It took me a while for my mind to fully comprehend the situation I'm in now. Just in case you missed it, I'll do my best to fully explain what tomfoolery occurred in the last chapter. Hopefully, I may clear up any confusion and inconsistencies that may exist.
Okay.
First of all, it seems that I am permanently stuck in this world, the world that the edgy sounding teenage goddess claimed she had created, but due to some unfortunate events, my one and only way of getting out of this new world is basically nonexistent all because of me falling for her "trap". I felt like I was baited to this world just to take care of her responsibility for overseeing(?) this world. No, maybe it was just because she wanted me to test out this world. I don't know. This is all just pure speculation.
Well, maybe baited wasn't the right word, but unfortunately, my grammar wasn't up to the task at the moment.
Second is not only the medieval-looking world that I'm trapped in but the highly proactive feminine body that is supposedly mine.
"Even my hair is longer..."
How in the world am I supposed to wash this? Do I need a hairdryer of some sort? It would definitely be very useful if they did have it here, but unfortunately, I highly doubt such a tool exists in this world.
"Sigh. Well, no use in crying over spilled milk."
I stood up from my sitting position that I've been holding for around half an hour. My back ached as I stood on both feet.
Shoot, my hands are dirty.
I rubbed them on my shirt to clean them, and there I realized that the garments I was wearing looked like a bunch of rags sewn together to form a dress. Actually, it even felt rude to even call this a dress due to how dirty it looks.
"Clothes... I need clothes..."
Exiting the long alleyway, I made my way through the streets, in search of clothing that made me the tiniest bit fashionable. Since I was a girl now I probably have to deal with these annoying things like looking good.
Drat. What a troublesome life I'm going to be living now.
Now that I see it under the seemingly bright sun, this town gives off vibes that you would normally see during the medieval ages. Horse carriages are used to transport people and what seems to be farming stuff, while everyone here is dressed like villagers. It reminded me of a certain MMORPG game that I used to play in my old life.
My old life.
"Now that I think about it, at least I don't have to suffer in that cruel planet anymore. For now, I can enjoy my new life here in this world." I said, looking around the busy streets. "Right. First off I need to find some sort of shop that sells clothes."
I just realized that my current self doesn't seem to have any sort of currency on my pockets, but we'll set that aside for now.
After walking around, there was only one shop that seemed to hint that it was a clothing store. It has windows, but the glass was so thick that you couldn't see what's inside. There was a sign outside with a shirt logo on it, so I assumed it was a clothes store.
I opened the door to take a peek inside.
"Hello... Is anyone here?"
"........"
No one responded.
I stepped inside the small room. There were hangers full of clothes everywhere, from shirts to what seems like dresses that one would only see a royal family to wear. Strings were scattered all over the place, while scissors, needles, and pins were scattered all over the place. Since I was walking bare-footed, I tried to avoid the random stitching tools that were loitering around the floor. A needle to the foot might be deadly.
But at the center of the room was what seems to be a silver dress. The way the sunlight from the windows illuminates the dress is almost blinding. The skirt seems to be so fluffy that any sharp object that even touches it will create a huge cut. The stand it was on almost matched my height, only being short by a bit. It's probably meant to be worn by princesses my height.
"Hmm..."
By the looks of it, it probably matches my breast size.
What kind of material is this made from? This fabric doesn't look like anything from earth. Heck, this might be even better than those Chinese silk -
"Hello? Is someone there?"
I lept to my feet at the sudden voice behind me like I'd been drowsed by cold water. I looked at the direction of the female voice. There was a woman at the counter. She probably came from the curtain behind her since she was still holding it.
"Oh my! A customer! I'm sorry I took so long." The lady looked at me before smiling. "Welcome to my shop. Do you need something?"
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
"Umm..."
I was frozen due to the sudden kindness that was shown before me. I was used to being scolded every time I do something inappropriate like barging into a shop without a shopkeeper, so this sudden kindness froze me on the spot.
"It's okay," The lady said. "My name is Cecilia. I'm the owner of this clothes shop."
"Umm..." It was rude to not give your name when a person tells you their name. "My name is Arn-"
I stopped myself before I could say my old name, Arnold Freimann.
"Hmm?" Cecilia tilted her head. "I'm sorry, I didn't seem to catch that. What's your name, young lady?"
That's right. I was a girl now. A manly name like Arnold Freimann would be a really weird name for a young girl like me.
........
The thought of abandoning my old name sent a tear down my eyes. Why did I have to get reincarnated as a girl? If I was a boy things would've been a lot better! Damn that goddess, I'm going to get back to her someday -
"Why are you crying?" Cecilia said as she approached me. Reaching from her pocket, she genuflected on the floor and wiped my tears with a napkin.
"C-Colette..." I forced the letters out of my mouth. "My name is Colette..."
Colette was the first name I could think of since Cecilia reminded me of that actress I saw on television with the same name back on earth.
"Wow, what a cute name!" Cecilia exclaimed. "So, what brings you here to my shop, Colette?"
"Umm... Uhh..." Once again, I was speechless.
Damn, kindness does exist in this world...
Cecilia looked at me before smiling, saying "Oh, I know! You're looking for clothes, aren't you?"
I simply nodded.
"I was just looking around. I don't have any money," I replied.
"That's okay! Your big sister Cecilia will make you one, on the house!" she said. "This rag dress won't do for such a cute girl, so I swear on my name, I will make you the cutest dress in existence!"
"That's okay, really... You don't have to -"
But before I could finish my sentence, Cecilia went through the curtain at the back of the counter, probably to get something. She came back with a measuring tape on her hand.
"First, I'm going to measure your sizes, so please step in here." Cecilia opened a curtain in what seems to be a fitting room.
"Sizes?"
"Yes. I'll be measuring your breast size, hip size, and waist size. It's essential for creating any kind of dress."
I stepped into the fitting room. As soon as Cecilia finished measuring she said, "All right. I'm done measuring your sizes. Are you going anywhere today, Colette?"
"No, not really..." I was just some girl roaming around town, so I don't have any plans for the rest of the day.
"That's fantastic! Why not join me today then?"
"Umm... Sure..."
Cecilia took my arm and led me to the room behind the curtains. There was a wooden stairwell leading to the second floor.
As we went up, Cecilia asked: "Do you have a home, Colette?"
"No... Not really...." I answered. "I don't have any home to sleep in tonight."
"I see. Why not live here for the meantime?"
"H-Huh?"
Wait, is she being serious? She's inviting a total stranger into her house?"
"It's okay. You don't have a roof to sleep under tonight, so that's more than enough to invite you to my home." Cecilia looked at me and smiled. "You can stay here for as long as you like."
"T-Thank you..." The only thing I could repay her was my gratitude.
What a kind person. I was lucky that such a caring person exists in this world. I would've been toast by now without her kindness.
We reached the second floor. It seemed to be Cecilia's workspace since there were fabrics all over the room. There seemed to be more dressers compared to downstairs, and aside from the messier floor, there were five machines on a large table. It looked like sewing machines because of the cloth and thread on the machine.
"You can go up to the third floor," Cecilia instructed me. "There are four rooms up there. Your room is in the first room in the hallway. If you need me, I'll be here downstairs to start working on your dress."
"Okay."
I went up the stairs as Cecilia instructed me. The third floor had one small hallway that seemed to extend until the end of the room, where a window was there to illuminate the hallway. I entered the first door on the left.
The room was small, but it's big enough to fit one bed. Behind the bed was a window, giving light to the room. A table desk sits beside the door, complete with pencils and books and such. A bookshelf sits across the room, full of books. Of course, it just looks like just any normal bookshelf.
"Ahh."
I lay down on the bed, which seems to be really bouncy.
"What a bouncy bed. Is this Cecilia's?"
Hmm. Probably not. Even if she was kind, there's no way she would offer her room to me.
There were two pillows on the bed. I hugged one and used the other as support for my head. I gently closed my eyes.
"......"
.........

............................
.................................
"I'm bored. Can't sleep."
I sat up on the bed. I looked around the room to see if there was anything that would entertain me at that time but to no avail. I turned to the current state of my body, which was sitting down on the bouncy bed.
"......"
I tried to scavenge the room to see if there was anything that would satisfy myself, but the closest thing I got was a hand mirror, lying down on the desk. I picked it up to examine my body.
Long purple hair. Big purple eyes. Smooth skin. Small hands. Big breasts. Curved waistline. Long legs. White feet.
"Got it. Got it. Yes, I agree. I definitely look like a girl."
I nodded to the narration of my face provided by my brain.
"Hmm... If I'm now a girl, then that means..."
If that's the case, then my Frankfurter Würstchen must be gone. I reached down to there, checking if it really disappeared. Nothing.
"........"
I felt my face heating up as dirty thoughts started to flood my mind.
A man trapped in a teenage girl's body is all alone in a small room. This might be my chance of a lifetime. There was no way I would pass on this opportunity.
Once again I forced my hand to touch -
"Colette! Dinner's ready!"
"Eeeeek!"
Cecilia opened the door and shouted mercilessly. I jumped off my bed and landed on the floor in surprise.
"What are you doing?!"
"I'm just calling you for dinner," Cecilia replied. "Is something wrong with it?"
"You don't have to barge in my room and shout!" Actually, maybe screamed was the better word.
"You might not hear it, so I shouted."
"But you even entered my room! Couldn't you at least knock?"
"Knocking the door just isn't my thing, you know," Cecilia rebutted. "Anyways, dinner's ready. I better see you downstairs or else I'll eat it all!"
With that weird statement, Cecilia disappeared from my sight and went down the stairs. She left the door open.
"........"
I recalled watching multiple shows where the protagonist is left in the room, then after a while, some noisy idiot barges in, while the main character couldn't do anything but to react in surprise. I hate these cliche moments.
