START THE FILMING

Soon all the actors and film crew had arrived and after a small meeting and initial instructions on the shoot, everything went into motion, going into work mode.

Since it was the first time filming for Santiago, he was a bit anxious, being surrounded by great actors like Damián Smith who played the role for which he auditioned, Mylo and Víctor Brown who plays the protagonist of the story.

Both were top-notch actors recognized in the industry, so they generated a bit of pressure on Santiago, who thought they were at the top, but soon discovered that not everything was as haughty as he thought.

Both actors were very approachable and cordial, which made his job much easier. Being his first day of filming in his life, his nerves were killing him, but thanks to the help of the other members of the filming, he was able to carry out the parts that corresponded to filming without problems.

The filming lasted about 5 hours and thanks to the fact that most of the shots were taken in the studio, progress was made by leaps and bounds that day. As is known, the filming of series or movies is not linear, but a plan is established and scenes are recorded depending on the moment and then put together.

Santiago had participated in two scenes today, one was the introduction of his character when he enters the gym and the second was some kind of training montage.

The director praised Santiago for keeping himself in such good shape, to the point that, thanks to that, he decided to change his character's training clothes a bit, so that he would better show off his good physique and look more attractive.

It is true that this type of thing may sound a bit irrelevant, Santiago understood that everything was with the aim of showing him and his character with an appeal to future consumers of the series, being a sex symbol is not a bad thing.

Santiago pulled off his two scenes easily, they weren't particularly difficult anyway, the demanding scenes would be the combat ones and he was clear about that, however, since the combats would be simulated the director decided to film the combats last in case it happened. any accident does not interrupt the filming.

It was not uncommon for an accident to occur and one of the actors to be injured or receive an injury that would be difficult to explain later, so for this reason the fighting was left for the end of filming.

This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.

Santiago arrived at his apartment and was quite tired, all the excitement and hyperactivity he had at the beginning of the day was gone and now he was dead tired, to the point of falling asleep the second of lying in bed.

On the second day of filming, Santiago was already calmer and more composed, he carried out his performances with relative ease and only on a few occasions did the director ask him to repeat a scene.

A week passed at this rate, Santiago already felt much more comfortable and the cordiality of the work team and other actors made it much easier for him to adapt to the filming process.

Since his character is secondary, he should not be present every day, only when he would have scenes to film and it happened that the second week, he was not required, so he took advantage of the time to look for something he needed.

When he informed the head of the university, Abigail, she advised him to find an agent, as the money he was making was already quite considerable and if all went well he could get many additional jobs.

While it is true that having an agent entails dividing benefits, since the agent would take a part of Santiago's fees, it was also true that they would find him jobs and look after Santiago's interests, since his own depend on that.

The problem was finding a suitable agent. It was not strange to hear artists and agents fighting all the time or agents taking advantage of their stars and the like, so it was vitally important to find the right one.

Generally, new actors enter a talent agency where they are assigned an agent and work under the name of that agency, but Santiago did not want that, because he knew that, although there were benefits in that model at the beginning, it was an ordeal when you are a established actor.

For that reason he was determined to operate as an independent actor with an agent representing him as a person and not as an actor affiliated with an agency, however, that was easier said than done.

It was difficult to find an agent that met these conditions, since, for what Santiago wanted to do, he also needed an independent agent and the latter were only people with great experience who have developed over the years and have only first and second class stars. level in sight

Very few of them would see a rookie, the main reason was that they didn't have the time to take care of an actor at the beginning of his career, they focus on short term gains, not long term gains.

In other words, independent agents have the opposite work methodology to those of agencies, they wanted actors with a certain presence and empower them, while agencies seek to raise actors from a young age to enjoy them when they establish themselves.

Seeing this dilemma, Santiago did not know what to do and being at the limit of his wits, he decided to consult with Abigail, who, being a renowned and experienced actress, could shed light on the subject, so he went to the management office without delay.
