Punishment and Determination

Punishment and Determination

"Don't test my patience, you little bastard," Silas growled, a low tremor in his voice that sent shivers down Jayden's spine. The wrinkles on his weathered face deepened as he loomed over Jayden. "Your father wasn't even born when the whole world trembled at the sound of my name."

"Shut your mouth, old man. I won't believe the garbage you're spewing even if you beat me to death," Jayden yelled back at Silas, unwilling to back down. His bravado was impressive for a five-year-old, but Silas had seen that same defiance flicker in the eyes of countless people before they were broken.

Both of them locked eyes, unwilling to back down. It was an amusing scene, with Silas standing over 1.8 meters tall, and Jayden's small body creating a stark contrast in favor of the old man.

"That's it, I'm done with you. If I don't spank you to death right now, I will lose my mind," said Silas and with a sudden turn of his hand, he pushed Jayden to the ground, ready to slap his butt into oblivion.

"Ahem!"

Like a divine intervention for Jayden, Elio arrived at the 'crime scene' shortly followed by Ruele. They were astonished to see Silas's rage getting the best of him, as he prepared to spank Jayden who was trying his best to wriggle out of his grasp, but it was in vain.

"Mother! Help me, please call the mental disorder hotline immediately, we are dealing with an unseen new species of a crazy old man here who is trying to kill me!" Jayden's voice echoed, desperation evident in every word he shouted, pleading for his mother to come to his aid.

Silas was left speechless, unsure of how to respond to the situation unfolding before him. The child's words had a way of disarming the old man, leaving him unable to maintain his composure. Despite his frustration, he knew that arguing with a 5-year-old was a battle he couldn't win.

Elio's laugh filled the air, a hint of pride in his voice as he spoke, "That's my boy right there."

Rule observed her son with a mixture of amusement and concern, her smile never faltering. "Jayden, perhaps Grandfather Silas is right. Don't you think that after what you've done, a little discipline is in order? Hm?" She approached Jayden, her tone gentle but firm.

Silas seized the opportunity to assert his authority, his anger boiling over. "Ha! Do you see that? Even your mother agrees with me. Prepare yourself, boy, for the punishment you deserve." His voice thundered, leaving no room for argument as he prepared to discipline the young child.

A glint of something akin to excitement flickered in Silas' eyes, a stark contrast to the simmering anger moments before, and under the smiling gaze of his mother, Jayden learned that Ruele had another side that day.

He got his ass handed to him on a silver plate under his mother's smiling gaze. At some point, he even thought that Ruele enjoyed watching him getting his ass slapped. But it was the same thing for Ruele. After everything that transpired and the panic she was in because of his sudden disappearance, she wanted nothing more than to spank him and if Silas didn't do that, she was determined to do it either way.

"Father! Help! He is killing your only son," Jayden yelled, a stream of tears going down his cheeks as he felt his butt swollen from Silas slaps.

But Elio took the same face as Ruele had, and he smiled back at Jayden.

"You need to learn that your actions have consequences. And if you want to be treated like a big boy, then you need to take responsibility for your actions," Elio said, unfazed by what was happening.

After several minutes, the sound of Jayden's yelling and the slaps on his little baby butt stopped along with Silas's boiling rage.

"Ah, this old man never felt so happy in a long time," Silas said as excitement ran through his body. He felt that he would explode if he didn't teach Jayden a lesson right there.

"Stop being such a happy old freak. Wait until I get older, I will beat the shit out of you" Jayden retorted, his little hand massaging his butt in the meantime.

"Ok, ok, let's stop with this," Elio intervened, trying to calm both of them down. "Jayden, you should not speak to your elders like that, especially with your family.

"And Grandpa Silas. Jayden is just a small kid, don't take everything he says to heart," Ruele also said, trying to help Elio defuse the situation.

"Hmph!" Both of the culprits reacted in the same way, unwilling to look at each other.

"Jayden!" Ruele called him. "We're not here to take you home. Let's not discuss anymore what happened." She started to tidy Jayden's clothes and arrange his hair.

What was done couldn't be reversed and they've learned a valuable lesson from it. It was stupid to fight again with their son over spoiled milk. They just hoped for him to understand them as they understood as well what he actually wanted.

"Son, if you are ready, you can leave right now with Grandpa to start your training," Elio also completed Ruele, showing his willingness to let Jayden do what he wants.

Jayden looked at both of his parents, and a warm smile covered his face. He was happy that finally, both of them cared about what he wanted to do, and didn't try to protect him more than it was needed.

"Thank you! Mother and Father, I promise that next time when you will see me, you will be proud of what I've become.

The trio was finally at peace, with a common conclusion taken for Jayden's future and he was determined to do everything in his power to stay true to his words, even if he needed to endure Silas' treatment.

"Boy!" the old man interrupted them. "What you are about to do is something you won't be able to back down once you start. You will be forced to endure things worse than death. Think carefully about what you want because there is no coming back from this even if you want to." Silas took a stoic face as he warned Jayden.

The young man turned to face Silas, both of them locking their gaze again. But at that time, Silas saw something new in his eyes. It was an arduous determination. Even if Jayden didn't know what to expect, one thing he knew for sure, Silas wasn't lying with his words.

"I am ready!”
