18th of Capricornian. Unknown Territory. Goblin/Kobold Village. 10:00 of morning.
Masha and her team has arrived to their next destination. Unlike earlier, she ordered a direct attack. By this point, the troops remove suppressors on their guns.
Masha: Weapons free. No survivors allowed.
Everyone: Copy that, comrade Captain.
And so the group begin their massacre on both Kobolds and Goblins. The tanks fired their shells on houses while their machine guns fired on Goblins trying to run away. Maria were throwing grenades in hopes to root out those hiding, specially Kobold children. Once they were out of hiding, she shot them.
Goblin: Hey!!! What did we do *dies*
Kobold: Please spare us *dies*
The rest whom try to surrendered wasn't spared as well. The group remembered one important rule in their doctrine. Do not accept enemy surrender or risk of caught in sudden attack. This harsh, but "practical" rule of the LPA and PPG allowed them to ensure "zero casualty" risk. But it also mean that no redemption will be given. Let alone the LPA and PPG would allow themselves to be held captive. By the time the killing went quieting down, they start looting for anything that can be used. Those that are not valuable are burned together with the corpse. They found mostly of its weapons like sword, knife, spear and etc. They were some gold coins found.
Masha: Sweep the area. Search were they held the captives.
Everyone: Yes, Comrade Captain.
It wasn't long until they found a small group of slaves. This time it was unusual. They have a thin, clear-looking wings and antennas on their heads. Maria figured these were Fairopian Citizens that went missing. She doesn't know what happened to them but aware that their country would freak out by this news.
Maria: Calm down. We're here to save you.
Fairopian Captives: Thank you!!!
Meanwhile, Masha found a human mage badly bleeding. Its clothing were long robe with hood, and has a symbol belonging to his country. The Khaistan Empire.
Mage: *cough* Who... who are you. What kind of monster you were?
Masha: And what is a human doing here? Are you captive?
Mage: Captive? No. I'm here to buy those Fairy slaves.
Masha: That wasn't heroic of you, adventurer.
The mage couldn't talk back due to succumbing to his death. Then calls another extraction ride.
Masha: Command. This is Jackfruit 1. We found another batch of captives... and uh.. Pretty unusual too.
This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it.
Command: How's that unusual?
Masha: Fairopians. Over.
Command: Whoops. Fairopia would freak out by this. Anything else?
Masha: Apparently we've stop a slave trader by accident. The captives were try to sold to some Khaistan Mage.
Command: Oh. Where's the mage?
Masha: Died from wounds. I think its from the tank shells.
Command: Copy. A chopper is sent to pick up the Fairopians. And don't forget to rest.
Masha: Copy that. We'll keep in mind.
The chopper arrived 30 minutes later. Luckily, the group managed to feed, provide bath and patch up their injuries. The Fairopians were at first confused about mixed species saving them, but eventually figured they were from Lolilandia. After all, aside from Elflandia and Amazonia, Fairopia is one of the countries that knew about Lolilandia's Victory and Independence from an Alien Invasion. And is also one of its trading partner and ally since Ancient times. Meanwhile.
Fairopian Embassy. Serdtsenograd. Lolilandia. 10:30 of morning.
Fairopian Ambassador: Huh? You found some of our missing citizens? Thank Cinnamonia. Our Queen is worried sick. How can we pay you?
FM Tsapkala: No need. Well.. actually, if you have 400 Fairopian Gold we can provide education and job for them. Deal?
Fairopian Ambassador: Wait? Education and Job for just that amount?
FM Tsapkala: Yep. 400 Fairopian Gold is enough to help your missing citizens to complete their lost School time and find good work. Either back home or here. They will also have accommodations and benefits too.
Fairopian Ambassador: But for you to provide them these for that amount. Shouldn't be higher than that?
FM Tsapkala: Nah. Its fine. Also those gold are for them to serve as... starters to.. buy whatever they need.
Fairopian Ambassador: I see. Its for them not your Soldiers. Still thank you. Goodbye.
FM Tsapkala: Thanks as well. Have a great day.
The news eventually reached to the Fairopian Queen whom both angry, for the fact that someone tried to enslave them, and happy, for having the Lolilandic Soldiers saving them. The Queen is even more happy about the deal their Ambassador just agreed on.
Fairopian Queen: 400 Fairopian Gold for them? Why?
Fairopian Ambassador: I believe its probably for their allowance or something.
Fairopian Queen: I see. So they'll just have to buy food with that amount eh.
Fairopian Ambassador: Yes. They'll handle the education for them until jobs are avail for them to work in. Either here or there.
Fairopian Princess: Woah. Seriously?
Fairopian Ambassador: Yes.
Fairopian Princess: So much pampering eh.
Fairopian Queen: And that will benefit for the long run. You see my Daughter, the Lolilandics teaches us to properly value our workers. By providing them basic needs, accommodations and other kinds of rewards they'll get motivated to work more without risking to revolt nor protest.
Fairopian Princess: I see. No wonder why their economy is too strong. They just have to offer their workers what they want and they'll work at their best. Sounds like a good economic investment.
Fairopians: *Chattering noises*
Back to the Special Force Group. They decided to call a day and rest at the village they just "cleaned" right after the chopper picked up the Fairopian captives. They spend a whole day of rest and luckily, no one arrived to disturb them.
19th of Capricornian. Occupied Village. 07:00 of morning.
Another morning was come. The group finally got the full rest they deserved, unlike yesterday which is just a short nap. The energy recovery was better. She saw her comrades cooking their breakfast with their rations, others are checking out their Digipods for news. Masha decide to check out her own as well. Coincidentally, it was the Premier of the People's Federal Republic having a speech. The said speech references to the slaves found by several Main Ground Divisions involved in the War against Orcopia recently. Including the ones found from the Imperial Orc Palace by the 212th Assault Mechanized Corps. The speech ends with a loud applause which followed suit by the group, and Masha herself as well. Then the Command contact them, telling their next destination. This time it was going further North. One of which is in a desert.
Masha: Choppers here. Board in, Comrades.
The Choppers flies off towards said location. Another round of rescue to begin.
Masha: Yep. We owe you two for this discovery. And for giving us work to do. Finally.
Maria: You seem happy, Comrade Captain.
Masha: Nothing important. I just found our Comrades responsible for.... saving me from almost "bored-to-death" situation hehe.
Maria: You mean the Suvorova sisters? I heard they have a tough time there.
Masha: Indeed they were. Imagine how hard to escort the captives on Ground while under constant threat from suicidal Orcs that could charge them?
Maria: Hoping no one ends up like they were. Pretty stressful I say.
Masha: Surely it won't happened again. But for real when this is over I will ask the Command for transfer.
Maria: Well. Wish luck then. Comrade Captain.
Masha: Thanks, Lieutenant.
And so the Special Rescue Campaign Continues.
To be continue.
