Chapter 9: The Uncertainty

An egg-like object was floating in the space alone and aloof in this desolate area of the space however when someone looks closely into it will come to know that the very egg like cosmic substance was actually made up of metal and was actually a spaceship.

In the space ship since the Interdimensional Warrior team was successful in escaping from the artificial Asteroid Belt setup by the Asuras and entered the Desolate zone so they were naturally very vigilant now that they were in an alien territory and did not know much about the dangers of this area since very less almost negligible amount of research has happened about this place by the humans.

Though the humans had a few camps setup in this desolate area however that was very less in number as they had to hide their existence from the evil beings in this Dark Dimension so this team who had set their foots for the first time in the Dark Dimension did not know about the exact location of the human camps since the location of the human camps were not revealed to them due to the policy of the Interdimensional Warrior Association.

This policy was introduced by the association only for the safekeeping of the people who were already on the mission in the Dark Dimension since even the association already knew that there were evil beings posing as spies among them in the human form and there were many evil beings who were able to escape from the Dark Dimensions somehow with the help of some forbidden technique to set foot on earth and might have mixed up with them and if they the evil beings came to know about the positions of humans who are sent on missions in the Dark Dimensions and know about their camps then it will bring catastrophic effect on those humans since for the evil beings humans are a type of food for them and the brave human soldiers will be devoured by the evil beings.

Captain Siddhant said: “Guys we have just escaped from the Asteroid Belt somehow and now we have entered desolate area of the Dark realm properly so even though the Asur ships are far away from us we have to be vigilant and should not get attention of the Asur or any such evil beings for now and we should lay low for a few days and observe their movement first.”

Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.

The crew had gone through a lot of pressure in the last few days while escaping from the asteroid belt and now that they had entered the desolate area they found that the Asurs were already there patrolling the area and making it difficult for them to do their search for the energy essence which was the primary reason for them to come here in the first place. They did not understand what should they do or how long they have to wait before the Asura's will leave the area but they did not have a choice since in this Dark dimension Asurs can be said one of the most powerful species almost invincible and could do anything they want so they cannot reveal themselves and challenge them for a direct war also they were less in numbers and they did not know the locations of the other human camps here in the Dark Dimension.

Vice Captain Dilip suggested: “Siddhant do you think if we wait for a few days then these Asurs are going to go away from this area. By the looks of it the situation seems to be like they are also searching for something and not just patrolling the area and if that is the case then they are not going to leave after a few days. They may take much longer till the time they are successful in their task.”

Since Dilip was the perpetrator himself he did not dare to suggest that the Asurs might have been searching for the energy essence since he was the one who shared the information about the possibility of finding energy essence in the desolate area in the first place.

Pilot Anjali asked with exasperation since she was tired of constant illogical arguments from Dilip: “Then what else should we do since we do not have a choice because we cannot control the Asurs as to where they would like to patrol in their dimension so then should we also wait a bit longer and see ourselves.”

Vice captain Dilip said: “We can always return back to the headquarters rather than waiting here for the Asurs to capture us and then imprison us to be tortured and killed by them. We can always return to complete this mission later when the time is right instead of just waiting for them to come and catch us.”

Captain Siddhant said: “There might not be a next time since if they are able to discover this energy essence then the situation might be very different and then there might be a large scale break out of the evil beings to our dimension which will not only affect humanity but greatly affect the other good beings of our dimension and because of that I am ready to wait as long as I can and once I get an opportunity to sneak in to our desired location then I am going to make a move and that is my final decision.”
