Walking up the front steps and opening the intricate door Lui Wing scrunched up his nose as a waft of pungent smell came and assaulted him.

Walking into the building, Lui Wing looked for the scent; on the first floor, in the corner, there was a small pile of left-out food rotting. After the older man passed, the original Lui Wing forgot about the waste.

Lui Wing frowned and held his breath for a bit. Then, cleaning off some dust from a nearby table, he placed the portrait down.

Suddenly, a cold mechanical voice emerged in Lui Wing's mind.

[Ding!]

[A suitable soul has been detected within the designated target range. Performing the contract to the host ....]

An electric sensation came on him like he had been struck down by lightning. Falling to the floor, Lui Wing's body twitched as he shouted out.

"Arrrrgh!"

[Contract with the host has been completed. Adding the host to the System….]

[Adding has been completed…The System is ready to launch….]

"System…Huh?"

Lui Wing paused on the floor, breathing hard. Then, excitement showed in his eyes as his lips twitched into a smile. As a Technology geek, Lui Wing would spend all his days "researching" different systems modes. He was familiar with systems, for he read books about them.

Pleasantly getting up off the floor with a calm mind, Lui Wing shook out the last of the pain that the contract with the System gave and began to navigate this System's functions immediately.

Pulling a light blue screen up in front of him with his mind, there was a message in the middle of the translucent box.

[I am the Super Evolutionary System, dedicated to cultivating the strongest evolutionary path in the world, and the message of this system is: helping everything cultivate and evolve!]

"This is an evolutionary cultivation system?!" Lui Wing exclaimed in astonishment; the corner of his eyes twitched. "What is with that line?" Lui never would have guessed that this System could be cringey.

Under the message was a red and gold envelope that said welcoming gift. Clicking the envelope icon, a magic wheel popped in front of him. The System's wheel was slightly over three meters tall, with a high trim, golden engravings that depicted ancient scenes from legends, and vibrant red accent colors.

Above the wheel was a flashing box saying one free spin. Mumbling to himself, Lui Wing touched the wheel and swiped one of his hands on top of the screen, making the wheel start moving.

As the wheel was spinning, chimes of music and drums echoed in his ears. Then, when the revolution started to slow down, it began to shake. Once the wheel stopped, a bright golden light began to shine, and a loud beast roar resounded throughout the room. Covering up his eyes with one of his arms, Lui Wing shivered at a warm heavy pressure creasing his heart.

Only when the pressure faded from his body did he look at where the wheel was, but it wasn't there, and in its place was a giant three-legged toad with four ruby-encrusted eyes. It was sitting on a pile of ancient gold coins that looked like it had a small square hole in the center of them.

The coins were held in a humongous archaic, golden, ornate, nine-tripod cauldron. Dragons were carved all around it, and if one looked closely, they would see dragons flying through the sky around the mountains on it.

The mountainous fifty-meter toad looked down at Lui Wing from his royal pedestal and snorted at the gobsmacked open-mouth tiny human. Then, moving his head closer to the human who spun the wheel, Jin Chan flared up his nostrils, making a thick humid fog on the human male's face causing his hair to stand up, looking like he was electrocuted.

Blinking up at the toad's face in front, Lui Wing finally closed his mouth and whipped the snot film off his face with his long sleeve, and quickly did a bow in front of this creature. He did not move until permission; his senses told him the beast in front was a calamity rank creature.

A rough voice entered his mind, "rise, skinny one."

Having permission from the toad, Lui Wing stood up again, and when the toad moved, he saw a hint of seven diamonds on the toad's back. In the mouth of the beast was a unique coin different from the rest; it had a ruby in the center.

Cupping his hands, he said, "Greetings, senior."

Looking at the human, Jin Chan said nothing but a grunt and waved his front left hand in a shooing motion to make the man back up. Once he did, Jin Can stuck out his tongue with the jeweled coin on it so that the tiny human could touch it.

"Touch the coin, boy." Lui Wing flinched when he heard the voice again in his head. Hearing a harsh chuckle then, Lui Wing hesitantly reaches toward the coin in the beast's open maw and slowly touches the ruby coin.

A Small red and gold silk bag came out of the coin and hovered up and down. Jin Chan rolled his eyes when the human stared at the bag in wonder. Then, sighing, Jin Chan pushed his essence into the weak human's mind that had no barriers in place for protection and said, "Take the bag; it's your reward from the wheel; it's not going to eat you."

"Oh." Lui Wing mumbled while blushing. Then, taking the hovering silk bag in one of his hands, Lui wing stepped back.

Jin hastily retracted his tongue and the unique coin back into his mouth. Then, without saying a word, Jin Chan circulated his essence skill [Realm Fog], a cloud of smoke that came out of his nostrils and covered the entire area in a blanket of mist. Finally, activating his Cultivation technique, did Jin Chan begin to shrink into his cauldron.

Lui Wing watched as the giant calamity rank beast shrunk into an ordinary hand-sized golden toad in his tiny cauldron. Then, with a final croak, a little lid popped on top of the cauldron and disappeared into the mist.
