Rememberance

AURORA

Chapter:- 9

: Rememberance:

Alena is not just beautiful but also brilliant. She was the head of the student body at her school.

She was very fond of chess, and she never lost to anyone in chess except some professional chess players. She was thinking hard. It was the first time she got bewildered while playing against someone; her opponent was Sedah, whom she thought of as just a 5-year-old boy, not a 17-year-old.

Sedah used to play chess in his world with an estimated FIDE rating of 2200, not an expert in chess but better than 99% of chess players.

After playing for a while, Alena was victorious. Sedah asked Red if he could check her chess ratings, but Red failed because it was not competitive.

"I am home!" Vince entered the house. "Welcome back!" Alena and Sedah greeted. Sedah went to the door to see Vince. But he couldn't believe what he saw, and Sedah was confused.

Vince's power level was now 8867. Sedah asked Red if he knows any cause. "There could be many reasons for it to happen. Maybe he learned some new techniques or snatched others' power, among other possibilities, but it's hard to specify what the reason is in Vince's case."

Red noticed a scar on Vince's palm and informed Sedah, "Papa, were you fighting?" Sedah asked out of curiosity.

"There is a scar on your left palm," Vince had a stunned look on his face. "It will heal eventually."

Sedah got his answer. "Were you fighting?"

Vince grinned and said, "Yes."

"Were they strong?" Sedah asked. Vince looked at his palm and said, "No, and please don't tell your mom about that."

Sedah nodded.

Sedah and Vince went to their rooms.

Vince started reminiscing, and maid Rena entered his room. "Would you like me to do anything?" Rena asked.

"Oh, Rena, you are a healer, right? This scar is not healing." Rena was a great healer, and she held Vince's hand and started rubbing it. After a while, the scar healed. "Do you know how you got that scar?" Rena asked, and Vince had an awkward face and didn't answer. "Okay, is there anything else that you want me to do?" Vince thought for a while and said, "Oh! Don't tell Alena about this scar."

Rena was still holding Vince's hand. "Do you know during the OA mission I was in your team?" She let go of Vince's hand. "Yeah, I do."

"You haven't answered my question yet." Vince now had a confused look on his face, and he had no idea what she was talking about. "What question?" Rena stood up. "Nevermind, you should rest," and her cheeks were red. "Do you have a fever? You should rest."

"Close your eyes," Rena said. "Why?" Vince made an annoying face. "Just close your eyes," she bowed.

Vince closed his eyes, and Rena started undressing. Vince asked out of confusion, "Why are you undressing!?"

Rena asked, "I told you to keep your eyes closed!"

But Vince didn't open his eyes. “Why are you doing this?”

“Open your eyes," Rena was standing in front of him, naked, but Vince refused to open his eyes.

Vince stood up from the bed and started heading out. "Sorry," Rena said while hugging Vince from behind. "Please give me the answer." Rena was holding Vince tightly, and Vince was able to feel Rena's breast, and he was able to hear her fast heartbeat.

"No." After hearing Vince's reply, Rena's heart shattered, sorrow was clearly visible on her face, and she was holding back all her feelings. "I am just a maid," Rena said and put on her dress and headed out of the room.

Vince had mixed feelings, fighting his own feelings. "I want to sleep now," and he slept.

Rena went to her room and changed her dress. She sat down at her desk and started reading a novel, but her mind was not there. The only thing that was going through her mind was 'No.' She became Alena's maid so she could see Vince every day, and she had a frown on her face.

"I am glad that I met you Vince"
