"Oracle Freya, are you serious?" one of the beings that came in with Freya asked in a tone of disbelief.
The one who spoke was dressed in a black robe that covered everything, even the person's head had a hood on it, but that much was normal, what made them seem inhuman was the fact that you could only see three bright white flames that served as it's two eyes and a mouth. The persons voice was a clear giveaway of their gender though, being soft and noticeably feminine.
Freya pouted, "When have I ever not been serious, I'm the most serious person on Reles."
The person who asked let out a dry laugh and turned to look to the others for help, but they all turned their heads, refusing to open that can of worms.
"Alright, alright it's true, thats what the system told me and I see no reason for the system to lie, no matter how absurd it may seem, it seems to be the answer to your question." Freya decided to do her job.
Malachi seemed to want to ask more, but Freya raised her hand as if knowing what he would ask.
"After all the destruction that your ancestors caused to the planet, they were almost extinct, so the system sent the last thousand or so to an unawakened planet called earth along with a few summoning points to call them back when they finished their penance for what they'd done. Well, it was a good idea but over the years the same thing happened multiple times over, even without magic, so the system decided that the prime human's penance would be indefinite. Your ancestors even used the other summoning points as magical power banks to harness what they had lost causing there to only be one summoning point left standing hidden as a monument at your school, fun fact it is also the reason for your school name. This would also explain the missing bits of information for certain eras in your history. Pretty neat right?"
All of the students thought of the massive monolith that stood before the entrance of Greywall auditorium and also the name of their school, Blackstone High.
'Your definition of neat is super fucked, alien lady!' Kyle screamed internally, but remained thoughtful. Humans are a destructive race, even if he were to name the most important moments of discovery and growth, he would no doubt be naming numerous atrocities in the same sentence. The more he heard about the system though, the more he found it to be like a very doting mother trying to keep her young on the good side of society, and that, in his opinion was a great thing.
After another moment of brief shock and silence Freya remained smiling energetically and spoke. "Now with that out of the way, why don't we see what your starting lines are so we can plan your paths to greatness, and destruction if you're anything like your ancestors." she finished and motion towards the white crystal that she'd taken out earlier.
"This is an awakening crystal, most people on Reles go through the awakening ceremony at the age of 16, but that doesn't mean that they can't do so after the age of 16. The reason why 16 is the starting point is because that is when children are considered to be stepping into adulthood and choosing their career path. I understand that you had something similar on earth? Of course without the magical aspect, so who's first." She looked over the crowd.
Kyle didn't even have to think about what was going to happen next.
"ME! PICK ME! I WANNA GO!" Ethan all but flew to Freya and the crystal, not showing any nervousness making Kyle, Malachi and Haji palm their faces. Only Dami seemed disappointed that he wasn't fast enough.
"Thats the spirit! Come on!" Freya gave him a thumbs up. "Just place your hand on the crystal and meditate, the crystal will handle the rest and you'll know when its done its job as soon as you open your eyes." Ethan gave a nod and did as he was told.
Everyone stared in silence as Ethan meditated for about ten seconds before the crystal flashed with light and Ethan's body gave off a faint shimmering light for about ten more seconds before everything returned to stillness. Ethans eyes slowly opened and he flexed his muscles a bit before suddenly looking straight ahead with unfocused eyes, as if daydreaming, much like Freya had done earlier.
"Ethan! Say something asshole!" Haji called out in nervousness after seeing how Ethan was acting.
"Huh, what are you yelling for man?" Ethan answered with the same goofy smile he always wore, making everyone breathe a sigh of relief.
"How are you feeling Ethan?" Malachi asked while holding Dami back, who seemed to want to bite him to get to the crystal.
"I don't how to explain it...give me your best synonym for awesome." He replied with a grin. "Watch this!" After saying that he squatted and did a vertical jump, leaping almost 3 meters from the ground before landing effortlessly, leaving Kyle and the rest slack jawed and Freya and company smiling.

"Ethan would you tell us what your job, skills, and highest affinities are and their grades?" Freya asked, while everyone else perked up, curious as to where his specialties lie.
"Sure." Ethan had no qualms about sharing them, it wasn't like it'd do him any good to keep it to himself without any knowledge on how to use it, so he said them aloud. "My job is Apprentice Warrior, I have a passive skill called Prime Blood, three active skills called Earth Magic, Shield Master, and Light magic, and my highest affinities are Light and Earth at S Grade. The rest are D grade or below."
Kyle didn't know what most of that meant, but judging by how shocked the faces of Freya's entourage were he could pretty much guess that it was more of a good thing than a bad thing. The Dwarf looking man that came with them even looked as if he saw his own child as he looked at Ethan, along with the Angel like being who was far too beautiful to be making such an expression.
"Hey kid, follow me and I'll teach you how to use earth as easy as breathing, no matter who you fight they won't be able to lay a finger on you and even if they do, it won't even tickle you." The dwarf like man said while rubbing his hands together and smiling like a weird uncle, causing Ethan to step back in terror.
"Hmph, you don't need such a barbaric magic or teacher, follow me and you'll be able to learn to move at the speed of light, go invisible, and create illusions, a far better choice than to be dimwitted and as slow as a snail." The Angel snorted at the dwarf and said while smiling at Ethan.
"Who the hell are you calling dimwitted, powder face!?" The dwarf growled back, a long handled hammer appearing out of nowhere as he turned toward the angel. "Don't let her smile fool you boy, this hag is almost 2000 years old." He continued, angering the angel whose expression turned malevolent at his words.
"You tiny bastard! Who are you calling a hag!?" She howled back as a long spear appeared in her hand and pointed at the dwarf, who reacted as if he hadn't heard her question, using his pinky finger to pick his ear.
"Don't like it? Do something about it." The two got into a battle stance, about to wage war against each other until the sound of a clap broke through the tension.
"From where I stand, it seems like two foreign diplomats want to engage in an unsanctioned battle in the heart of the neutral area, completely disregarding the rules set by the prime system itself. So tell me, how should this be handled with the least bloodshed?" Freya spoke in a frigid tone, her first time being completely serious all day.
The angel and the dwarf snapped out of it and became pale in an instant, and without saying a word they performed the exact same movements as if they had rehearsed it every day of their lives. They turned to Freya, bowed ninety degrees and said the same thing loudly with their foreheads dripping sweat.
"I apologize for my insolence, Oracle Freya."x2
The tower was shrouded in silence as they kept their heads bowed, refusing to lift them until Freya gave the go ahead.
"Rise. Do not make the same mistake twice." Freya spoke in the same frigid tone as she turned to the rest of the diplomats. "There will be a time for solicitation, and it will be done in a way that ensures the growth of the summoned Prime Humans, not in a way to ensure the growth of your own military strength. Some of your countries may even have to work together to train the same person, that is what you agreed to. Do I make myself clear?"
"YES, ORACLE!" The responded in a unified voice. Freya nodded and looked back to the students as her fierce visage faded back into her playful smile.
"Now, let's get back to the awakening ceremony." She spoke and everyone nodded, with Dami rushing forward not unlike Ethan had done before. Kyle's mind was elsewhere though.
'MOMMY' he basically had hearts in his eyes. 'I like a woman who knows how to take control, the angel lady is supposedly 2000 years old, maybe Freya is even older, but...WHO CARES! Even better in fact, experience is always a plus, I'd rather aim higher than lower...' Kyle would consider himself a man of culture.
As he was lost in his thoughts the rest of the guys had already gone up and Ethan patted him on the back, as he looked up, Ethan the the guys were all holding in laughs while most people were staring at him as if since the rest of his friends had gone, it was now his turn.
So there he was, caught staring at Freya who was looking at him with a smirk, while everyone else was staring at him.
"Go on, tell me how beautiful you think I am and I'll take you out to dinner later." Freya said in her usual playful tone, expecting him to be embarrassed, well, she didn't know Kyle.
"Oracle Freya, you are the most beautiful woman that I've seen in my entire life and I can't wait to get to know you more over dinner." Kyle spoke as he made his way over to the crystal and looked at Freya once he was there, and although she looked surprised, she didn't look flustered as she smiled and let out a light chuckle.
"Ok, you got me, I'll find you later." She responded.
Kyle smiled and placed his hand on the crystal before closing his eyes and meditating. He took slow, deep breaths as he rested his hand on the crystal, not feeling much at first, until he felt warmth run through his arm and the rest of his body. Kyle understood why it was called an awakening, he couldn't find a better word for it even if he tried. He felt his thoughts become more unified and his control over his body increase along with a peculiar sense of flexibility in his limbs, his left arm also felt as under his control as his right. Not feeling anymore changes, he opened his eyes. He moved his body a bit and then stared at the screen that appeared in front of him.
