He took in a deep breath, the dungeon’s cold stale air filling his lungs before he breathed out the excess.
Its coldness was nothing compared to the coldness that now encased his heart.
Like a grasping hand of frost, it grabbed him deep inside and clenched tightly.
Kaine felt the dangerous power fuel him.

Smith of nasty spell, now you choose the crossing of your path.
Do you wish to be a summoner of vengeance? [Dread Knight]
Or maybe a builder of forsaken armies? [Necromancer]
Perhaps, you wish to befall your enemies in the form of fear itself? [Revenant]
Kaine over looked each choice, inspecting each.
{Dread Knight}; Bringers of deadly misfortune to the unfairly fortunate.
We cometh forth with the strength of a hundred living, but stand tall thereafter with the infinity of death. Kill us, slay us, still we fight. We give only two choices, destroy us or be destroyed. For everything we destroy.
You are a warrior of death.
{Necromancer}; Unholy priests of life, breathers of it from the least sanctified books of necrotic power.
We give not the kiss of life, we do not give options. We give orders, and I order thy, cometh from the afterlife to serve yours truly. And call thee, not sir or madam, not lord. Call thee, Master.
A spellcaster of undeath.
{Revenant}; A mixture of Dread Knight and Necromancer, strong in both brawn and magic, stand naught in their path.

We not only cast whimsy into the air nor do we rush forth brazenly. We hunt our quarry, we find our forsaken foe. Tread not into our list, less we write you down anyway, right before cutting you out. All is for vendetta.
Adequate at sword and spell, but master of neither.
Kaine chose the third option, knowing perfectly what he was doing.
The job of {Revenant} was chosen.
Your unholiness is further disrespected with dark powers beyond your full understanding.

Dropping his dagger, the cold blue then burst out of his fingertips also.
Running down his fingers and engulfing his hands, it wasn’t far from a flame, but different at the same time. It flickered like one, yet it seemed slow and lacking any sort of heat.
It was an eerie flame, and it seemed to suck the heat right out of his surroundings, turning the already cold dungeon even colder.
A sound escaped the flames, a voice.
Two voices…
One from each flame…
“Well, isn’t this interesting.”
“Hah! What! What? What!? I’m a fireball! Holy shit please throw me at it!”
“So…the game does see each of us as a separate soul..” Kaine mused from the main body.
“Seems like so…but what do you plan to do with that?” Jor asked.
“Throw me! Holy crap fuck shit! Throw me!” Nidhogg begged.
“I’m not throwing you, I’m doing something more…fun.” Kaine muttered out, “You see, normally the game requires a freshly killed body to use necromancy. Since the vessel and soul would both still be present and mostly whole. But as long as I do have a soul to control, all I need is a vessel.”
“And where the hell do you see a body dipshit!? Huh? Huh! Huh!?” Nidhogg asked from the left.
“He puts out a good point.” Jor added.
Kaine then kneeled before Nova’s ashes.
“Exactly, hell.” Kaine muttered out once more, seemingly in a daze, his focus was elsewhere as he inspected the pile of hellish dust.
Placing his left hand down then, Kaine pushed it into the ashes.
“The game thinks of Nidhogg as a demon, so it’s only fitting.” Kaine mused.
When suddenly the monstrosity rushed forth.
“I shall not permit you!” The voice exclaimed with sudden fury, as the beast descended upon Kaine with ferocity.
Looming over him, he was akin to an ant about to be eviscerated by a spider.
When suddenly the flame on his right hand rushed upwards.
“Summon Spectre.” Kaine mumbled out under his breath, and Jor’s flame took shape as it rose.
Four armed and with the body of a serpentine humanoid, taking Vali’s form but thrice the size, Jor faced the monster’s descending blades with his own ethereal blue.
“Permit me? No, I won’t permit you from stopping me.” Kaine said with an anxious chuckle, he was trying very hard to remain calm.
Pressing his hand further into the ashes, Nidhogg’s flame engulfed them.
Requirements for [Ritual] spell {Undeathly Reincarnation} complete.
“I summon you to the physical plane, I give your soul a body, to shape and make however you wish.” Kaine chanted from memory alone, a spell he hadn’t spoken in a very, very long time. “I give you breath, I give you hunger, I give you a purpose. Serve by my side, cometh to unlife and call me Master! I summon you Demon! Come forth! Nidhogg!”
The ashes then suddenly began to burn.
And the blue flame, flickered, before turning a crimson red.
Out of the burning ashes a hand appeared, grasping out onto the floor, it was dark and scaly.
The creature inside the ashes growled, as it pulled itself out.
As if crawling out of hell itself.
And as it came out, its form grew.
A hulking humanoid now stood before Kaine and behind Jor.
Pitch-black carapace-like flesh covering its torso, as greyish-black scales encased its shoulders, arms and waist and legs.
Blood-red needle-like fangs, fleshy black claws.
Two massive coiling horns of dark grey.
Two long snarling black fangs growing longer than the rest.
And two very pissed off blood red eyes, narrowing into shivering slits.
“Oh fuck me I need to smash something!” Nidhogg exclaimed with a bellowing laugh, bashing his right fist into his open left palm, causing a small quake to surge through the air around the collision.
“Impossible! How do you know such spells!? I sensed no such magic within you earlier! Where do you get this knowledge! Demonic summoning was lost eons ago!” The voice from within the floor boss exclaimed in panic.
Kaine chuckled, as he rose from the floor, he laughed.
“People look at me, and either see the warrior that is Nidhogg, or the rogue that is Jor. But in reality, those were just alts. My main character? My main persona? My main fucking class in the previous game? You should know already…come on, you’re all reading my mind aren’t you?” Kaine’s laugh increased in hysteria, “Or…are you?”
Taking a stumbled step back, his expression paused into wonder, fixing itself on the looming beast as Jor held it at bay. Before suddenly breaking out into a chuckle once more, “I was a mage, my main character was a fucking caster. And oh lord how easy has this game made it to become one now…Ohohoho, so so easy. I can barely believe it myself.”
“What are you blabbering about!?” The lich exclaimed in fury.
Kaine only smiled.
As Jor smirked.
As Nidhogg laughed.
“I’m about to show you what an alpha mage player is capable of.” Kaine added.
