White Death's story continues

"A WHAT?!"

"A kiss. She owed me a kiss."

"No way, you can't just go inside a forbidden zone just for a kiss."

"Well, would you like to hear the rest of the story? Want me to continue or not?"

"Yes, yes, I'm sorry, I was merely surprised by your reason."

"Okay, so now, me, the lady and her father was caught by the witch. Now, she really wasn't expecting another windfall of food, so she just put me in the same cage as the lady. Now, as she left, I comforted this girl and told her that everything's gonna be alright. She was pretty calm by the way, much calmer than what I thought she was, something like she wasn't the lady I knew before, but I guess anyone will be once captured by a witch to be used as food. After thinking, I realized an epiphany which I then told the girl."

"I said, 'Hey! I heard the witch only eats non-virgins, why don't we, you know, you, me, all alone in this little cage, do some stuff that will make us unpalatable'. At first, she didn't understand, but with a stroke of genius, I managed to convince her that since we're going to die, why not just try, maybe the witch would free us. She let me lead her on, and so we did what a man and woman would do when alone together. We did it for a long time while her father was forced by the witch to make another cage."

"What kind of story is that? Wait a minute, she only owed you a kiss, yet you did that to her?"

"Well, that was because she owed me for some time already, so I'm gonna get back some interest, you know. Now, back to the story, so the father was merely delaying time for us while he was building another cage, a great wingman that guy was. He knew I was the Baron's illegitimate son and was hoping that Lord Baron would rescue us, but truthfully, the likelihood of that happening was nonexistent. So, when the time came for the father to finish the cage, but thankfully, I finished first before they noticed what was happening. After entering our little lovehouse, the witch was so shocked with what she saw that we spent sometime looking at each other, time which I used to wear my clothes. After our deed, I don't know why but I gained strength, maybe you could call it the power of love. That power I used to kick the door of the cage open. The witch, in her anger charged at me while I was going out of the cage, but I just grabbed a stick from the cage, which I promptly used to fight the witch for sometime. I barely stopped her, but I was merely biding time until I can get to my sword. Turns out she was also waiting for her spider too, but luckily I managed to get my sword before the spider attacked. Slash, cut, thrust, in mere moments, I severely injured the spider and managed to scare the witch off. She ran away, leaving her limping spider there in the room with me. I was a bit tired too, so I just slowly played with the spider until it died."

"After some time, the witch returned at dusk, maybe to ambush me, but I was merely pretending to be asleep, so when she approached me, I instantly attacked her with my sword. She was a good fighter though and we fought about another 8 hours from her house, to the forests, until I finally managed to defeat her with the help of the girl's father beside a rocky cliff. Sadly, her father died under the witch's final blow. So, we burned the witch in her house along with her spider and buried the father in the ashes. We then went home to the castle."

After Genji finished with the story, George was in disbelief. He squinted his eyes and looked at Genji again, looking at how such a little man such as Genji beat the witch. He even doubted their ancestors and was wondering if they were just covering up for their incompetence in dealing with the witch.

He really can't be blamed though, for Genji himself doesn't really look like of a fighter. What really happened was that first, Genji received a quest from his system early on when the girl left to look for her father. Turns out that the girl was so shocked upon receiving news of her missing father that she switched to another personality. Genji's system took note of that and gave Genji a quest. The girl was a rare type of dual personality body and Genji's quest was to conquer her. The reward of the quest is the power of Kenji Oja.

Kenji Oja is the main character of Battle Realms and in the game, the player was supposed to control Kenji in helping one of the two clans restore peace to the realm. Normally, Kenji Oja was supposed to have two different forms and personalities in the game, depending on which clan he chooses to support. Now, the system gave Genji the power of the two Kenji's instead, the craftiness and resourcefulness of Serpent Kenji and the courage and confidence of the Dragon Kenji. Dragon Kenji is the undisputed strongest master in Battle Realms, statwise he has no weakness except for having no ranged attack, while Serpent Kenji who is also a good shot with a flintlock pistol is third strongest in the ranking, only below Grayback in his prime and Dragon Kenji. The combination of both Serpent and Dragon Kenji makes Genji very competitive, unscrupulous like Serpent, yet peerless like Dragon. Genji only has the cultivation of a soldier, not even a knight, but he can climb ranks to defeat even militant grand knights two levels above him, much less his father who was a grand knight merely piled up with resources. That gave him hope on replacing his brother as inheritor of the land and title but sadly, fate has other plans for him because his mother was kidnapped along with Edward's mother. Edward's mother was the legal wife, complete with noble relatives so she was ransomed by his father while Genji's mother was not. Genji's mother was reduced to the soldiers' plaything and put to death after the bandit's were through with her. The ringleader was the son of Duke Alexis, Baron Gustov and his soldiers.

Genji was disillusioned with the unfairness of it all, and in that moment, he finally realized that it would be impossible for him whose mother was merely a commoner to inherit the barony.
