The woods had been quiet for a few hours now. Maybe he’d made it a little too hard on him Nik thought as he rested in the branch of a tree. But if Baz was keen on learning he couldn’t get himself lost in the woods.
He’d started strong following right behind Nikulas as he flew through the trees, letting loose those great white wings of his. He was fast, but as an owl Nik was faster, and the druid soon realized Baz had a limit on those wings, they were meant for small bursts of flight, not long travel. But he’d continued to follow him for hours before he began to slow his pace. Nikulas kept just out or his reach.
Somehow he’d lost him along the way but he was sure he’d catch up.
He could help him, Nik was sure of it. There was something in him wanted to burst out and grow all he needed was a bit of sun. Maybe then he’d tell him the truth of it all. What they were really hiding here. What he was looking for. Nik had to be sure he could really trust him, even now there was still something clawing at the back of his mind that he should just let it all go and let Baz leave empty handed. But Nik couldn’t help himself could he.
The bushes rustled and the sun went down and Baz appeared his white robes tore from the brambles Nik had lead him through. Good he needed to get rid of those.
The assassin spotted the tiny owl from high up in the trees and smirked and took off into a run letter two pure white wings appear, the glow around him growing as he took to the sky flew up to the branch Nik was perched on.
“Found you.” Baz smirked sitting down on the branch and Nik dropped his wild shape. The branch shook a bit but took the weight of the two of them. “Now what do I win?”
“Look at you all eager.” Nik laughed drawing a hand across Baz’s face and healing the superficial wounds the chase had wrought on his companion.
“I’m competitive and wasn’t loosing to an owl.”
“In that case.” Nik pulled him over and kissed him. “There’s your reward.”
“Pretty disappointing reward.” Baz nuzzled him. “Took me all day to find you...”
“Should have been faster,” Nik smiled at the sudden brash tone in Baz’s voice, he was getting more comfortable with him, showing his true colours under those pure white layers.
Their lips locked again and Nikulas wrapped his arms around Baz’s neck. He could feel Baz’s body tense again for a moment at the touch but soon the assassins hands caressed his face and Nikulas couldn't help but smile.
“You’re happy aren’t you?” Nik asked.
“This place is beautiful Nik.” Baz said. “It so still and quiet but it still feels like there’s…”
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
“Life?”
“Yeah, it’s the cold dead of winter but I can feel the life all around.”
“You connecting with the forest.” Nik smiled. “You’re starting to feel it. You never would have found me otherwise.”
“No, I’m just a good tracker.”
“Lie to yourself a little more then Baz.” Nik pushed Baz back against the trunk of the tree and started to take off the assassin’s robes. Tossing it into the snow below. Baz offering no protest as he helped him shed the next few layers. “I’ll be here when you come around to the truth.”
“And what truth is that?” Baz kissed his neck, starting to explore on his own, as Nikulas let his magic expand the branch of tree enough so they could move comfortably beneath the canopy.
“That your more human than you want to admit,”
“I’m not human though.”
“Mortal then.” Nik pressed himself onto Baz’s lap. “You like it here.”
“Nikulas...” Baz breathed deep. “I...”
“Let go Baz... I’ll catch you if you fall.” Nikulas stopped him before he had the chance to change his mind.
Baz trembled a bit in his arms and Nik drew his partners member in his hands slowly stroking him feeling him slowing stiffening. The assassin rested his head in the crook in his neck breathing deeply.
“Not so bad is it?” Nik cooed.
“No”
“Want a turn?”
“Yeah…”
Nik shifted drawing Baz’s hand down to stroke him, guiding him through the first few motions, but skilled hands soon found their rhythm and Nik felt the waves of pleasure starting to wash over him. Baz was still trembling a bit but was slowly finding his footing, kissing his way down Niks body and exploring on his own. Pressing himself into him like he was trying to force to them together in a desperate embrace.
“You want to keep going?”
“There’s more?” Baz’s breath hitched.
“There is but it might hurt a bit.” Nik drew his hand down Baz’s back.
“Pain is nothing…” he paused. “She protects me.”
“You sure you want more Baz?” Nik sensed his hesitation.
“Keep going. I like this feeling.”
“Stay here with me Baz.” Nik continued to thrust slowly.
“I am here.”
***********
Baz melted into him that light of his glowing bright, arms wrapping around Nik’s neck as the druid slowly found his own satisfaction before slipping Baz off his lap. He was a natural Nikulas had to give him that. He took to sex like a duck to water, even seem to crave it. Had he really been that starved for affection?
The two of them sat leaning on each other as they dangled their feet over the side of the tree. Baz still trembling and processing the moment. Neither of them had said anything but the silence was comfortable.
“You sore?” Nik said eventually.
“I’m alright,” Baz replied. “that was… I liked it.”
“I did too, I went slow, didn’t want to overwhelm you.” Nik continued, “it can often be a lot more intense.”
“That was easier in my that most of my training sessions.” He laughed.
“You glowed a bit too,”
“I what?” Baz blinked.
“Glowed.” Nik repeated. “Your skin got bright for a moment. Probably an angel blood thing.”
“Yeah angel blood…”
“You sure you’re okay?” Nik hugged him to him.
“Daymin would never do that...”
“Never say never Baz, who’s Daymin?”
“A friend… He’s like me, though he doesn’t have much of a sense of humour”
“He sounds charming.” Nik laughed. “Worried what he’d think about all this?”
“Yeah…don’t worry about it…” Baz moved to pull away awkwardly. “We should head back.”
“Hey Baz, you’re with me, there’s nothing to worry about in these trees so long as I’m here .” Nik stopped him pulling him back into him and kissed the top of his head. “like this side of you.”
“Yeah,” Baz smiled, resting his head back on his shoulder. “I do too, though I don’t know what to do with it yet.”
“You're just starting to grow, you’ll figure it out in time.”
