For much of its existence, humanity was at the top of the food chain. Humans were the predators; The beings which controlled the planet they inhabited. The Earth was theirs, after all. That was the undeniable truth for all people, an undisputed fact no one human would deny. But, it was not the truth. Not truly.In the cloak of night existed a threat, one that hunted humans. Monsters that could sustain themselves upon one thing and one thing only: The blood of humans. Without it, in no more than a month or two, they would become ravenous, unthinking beasts that could not be stopped by any lone human. And, when the existence of this hidden threat became public knowledge, for the first time, humanity was threatened by something other than itself. All of this culminated into one hundred years of war with the collective strength of humanity against the Vampiric bloodlust of their only predator. Humanity was not the victor.In this loss, humanity was poised to be naught but cattle. Livestock for these Vampires to feed upon, to turn these inferior humans into something more, something better. Centuries of this hell. Centuries of forever being threatened with extinction. However, there were those who wished to change things, and who had the willpower to back it up. A home for Humanity once more. It was called, "Sanctuary". In Central City, where the majority of Sanctuary's inhabitants lived, a woman named Rosa had just recently graduated from the Military Academy, a new soldier against the threat of Vampires. She does all of this to protect their Sanctuary, to gain the attention and love of her mother, and to perhaps one day take back the Earth for Humanity. After all, Vampires are not people.They are Monsters. -- A story revolving around War, Love, and Blood. Expect high-stake battles, somewhat absurd abilities, tragic lesbians, and psychological torment.
