"I suppose I will leave that to you, my dear Aesir, as I am more in the habit of offering my challengers the chance to show their greatest feats."
Tyr stood and thought for a moment before giving an answer: " I was once said to be a great swordsman, but I'm probably rusty by now, so perhaps we should try something else. Since it is said that one of my possible mothers was the embodiment of the raging sea, perhaps a diving contest?"
Utgard-Loki leaned down to Tyr and looked at his face for a moment before nodding.
"It is a little surprising that you didn't decide to go with your strongest trait first."
"Think of it has giving you more time to prepare how to ridicule me."
"Why you cheeky..." started one of the Jotunn before Utgrad-Loki silenced him while cracking a smile at Tyr.
"A diving contest at our children's training pool, first to reach the bottom and back wins."
"Agreed." said Tyr, extending his hand to shake, though Utgard-Loki just rose and gestured for all to follow.

Tyr followed as best he could, but he found that the Jotunn surrounded him and shoved him every which way, with those who couldn't lay hold of him merely jeering from the back. Upon walking for about half an hour, they reached a body of water that resembled more of an ocean than a pool, with a cliff area. Utgard-Loki lead them up the cliff's path to the top, then performed a gesture in front of Tyr that Tyr took to be the summoning of an illusion as Utgard-Loki then softly spoke to those closest to him.
"Go make a puddle in the middle of the cliff's edge, and then have Tyr stand next to it for him to dive in."
"Sire, you have already brought us to the training grounds for our scouts to practice their shapeshifting, would it not be easier just to have our giant use the puddle?"
"I don't think so, Tyr is no doubt expecting treachery, but an Aesir will always thinks that when we trick them it is by making them do all the work and we do nothing. As honest and straightforward as Tyr has been, it will hurt him more to find he did nothing in a match while others did something."
Not too bad an idea, though his opinion is a bit circumstantial.
Tyr gave no indication he witnessed this exchange, and simply moved into the position that he was shown.
Okay... Odin said illusions have no effect on me even when they can be tangible, which is probably what Utgard-Loki is planning to use. So how can I hide I am not effected while they do what they are planning to try.
Tyr mulled this over in his head while one of the Jotunn was being chosen for the dive when he suddenly smiled.
Got it.
"Alright you two get ready, and... BEGIN!!!!"
