“My head hurts.”

Sylver woke up in a small white room. Still feeling dizzy he looked around, trying to remember how he ended up here. But he barely remembers anything after fainting.

‘What is this warm sensation’ he looked at his surroundings. And found two sleeping girl on his sides.

The person on the right side is someone Sylver knew for years. It’s his childhood friend with pink long hair and cute face. For some reason she currently using Sylver right arm as pillow.

On his left side is an unknown girl doing the same thing with his left arm. He observed the beauty . She has a braided blue hair and a cute mature look in her face, at least more mature than Anna.

‘I better get up quickly’ thought Sylver.

Feeling that this could be troublesome to explain when they woke up. Sylver carefully released his arms and got up from the bed.

“Come on, don’t you want to do it? Not everyday you end up in a bed with two extremely beautiful girl.” a little girl voice came from the only door in the white room. From there, a young girl enter.

Sylver knew very well this young girl. She is Lyka, Sylver guardian angel, or at least that is her title. Most of her work is just delivering the gods request and sometimes check on them. She looks like a girl around 14 years-old with golden hair and golden eyes.

“Nah, more trouble than it worth. Putting aside the bad jokes, care to explain everything?

Lyka snaps her finger while smiling, suddenly a table with four chair appeared out of thin air. She sit on one end and Sylver on the opposite.

“You still don’t want to do it? If you want I can even join.”

“No.”

“How about I pr…”

“No and no.”

“I’m assure you th…”

“You know what happen when I’m take a walk around let’s say….. New York? Or Tokyo?”

Lyka most important task is to ensure Sylver stayed off from human settlement unless it’s a request. Even compared to Anna, Sylver aura is much more fear-inducing and nightmare-producing.

“I give up.” Lyka raised her hands. ”Now, let’s talk about the mission. I’m sorry to kidnap you through ‘Ark’ Soul reader, but this mission will be the most secretive and dangerous. For that reason it will be carried by a team of four including you.”

“But I can still enjoy the game right?” Sylver focusing his white and black eyes on Lyka.

“O-o-oof course you can.” Lyka shuddered, even though Athanatos intimidation aura did not work on VR space, Sylver is stil a master intimidator.”N-nnnow I-i-I will explain the first part of the mission. But before that I have to explain it again to them.” Lyka point her finger to the duo that has woke up.

“Muuunnyaah, where am i?” Anna yawned.

“Hoahm, how did I end up here?” The blue girl also yawned.

Sylver who watched them could not help but think they are cute. While Lyka just smile gleefully at Sylver.

“Regretted it?”

“Not a chance.”

“You never saw me woke up did you?”

“Not interested.”

“What a shame. Anyway, welcome to ‘Progress’ Anna and Aqua. Since all of you has wake up, how about we introduce ourselves.” Lyka suggested. “First is me. My name is Lyka, Sylver guardian angel and I’m the one who brought you here.”

“Add ‘short and pervert to that’.” Sylver said.

“How mean, even though we always do those kind of thing to…”

“Anna, how about a trip to Russia?” Sylver asked Anna.

“Okay, okay I will stop.” Lyka shudders remembering Sylver aura.

“Anyway, let’s continue. The next will be Anna.”

“Hi! My name is Anna Rosemary Ruse. By the way Lyka, what do you mean by those kind of thing?”

Sylver facepalmed and sighed while the blue haired girl blushed and Lyka smile.

“So you want to know..” Lyka gave a devil smile.

“Let’s continue with the introduction.” Sylver continued “My name is Sylver Arachnid Ruse. Although we have same surname, me and Anna are not blood-related.”

After Sylver ended his very-short introduction, everyone looked at Aqua.

“A-ah, yes. My name is Aqua. An Athanatos too.” She introduced herself with a shy voice.

The room silence.

“Lyyyyyka, how about an explanation?” Sylver smiled at Lyka, only made her shudder even more.

“Ha-ha-ha, i-i-it a-actually a f-funny story y-you see. She was just ‘born’ two years ago. We wanted to tell you but we just forget.” Lyka knew she will be in danger.

“Oooh, I see. So the angels who told me to go ‘one man army’ almost every month just forgot to tell a very important things.” Sylver glared are Lyka with his weird eyes.

His eyes is very weird as it has two colours, black on the left one and grayish white on his right.

“Okay, okay. I’m very sorry, huhuhu. I can’t sleep tonight with those eyes glaring.” Lyka cried at spot. Even angel could not stand Sylver powerful intimidation.

“Boo!” said Anna.

Lyka faints.

“Ah. Sorry~. Hehehe ” Anna giggled.

While Anna tried to woke up Lyka. Sylver and Aqua had many conversation about Aqua's life. She said that she lived in a small house in Alaska. She has the trait of an Athanatos which is weird soul and weird hair colors. Although the conversation is hard because of Aqua shy personality, with more time spent she started to became more friendlier, although only to Anna and Lyka.

When Sylver tried to be friendly. Aqua hid behind Anna.

Sylver sighed, as he just scared one more person in his life and happen to be the same race.

“Hey, because we already spent too much time here how about we get started?” Lyka who has just woke up asked.

“Wait! You still hasn’t explain the mission.” Anna said.

“Oh yes, it’s simple. For the first part is to go visit [Alaianaum] The forgotten city of Surast. It’s quite far and we can’t get out of starting cities for a week. So just focus on getting stronger!” Lyka smiled at Sylver while still shuddering.

“Wait, you keep saying ‘us’. Don’t say the team of four is…..”

“Yes, it’s us. You’re quite slow are you?”Lyka gave a teasing smile.

Suddenly nightmarish aura filled the room. Even though the room is in virtual reality space. The aura is very powerfull and the three girls started crying.

“NONONONONONONONO.” Aqua hid her head with her hands with a trauma expression.

“UWAHHHHH” Anna cried.

“God please help me!” The Angel desperately praying.

The aura vanished instantly, only left an angry young man and three crying young girls.

“I’m sorry, I was just joking.” Sylver has a guilty expression.

“””That was not funny!””” The crying trio rebukes.

“Lying to me is also not funny, so we even,” Sylver back to his usual smiling expression. “Now how about we hop in to the game?”

‘Don’t be fooled. This person here is a demon.’ The girls tried to remembered not to trigger the demon rage button.

“One more thing before we in. The game world is sill in development and a massive change is rumored to be happen, so just in case I put a tracking devices on everyone so we can confirm each other location. And also we will started on the same city.” Lyka explained.

“Yes!” Anna replied.

“If you want to.” Sylver lazily answer,

“I-I’m also didn’t mind.” Aqua nodded.

With a smile(still a little bit shuddering) Lyka snap her fingers.

The room disappear and revealing a blue and green planet.

‘Earth.’

A holy and powerful voice spoke to them.

“Hail adventurers. What is your name?”
