Chapter 2: Coming Out of The Closet

Chapter 2: Coming Out of The Closet

Wang Lo comes to the realization that he is stuck in Tiffany's body. He was supposed to go to heaven after the plane crash… I mean he was a relatively good person. He treated everyone with respect and volunteered his time at food banks. So why does he have a second shot at life?

But he asks himself one question… what happened to Tiffany? Did she go to heaven?

Regardless he has to adapt to his new life and accept his body.

"Where did you go?" says Tiffany's mother.

"I'm just in the washroom. I'll be out soon."

Wang exits the bathroom and goes back to eating his pancakes.

"Mom. I have a question."

"What is it honey?"

"When I was in the hospital for 4 years… I was wondering what happened in those 4 years. I have a lot of catching up to do."

"Yes. Well I was thinking of that. Your father works for a different company now. I work at the same company though."

"I see…."

"So Tiff, what was it like being asleep for 4 years? Did you have any dreams while you were asleep?"

"Well it felt like a never ending dream where I was in another world. Honestly it felt surreal."

The dialogue goes back and forth between Jessica and Wang for quite a while.

Wang goes to his room where he shuts the door and begins having a nap.

He wakes up half an hour later.

"Oh right I still have my phone. Now where is it?"

He searches the room. And eventually finds it tucked away in a dresser. He turns it on and connects to the internet.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

He decides to look at his own Facebook profile, not Tiffany's profile. He searches 'Wang Lo living in South Korea.' A bunch of results pop up but he sees his face. He scrolls down to his feed and sees a bunch of his friends and family offering their condolences for his death.

One post reads:

'Praying for Wang's family. This is honestly the most heartbreaking tragic thing I have ever seen. I am really devastated that I lost a close friend. Wang I hope you rest in peace my friend.

~Love Lucy'

Wang is just absolutely lost for words as he's scrolling through the hundreds of comments.

He decides he's gonna do something else. This is too much for him to handle. He searches profiles of hot guys since he's a woman he's trying to find out if he has any feelings of attraction to these guys.

The first guy is really muscular and wearing sunglasses. He doesn't feel anything. I mean Wang knows he's good looking but isn't attracted to him. He keeps scrolling through more pictures. NOTHING. He isn't attracted to guys. He finds this rather odd considering he didn't like blueberries but now he does so why doesn't he like any of the guy pictures.

Wang decides he's going to look at supermodels now. He pulls up the first picture. She's really hot and has large breasts, red hair, and blue eyes. This turns Wang on. He looks at more pictures and gets more horny. It seems he's attracted to women. He's still puzzled but it seems this Tiffany person might have been attracted to women.

“Well that settles that,” Wang thinks.

Wang tries remembering if he ever came out to his mother about being a lesbian. He doesn’t remember anything about that but does remember that Tiffany was about to say something to her mother before she got in the drunk driving accident.

Wang makes his way downstairs.

“Mom I have something to tell you… I’ve been holding it in for a while now.”

“Go ahead sweetie.”

“I’m a lesbian.”

“WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY???”

Wang realizes he just screwed up and remembers that Tiffany is living in a christian house where they don’t believe in same-sex marriage.

“I… I’m sorry mom.”

“Well now… this coma did a lot to you. You’re not thinking straight.”

After a while, Wang decides to go for a walk. He remembers the route Tiffany always took. He gets his shoes on and can’t wait to go outdoors on a nice summer day.

Wang walks past the cemetery. There are many tombstones and so many flowers. There’s goldenrods along the fence line. The grass is not cut and is left to grow naturally. Wang thinks this may be where he wants to be buried when he dies. He then thinks about his death in his previous life… He takes a deep breath.

He walks several hundred meters, and suddenly has a memory come to him. The house he’s standing in front of belongs to Tiffany’s best friend.

Wang decides he will knock on the door.
