[Adis] Looks like the g rankers have adapted to the dungeon pretty well huh?
Today, Adis and his party was diving deeper into the dungeon, collecting some spare materials as they went. They passed a good number of g rankers, considering how they were only let in a week ago.
[Paul] News got out pretty quickly that it's pretty safe, all things considered. Honestly it's probably safer than actually going into a forest to try to harvert herbs.
[Carolyn] Not to mention there were already a good amount of people that have water affinity races already living here, so the pond levels are practically easy picking.
[Vara] It's certainly good for adventurers at any rate. The a good number of these groups hire a couple of adventurers to be guards whenever they dive. It's easy money, even if it doesn't pay that well.
[Adis] I'm surprised that they are that eager, given the incident that happened just before they were let in.
[Vara] Well, it's a different floor after all. Nothing that dangerous is supposed to be on these floors, and so far nothing has gone wrong.
[Carolyn] By the way, did you guys hear? Fels is all better and stronger than ever. Sounds like Kilian's team will be diving again soon.
[Vara] Kilian's group huh. Fels and Icas seem alright but Kilian is too... single minded I guess?
[Adis] He seems alright to me? There's nothing wrong with being dedicated and wanting to get stronger right?
[Vara] Ha. You would think being so single minded is a good thing.
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
[Adis] Hey what's that supposed to mean?
[Vara] I'm a dark elf. You know that I can see you training out back no matter how dark it gets at night right?
[Paul] Not to mention I'm up at the break of dawn and will run into you more often than not.
[Adis] Hey. What's wrong with practicing? I'm not talented like you guys ok?
[Vara] We're just evolved and using our race's advantages. You'd catch up and probably start surpass us in some years. Humans absorb mana faster and even if they didn't, you'd catch up purely by practice alone.
[Carolyn] It's kinda boring to just practice though. Everyone should come play sea volley sometimes! It's good practice and it's fun.
[Adis] Haha we're not all as good at manipulating water as you. It wouldn't be bad to spend a day or two taking a break though.
[Carolyn] We could head to the lake instead of the aquatic center too. I bet it's less crowded.
[Vara] Oh that sounds fun. I haven't been on a beach in quite a few years. It's always been busy this and that.
[Paul] Hm. A day or two off would be nice. I could catch up on reviewing a few articles I'm writing.
[Adis] Alright. It's decided then. Let's take a few days off after this, success or not.
[Carolyn] Hey! Don't say that. Of course it's going to be a success.
[Vara] I usually don't like to be too optimistic but we are fairly well prepared. At the least we shouldn't get too injured.
[Paul] The other teams have reported running into it too, although most of them retreated soon after.
[Adis] Un. Well then. Final equipment checks everybody. Let's see if we can't find him, the king of the inverted forest floor.

Fuuu
Equipment, check. Potions, check. Landscape....
I look around and despite some shrubs, the landscape was mostly plains and small hills. Nothing we could use to for a trap. We knew this of course, since we've scouted out the area. Most of the serious parties have. That doesn't mean we don't have plans though. Lucky for us Vara has a hell of a mind for things like this.
[Paul] Hey! I've found him. He's grazing a bit past the border of the grassy and the snowy area.
[Vara] Hm. If it's choosing to be in the snow then it can probably move pretty well in it. Better than us at least. It's best if we go with the original plan and lure him out here where we wont be hindered by the snow.
[Adis] Got it. Let's start preparing. Make sure to keep your mana topped off after we're done.
