses. She grabbed Hendrix's hand and guided it to her body, trying to cool herself down with the chills of his fingertips.

Hendrix didn't pull away. He knew exactly what Noelle liked after two years of marriage.

Yet, he didn't do as she wished.

Her breathing grew heavier. Her trembling fingers raked over his neck and forearm, but he remained unmoved no matter how hard she tried.

"Hendrix..." Noelle couldn't help but break into sobs.

Her vulnerability reminded him of how they used to be in the past, or even better.

However, Hendrix remained calm as he looked at her. Although his temperature had risen in response to hers, his composure was terrifyingly unshaken. It was as if he were detached observer, coldly watching her desperation and disarray.

Noelle grabbed his hand tightly as tears streamed down her cheeks. "Hendrix, please... help me..." He remained unfazed.

She had no choice but to climb onto his lap, straddling him as she pressed a kiss to his lips with a hint of pleading. "Hendrix, baby..."

His expression finally shifted at her last word.

"Noelle, who am I?" Hendrix extended his hand to pull off his tie before gripping her waist as he spoke. "Hm?"

"Hendrix..."

"No."noveldrama

"Baby." Her tone shifted as she spoke.

Hendrix kissed her again the moment the word left her lips

Their lips and tongues intertwined with a fierce and domindering intensity.

Hendrix finally stopped holding back.

Noelle couldn't help but let out a soft moan as she tightened her arms around his neck.

The sensation was like running half a mile on the hottest summer day, leaving her breathless and parched. Her throat was burning as if on fire until someone handed her a bottle of ice-cold soda.

The chill liquid slid down her throat, soothing every ounce of the heat raging inside her while bringing a pure and overwhelming sense of bliss.
