An old grey and white-haired woman hobbled up the stairs of the bungalow and pushed open the hatch to the attic. The pale-skinned woman popped her head through the attic hatch and looked around the plain bedroom, with the only things in the room being a simple bed, wardrobe, a full body mirror and a large pile of dust surrounding the bed.
"Come on Mio dear, you're going to be late for school, and could you clean the room up later." the old woman said to the female teen on the coverless bed before slowly walking back down to the ground floor. The super pale teen lazily sat up and passively yawned. She brushed her black and white hair out the way from her eyes, black left eye and white right eye. She slowly panned her gaze out the circular window next to her bed with an emotionless stare. She glanced down at the dust on her bed and slowly brushed it off the bed.
Mio climbed off the bed and walked into the bathroom. She quickly took a shower, put on her white spandex, which also goes over her hands and feet, and grabbed a hair brush. She blankly looked at her reflection in her mirror and weakly sighed. A few minutes later, Mio in a school uniform walked downstairs with her hair now in two large/long drills, the right one being white and the left one being black. She entered the kitchen where her grandmother was waiting for her with a lunch box.
"My-my, it only took you twenty minutes to get ready I think that's a new record." Mio's grandmother teased as she handed Mio the lunch box. Mio emotionless blinked at her grandmother before placing the lunch box in her storage pocket bubble, a magic spell that creates a magic bubble for the caster to store things in a pocket dimension. Mio bowed to her grandmother before walking towards the house's exit.
"Don't forget your mother will be coming over later with your stuff." Mio's grandmother mentioned before Mio exited the bungalow. Mio walked through the bungalow's flowery garden and stopped by the garden's gate, which lead to a road. She overlooked the vast mountain-high hills and the large city in the distance. She flatly sighed before opening the gate.
A light-skinned teen boy with pointy ears, white feathery wings, and slightly long spiky blue and white hair was relaxing on top of a dark blue motorbike, with a glowing blue outline and glowing blue tires, as it raced down the windy road of the mountain high hills.
"I can't believe there's a no-fly zone so far out from the Lumios, it's almost like they don't..." the teen complained to himself. The teen raised his sunglasses, exposing his pale golden eyes to the sun, making him rapidly blink, as he noticed Mio walking by the side of the road. The teen sat up and straightened out his school uniform, that was the male form of the clothing Mio was wearing, and his hair, but it instantly went spiky again.
Mio heard an echoey neon sign-like noise getting closer to her. She stopped and turned to face the road as the teen stopped his bike next to her.
"Well well, if it isn't my favourite bundle of destruction and menace to the world's supply of honey." the teen remarked as he rested his elbow inbetween the handle of his motorbike.
"Reku..." Mio quietly said to the point it was almost inaudible before she hopped onto the motorbike and wrapped her arms around a bemused Reku's waist. Reku looked back at Mio as she rested her head against his back and closed her eyes. Reku rolled his eyes before he continued riding his motorbike, at a reduced speed, towards Lumios.
A while later, Reku rode his bike through the futuristic and magical streets of Lumios while weaving through traffic. He came to an abrupt stop with the traffic lights turned red and he rested his arm on his bike as he waited.
"And that makes four, I swear I must be cursed or something-". Reku darted his head up when he heard a high-pitched girl's voice playfully laughing from above. He squinted his eyes as a small silhouette rapidly descended from the sky. For a split second, Reku wondered if he should do something but realised the falling girl's speed was decreasing. The girl landed next to Reku allowing him to get a better view of her and see that she had a big grin on her face.
The almost pure white-skinned girl appeared to be around the age of five with snow-white woolly, like a sheep, hair with bright magic particles flowing out of her hair. The girl also had sheep-like ears on the top of her head and tail. Despite having a kid suddenly fall from the sky and landing next to him, the thing Reku found the most surprising was the girl was wearing the same kind of school uniform as Mio.
"You... seem familiar... do I know you, oh and the name's Reku," Reku commented as he lifted his sunglasses. The girl suddenly became surprised when Reku mentioned his name. The girl slapped both of her cheeks, waking Mio up for a split second, before putting on a serious face.

"Greeting good sir, my name is Destiny Luminous," Destiny said as she struggled to speak as seriously as she could. A wave of realisation rushed through Reku's body, causing it to shiver, as he remembered why Destiny seemed so familiar.
"As in Princess Destiny Luminous?" Reku reluctantly and reservedly asked. Destiny proudly nodded her head.
"I-I see... so what can I help you with?" Reku asked as he rubbed the back of his head. Destiny's serious expression quickly washed away as she remembered why she had appeared before Reku in the first place.
"Oh yeah... I got kinda separated from the group of guards that were escorting me from the palace to the academy then I noticed you were wearing the same school uniform as me." Destiny explained.
"I guess that's why there's currently such a large no-fly zone around and outside the city right?" Reku asked. Destiny awkwardly chuckled in response.
"Maybee? But that's beside the point, I was wondering if you could take me to the academy?" Destiny requested while quickly bowing. Reku was a little flustered at Destiny suddenly bowing at him and unintentionally said yes. Destiny profusely thanked him while handing Reku five platinum coins with one large Vs on each of them.
"Don't you think that's a bit much for simple escorting you?" Reku nervously asked. Destiny firmly shook her head while mentioning her father told her to always repay kindness with what you think is equal to that kindness and demanded Reku to take the five platinum Valt coins.
"Fine, I guess...". Reku created a storage pocket bubble and Destiny dropped the coins into the bubble before it popped away. Reku placed his hand on his chin and pushed his head upwards until his neck clicked. A bubble, with a faint rainbow border, formed around Destiny before she floated above Reku. Destiny slowly descended and sat directly in front of Reku. Reku was about to ask Destiny if she was sure she wanted to sit there but the bubble around her popping answered his question. He defeatedly sighed and the two of them looked up at the still red traffic light.
"Well, this is taking forever..." Destiny pouted.
"You have no Idea." Reku disappointedly remarked. Destiny pointed her index finger at the traffic light before firing a small rainbow-coloured mana ball at it. Reku wondered what she was doing but before he could say anything the traffic light instantly went from red to green. He quickly took his chance and started to drive.
"So mind telling me what you just did?" Reku asked. Destiny cheekily giggled.
"It's one of my unique...". Destiny quickly looked at the palm of her hand and then back at Reku.
"...Unique azure abilities, called coding which lets me code any magic thingies.". Reku nodded his head.
"That so but you probably shouldn't use it to change that traffic light's colours," Reku explained. Destiny slumped her head downwards and poutingly mumbled she knows. Reku felt a shape pain in his chest as Destiny started to sulk.
"But if you were going to do that again, you should make the lights turn yellow first to make your tampering less obvious." Reku reluctantly mentioned. Destiny's sad expression quickly shifted to a grin as she understood what Reku was implying.
Reku stopped his motorbike in front of the archway that led to the academy grounds. Destiny looked up at the archway and read the words on it allowed.
"Lumilight Academy, founded in four-hundred and ninety-three, wait heh?". Destiny tilted her head as she stared at the academy sign. Reku sighed and created a one-centimetre dark blue cube with glowing blue edges. He flicked the cube at the academy sign and hit a camouflaged winged reptile that quickly flew off revealing it was covering a two.
"Oh... founded in twenty-four ninety-three, that makes more sense," Destiny remarked. Reku looked back at the sleeping Mio and poked her in the face with his wings.
"Alright sleepy head, we're here," Reku stated as his wings continued to poke Mio's face. Mio angerly groaned as she sat up straight. Reku and Mio got off the motorbike, with Destiny dramatically jumping from the motorbike and onto Reku's back. Destiny rested her arms over Reku's shoulders as he and Mio walked through the archway.
"Hey what about your bike-" Destiny asked as she looked back and watched the motorbike disperse into thousands of those one-centimetre dark blue cubes before they all faded away. Destiny quickly snapped her head back at Reku with fire in her eyes.
"What was that?" Destiny gleefully asked. Reku chuckled to himself as he thought of a response.
"Let's just say... it's one of my unique azure abilities, called Techno Cubes and I can guess you already know what it does?" Reku rhetorically asked. Destiny confidently nodded her head.
"Is it that you can create those dark blue cubes that you then form into bigger interlocking structures and can even change the properties of each individual cube like the completely glowing ones that seem to have a slight repulsion effect?" Destiny asked. Reku was left stunned by Destiny's explanation. Destiny slowly became worried as Reku continued to be unresponsive.
"Was I... wrong?" Destiny somberly asked. Destiny's question snapped Reku out of his stunned state.
"Huh? N-no it's just I just wasn't expecting such a detailed explanation, is all. Normally when people guess, they say I make stuff with cubes." Reku explained. Mio watched the two as Destiny continued to ask Reku about his azure ability. Mio looked down at the palm of her spandex-covered hands and meekly sighed before tightly grasping her hands closed.
