To my Dedicated Readers.

As the vote is split, I will go with what is best for the story quality as well as my sanity and begin mass release starting February 1st of 2025. I do have several sections worth of writing material already written and saved, however, it is not chronically organized and the prologue is still in the works. The prologue itself will be mostly a recap of book 1 to allow new readers to skip reading the slower paced first book before Andrew truly grows into his power. There are little bits of information that are not included in book 1 as it does touch more on the transformation from Andrew’s Earth as it recovered from the destruction of World War 3 to the level it is at now. For the most part, to those who have read all of book one, the story will continue in chapter 1. I will advise that you wait until the end of the first 7 days of double releases before you start reading again.

Now being on the receiving end, I feel a bit bad for the other writers who lack a lot of readers but do good work.). Here are some things to look forward to.

Book 2 called “A Shattered Cage” will introduce several new elements that push the story along at a faster pace. Andrew finally gains a beast companion of his own, early on in this story. She is adorkable!

I will confirm that yes, his initial elemental assimilations of the basic tier mage stones primarily effected body reinforcement to a high degree. The venture of shattering his soul cage and merging the essence of his origin Earth gift and soul with the much smaller yet elementally diverse budding soul in the alternate reality, has a vast impact on how future elemental assimilation energies are processed from now on.

For those worried, yes Lynette is relocated to a much safer home before anything more can happen to her.

The promised LitRPG aspect finally arrives in this book. I had to create a logical background for how and why Andrew gains the use of blue boxes while none of the other Travelers do (I’m still unsure if I’ll bother with the actual ‘creation’ of blue boxes, but I'll make it obvious that there is communication). Hint. . . It’s not from any particular help on Naathan’s end.

Additionally, I am not going to go the route of displaying stats, creating classes, or giving levels. It is more of a supplemental aid in filtering elemental sensory/information input, processing, and relaying that information back to Andrew in a less confusing and overbearing way. It has growing potential in memory storage, recall, and other features that develop even as Andrew develops. Consider it a growth type system that is learning even as its host continues to learn.
