HELLOOOOO ALLL!!! Boy is is good to be back! I know you have all probably forgotten about me by now and assumed I became one of the many "dead" authors out there, but no need to worry! I have a legitimate excuse!
Remember in my previous chapter when I mentioned my computer was freezing up and acting weird? yea, turns out that was bad. My computer's graphics card was in the process of dying. I was devestated! had to plan a funeral and everything and spent some months in mourning crying buckets of salty nerd tears... nah, just kidding. yea, my card got fried but I couldn't do anything about it at the time because my lovely wonderful sister was having a beautiful wedding and I was the priviliged ones to stand up there at the altar with her. As a brother, I am proud of her, but as a brother I must maintain an air of "don't make my sister cry or I'll make you regret it!". hard to do, I know, but it comes as a natural instinct in most cases. Apparently I made the best damn toast in history. I surprised myself really. I was sitting there watching my sister during the dinner and I kept thinking 'I can't let her go without saying something.' So I got up and got everyone's attention. I'll tell you guys, I literally had NOTHING up to that moment. I am seriously bad with crowds and was scared shitless, but the weirdest thing happened when they put the mic in my hand. I steeled my resolve and powered through it. I made probably 80% of the crowd break out into tears and the other 20% were struggling pretty hard not to follow the majority. Afterwards, I nearly vomited and passed out from fear, but I managed to stay calm and was only shaking a lot for the next hour.

ANYWAYS, it was a hell of a wedding and all but that was a few months ago. after that, I was so swamped with work I had no time to bring my computer somewhere to get fixed. That was the case until memorial weekend. I actually got off work for the weekend even getting off early on friday. The First, then I did as soon as I got back home was go into my room... and go to sleep... yes. sleep! It's hard doin what I do! well no, not really. but still working 10 hours every day isn't easy. It's still nice work though. I would hate being cooped up in an office. I got to much energy for that. However! once I have accomplised my goal of sleeping for 4 hours, eating dinner, then sleeping 7 more hours, then laying in bed for another 2 hours, I immediately got out of bed... and ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. yes. I have my priorities straight. Okay okay, after the sandwich I eventually gathered my formidable willpower into the singular focus of taking my computer across town to the computer shop where I spent 4 days and $500-ish dollars on a new graphics card. So... yay? on the bright side, I needed to upgrade it anyways but I was to lazy to do it.
On another side note, I missed having a computer Sad [https://forum.royalroadl.com/images/smilies/sad.png] because I can't play games without one. As soon as I plugged it in today, I started reading up on my story though so I can at least get ONE chapter out for you guys. It's so torturous to have a steam library filled with dozens of games and I'm sitting here staring at a wall of text. Mind you, the wall of text is really entertaining, but it's been months since I last played something like team fortress 2 or Overwatch. :'( pray for me readers! I need to stay strong!
