Chapter 1:

A blinding light appears, and when it disappears I see weird things. Brown things with little green things on it are in the distance, then a word pops up in my head Tree. The weird things were trees, and I wonder how I thought that. I then thought what is this voice in my head, what is a head. Then that's when  a massive migraine hit me.

Bits and pieces of other people's memories started to flood into my brain, things I didn't understand appeared in my head. I learned what heads and trees were, and I learned I'm living in a world called Nanoken.  I feel unconscious and woke up 2 hours later. After I woke up, I felt much smarter and I also learned something about myself, I was a non-sentient blood pool before. I was confused on how I became sentient and a humanoid, and that's when thought My goal in life is to find out what I am and how I became like this.

I put my foot out to take a step when my body exploded into a lake of blood. After a minute it reformed back into a shape of a humanoid. That's when I realized I need to control my body so that I can walk around normally and function like a normal Human a familiar but unfamiliar word and thing. Then a random memory popped up in my head, it was a memory of a man sitting cross legged and doing something I think is called Meditation. I copied what he did and after a few minutes I realized nothing was happening. Then I felt my body move on its own like it did it out of memory after doing the action multiple times. I circled a unknown white energy through tiny pathways in my body and that is when the words Qi, Cultivator and Meridians appeared in my head.

The qi circulated throughout my body, solidifying it. After a hour of meditation, I felt I could walk. I retried the attempt at walking, and it was successful. Although my body was solid now, I instinctively knew that if I wanted to turn back into the lake of blood, I could.

I walked towards the forest, and after a half an hour I reached it. I felt tired and hungry, so I went into the forest in search for a food and a possible shelter. After searching the forest for a little while, I ran into a human.

I waved my hand at him and said "Hello", but the human's eyes opened wide and started screaming something hysterically. I tried walking closer towards the human to try pacifying him, but it swung the sword it held in its hand. The sword cut through my left hand like it was going through butter, my left hand turned into blood. I felt a little pain, something a child could tolerate, but I started screaming as it was my first time experiencing pain.

I tried running out of the place as the human realized he was in the dominate position. He advanced on me while I was panicking, then I felt an urge coming from the blood. I look towards pile of blood and I felt my qi manipulating it by instinct. The blood turned into a dagger, with a blood red gem embedded into its handle while the blade extended 5 inches and had a carving of a dragon on it. The man blocked my view of it, but I called on the dagger, knowing it will return to me. The dagger lifted off the ground and sailed through the wind towards me. The dagger went straight the stomach of the human coming towards me and landed in my right arm.

The man fell forward, which I thought was him trying to attack me. I closed my eyes and swung the dagger. I felt an impact, and when I opened my eyes, I saw my dagger impaling through the neck of the man. He stared wide-eyed at me before falling dead on the ground. I pulled the dagger out of his neck and it turned back into my left hand and reattached itself.

I turned to look at the corpse, and strangely, I didn't feel disgusted at it. It felt normal to me but the thought of killing someone for the first time was still a little discomforting to me.

As I was staring at the corpse, an another memory surface, it was one of my abilities, Blood Tale. It allowed me to absorb the blood of someone and get his/her memories. It can be all their blood or a drop of their blood. Another ability appeared in my mind, and it was Blood Feed. I can absorb the blood of others to heal myself, feed my hunger and strengthen myself.

The emergence of my abilities greatly surprised me as well as excited me. I look to the corpse as I used my Blood Feed and saved one drop of blood, which I used Blood Tale on.

The memories of the human flooded into my brain, overflowing it, which made me black out and faint.
