During the aftermath of the second flood, walking corpses littered the streets---hunting and killing everything that had flesh on its being, but even they paled in front of the severity of humanity's inborn brutality.
He watched as the world was turned inside out, its hidden gore and darkness hidden just beyond the surface was revealed to everyone. It was then during that time that he first felt the structure weaken.
The souls tainted black corrupt the core of the world. The beginning was a means to an end, while the end was a means to nothingness.
Thus, humanity fractured.

Leaping out of the bed he immediately scanned his surroundings.
"Huh?"
His smile didn't leave his face, but Sirus' eyes revealed his confusion.
He looked around and everything was no longer black, Zenith was nowhere to be seen. Instead everything had become so colorful and vibrant.
The stench of death, was gone, replaced by the smell of fresh air with the slight inclusion of pine. The eternal winter that blanketed the earth had been changed to a homely warmth. Even the howls of the souls of the dead had been silenced, and only the sweet singing of birds and sound of clicking insects resounded.
Under his feet was not snow and ice, but a floor made out of wood, even the walls that contained him was made of wood, and inside of this wooden box was a soft bed, a table, two chairs, a cabinet, and other furnishings. He was inside of somebody's room.
Scratching his head in confusion, his smile widened as he turned his head towards the glass window.
Peeking outside his eye perceived something unbelievable---nature.
Everything was so full of life that nothing in his memories of the past even came close to recreating such a scene.
*Knock!* *Knock!*
"Hey, are you awake?" a female voice asked from behind the door, and just like Zenith's, the words were something he wasn't familiar wi---actually, his mind had information on the language spoken.
And almost as if it was natural for him, he spoke. The new language flowed from his lips as if it was his native tongue.
"Y-yes, I'm awake," he hastily replied, trying his best not to sound awkward.
The door opened, revealing a young girl, her appearance seemed to be that of someone around 13 with her body still developing. She wore baggy, dark pink pajamas, her long violet hair disheveled, eyes were half-opened, while her tail dropped, dragging on the floor as her tiny black wings carried her entire body in the air.
Clearly, this girl had just awoken.
Flying closer towards him, Sirus silently tried making sense of the situation as the pink-haired girl with wings started inspecting him.
Grabbing his hair and knocking on his head, the girl made a breath of relief.
"Seems like rolling you down the mountain didn't do any damage," she muttered silently to herself.
"Where am I exactly?" Sirus asked, unable to hold back his curiosity any longer.
"Oh right, your in the shed right now," you should probably wait here, I'll just get dressed. Bye~" said the girl as she carried herself outside the room, closing the door on her way out.

Now, once again alone, Sirus sat on the side of the bed, obediently waiting for the girl to come back. He realized that his black cloak was gone, and he was now wearing a white shirt and black pants that weren't his.
Taking Zenith's words into consideration, he straightened his goals, and for now he needed information.

Mia was looking at herself in the mirror. She held a brush in her hand using it to slowly straighten out her bed hair.
She was thinking of the boy she had picked up the other day.
He crashed from the sky out of nowhere, was thrown around like a ragdoll but had sustained no injuries, his cloak was heavier than a full suit of armor, he had no idea about where he is, and there was also the fact that he hasn't shown any other expression other than a smile-----even while he slept he smiled!
'Hmm~ his way of speaking was also sort of strange...'
Using magic she conjured a ball of water and placed in a basin for washing her face.
'I need to ask him where he came from later. Since there's no other place here to stay at, he'd have to stay here, it's a good thing Auntie is kind to strangers... especially to handsome young boys.'
She giggled as she admired herself in the mirror. Her past sleepy look was gone and was back to her usual cute self.
Looking at the clock hung up her door, she saw the time.
"I guess I should go back and check up on him." She said as she fixed the buttons on her sleeveless pink dress. Making her way up to her chest she pressed down and felt the nonexistent mounds. She pouted.
"Small chest are filled with hopes and dreams..." She chanted. It was what her Auntie would tell her whenever she was depressed at how her chest hadn't grown.
She continued buttoning her dress when she heard a shriek.
"AAAAAHHHHH!!!"
It was Auntie.
She quickly enveloped herself in mana and activated her magic---[Teleport].
As she felt the space around her distort, a slight dizziness assaulted her, but then she suddenly found herself back inside the shed, only difference was the huge hole in the wall.
Peering outside through the wall that seemed to have been blown away by brute force, Mia saw the figures of two people.
There was the boy with ash grey hair she brought back, sprawled on the ground with a nervous and confused smile on his face. The other person was her Auntie, a mature woman in her prime, her figure was perfect was ever, and her womanly assets were like the manifestation of men's desires, but she wasn't human, her two slit cobalt blue eyes and dark purple tail that matched her long hair made sure to show that.
She was a dragon.
And in this scenario, the dragon had a boy pinned down beneath her with glittering eyes and a long tongue dripping with saliva in a very obscene manner.
Mia watched silently, peeking behind the broken wall. She watched as the usual reserved and mature aura was stripped away from her Auntie.
While she watched intently at how the situation would develop with flushed cheeks, her eyebrow raised as she noticed something in the distance.
Squinting her eyes, she could see a shiny silver helmet hidden behind the trees. Just like her it intently watched at how the situation was unfolding, also somehow, the helmet's sides had a light shade red as if it was blushing.
As the helmet realized it had been discovered by Mia, it brought his gauntlet's index finger to his visor, signaling her to keep silent.
Mia grinned and nodded, turning her eyes back to the two people sprawled on the ground.

A woman that could only be described as a divine beauty was casually running through the forest at the pace of a tempest wolf. A cheerful smile hung on her face, her tail followed behind her wagging joyfully.
The other day, Mia had tried inviting her to watch the sunrise but no matter how much she willed her body to wake, she couldn't move an eyelid and fell back to sleep-----a grave sin.
'How could I have denied the cute Mia of such a simple request!' She cried out internally the moment she awoke and recollected what had happened. And so she quickly tried to look for Mia to make it up to her, only to find herself lost in the middle of the forest.
While spending hours wandering around the thick lush greenery, a certain animal caught her eye as it lay perched on a tree branch.
'A bird!' She exclaimed as she saw the small majestic bird in all it's glory. It was pure white with some beautiful purple streaks and long tail feathers.
'This will definitely cheer her up!'
Grabbing the bird, she lifted her nose to the wind to get a scent back home.
Without much luck, she clicked her tongue. "Just how far out am I?"
For another few hours she spent wandering around once more. Seeing it was already around midnight she laid under a big tree hugging her legs, the bird she caught earlier was sleeping soundly on her head. She was about to drift into sleep herself, before...
"The scent of a boy?" She immediately stood back up and traced the scent.
Knowing there was only place in the forest that could shelter for people, she quickly dashed towards the source of the scent.
While she was happy that she found a way back home, another thought was in the back of her mind.
'I hope he's cute!' She giggled.
