AURORA
Chapter:- 7
Losing Battle Is Raging
Vince, born into a very poor family, managed to rise to the position of a duke due to several reasons: his unwavering friendship and loyalty towards the king, as well as his own personal power.
In a dark woods, Vince found himself surrounded by Ryan and two girls. He addressed the girl with a caller, saying, "Hey, girl, what is your name?" She replied It has nothing to do with you; bring out your weapon." Vince chuckled, "Weapon? I don't need one."
Ryan, fueled by anger and a desire to prove himself, lunged forward with his sword, launching a series of attacks at Vince. Vince skillfully dodged them, saying, "You're not half bad. You should work on your techniques; you have potential. By the way, what's your age?" The other two girls joined the attack, one wielding a dagger and the other a scythe. Vince took a step back to dodge their attacks, saying, "Come on, just answer my question."
As all three attackers intensified their assault, Vince continued to dodge and block their attacks with grace and precision. Tension grew between them as the fight raged on, yet Vince remained unscathed. He taunted, "What a shame. I thought you were something, but sometimes things don't match your expectations."
Vince's confidence seemed unshakable as he gracefully parried and evaded their attacks under the moonlit canopy, which cast eerie shadows around them.
"Ryan, Kaori, Formation 2!" one of the girls commanded. Vince questioned, "Ah, Miss Captain, could you tell me -" Before he could finish, he had to take a large step back due to an unexpected coordinated attack from Ryan and the scythe-wielding girl, as if they were in perfect rhythm. Then, another unexpected series of attacks took him by surprise, and Vince found himself momentarily off balance because the captain girl threw her dagger at Vince's leg, Vince somehow managed to dodge scythe and sword, but a powerful punch struck him, sending him slamming into a nearby cliff side and causing the area to crack.

As Vince struggled to recover, the girl with the scythe leaped high, aiming to strike him down with lethal force. Both their hearts raced.
"Exactly. It seems I didn't overestimate you," Vince said. Fear was evident on Kaori's face as she tried to escape from the cliff's edge, but Vince grabbed her scythe. Suddenly, another punch came flying towards him. Kaori fell from the cliff as Vince released her hand to block the punch. They both tumbled off the cliff side, and their captain rushed toward them.
"Kaori! Thank God you're alright," she exclaimed with relief.
"I'm fine. Let's go after Ryan," Kaori replied. Determination and fierceness marked their expressions as they followed Ryan's lead.
Despite the overwhelming odds, Vince's agility and instincts proved unmatched, and the forest seemed to hold its breath.
The pause was brief as the three attackers regrouped. They felt a feeling that had eluded them for some time: fear. Despite their urge to run, memories of their past spurred them on, and they decided to finish this battle with their ultimate move.
Vince had sustained minor injuries, including a cut on his hand and ankle, and his palms were scratched and swollen. He grinned and said, "You managed to give me some scars. I'll give you another handicap. Go ahead and use your strongest magic." Ryan laughed confidently, "Giving us such a handicap, thinking you can counter it? I hope you've said goodbye to your loved ones." Vince, however, felt something he hadn't in a long time: amazement. He was amazed that opponents he considered weaker had given him such a hard time, awed by their coordination and, most importantly, their determination.
"Kinugara Hana!" said the captain. "Kinugara Hika!" "Kinugara Ron!" Ryan and Kaori said respectively. A giant, hot, beautiful, and fearsome white ball appeared in front of Vince. Once again Vince was amazed by them, He felt like he might actually die, but his heart didn't pound as it should.
Vince grinned and said, "Kengai, Ekal kuru."
