Tyr awoke the next morning and saw that the hall had its tables cleared to allow a ring to be made in the center of it, with the giantess from before giving a tray of food to to eat in his "room".
So their going to have the wrestling matches in the great hall, makes sense. But the question is what is Utgard-Loki planning after the first one? There's no doubt I will lose to Old Age but that doesn't mean I'll lose the other matches. Could he perhaps be planning to use illusions and have me fight against Old Age every match? Or maybe...
Tyr's thoughts came to abrupt halt when he saw a new giantess approach him. She was younger than the other giantess, but still looked older than Tyr himself. Her hair was slightly wild and was a pale color akin to sea foam, but what Tyr found himself drawn to was her eye that somehow shimmered between light blue and green, filled with the same affection he had seen in Frigg's eyes.
Is this...
"Are you sure Utgard-Loki can keep him from seeing me?"
"Our lord's illusions are greater than Odin's himself. Tyr will not see you or hear you, neither will your husband should he walk past here. Just be grateful that you get to see him at all Hrodr. And don't touch him."

Tyr struggled not to shoot the giantess a dirty look for the she spat out the name but he was distracted by Hrodr sitting down next to him. He then did his best to eat while she spoke softly to him.
"You grown a little thinner than I remember, you should see about getting enough to eat. Oh I don't know if you have forgotten or not, but those cherry trees you planted before you left? they grown and spread so now their almost a small orchard. Your fa... I mean Hymir has managed to get some more cows after you and Thor's previous visit, and has been talking with a brewer to see he can make alcohol from the cherries for a little extra coin and maybe a barrel. I think he doesn't want to admit that he still struggles with you joining the Aesir. I know you two were never very close, him working the fields while you ran into the forests gathering berries and later hunting, but deep down, I like to believe there is still some part that thinks of you as kin. Course I suppose I can't blame either of you for your choices... I wonder what would have happened if you had been full Jotun."
"Lady Hrodr, it's time that you and Hymir take your leave."
Hrodr stood up and began to walk out, but before she left, she kissed Tyr upon his head. Tyr, remembering that the illusion Utgard-Loki cast was only supposed to prevent him from seeing or hearing her, touched where she had kissed, and trying his best not to let on he knew Hrodr was there by looking around the room in confusion.
Perhaps, when this is all over, I should see about visiting my Jotunar family.
"Lord Tyr, the hall is ready for you. Please come."
