The Primordial Dragon Temple
As I sat at the center of the naming ritual array, my grandmother began to teach me how to advance into the heaven realm. Her explanation resonated deeply within me, and I summarized it in my mind. When the array activated, tremendous energy from the treasures would be absorbed into my body, triggering the primordial blood essence to gather within my soul. This would generate a powerful energy known as primordial soul energy. By combining this soul energy with the energy of the treasures, I would form a core within my soul. As the core took shape, the naming array would generate a name suitable for my soul. Once the name was revealed, my core would be fully formed. The energies from the void would then be absorbed, creating an inner world within my core.
This inner world would be unique to me. While some divine beasts are born with their own inner worlds, mine would be different; I could form a heavenly Dao within it, something they could not achieve. For this reason, I had waited until now for the naming ritual; otherwise, my inner world would have been akin to that of the divine beasts.
Grandma's POV
As I watched my little one sitting inside the array, I began injecting energy to activate it. Today was a momentous day in my life, as my granddaughter was about to receive her name. I was overwhelmed with happiness, a feeling I could hardly express. My mind drifted back to the time when she first arrived, filling my once-monotone life with vibrant colors. Her love and care healed my wounded heart from past battles.
I longed to spoil her, to let her do as she pleased, but I had to be strict. The outside world is dangerous and cruel. If she were a little lazy, I might have allowed her to be, as there was no immediate urgency for her to cultivate. However, she was eager to explore the world and had a mission to complete, which is why I had to train her.
Suddenly, I was brought back to the present as the process of my granddaughter's core formation reached a critical point. Just as I anticipated a name would resonate throughout the world, her soul core began to spiral out of control, absorbing void energy from the temple. My eyes widened at the phenomenon unfolding before me; I immediately recognized the problem. The lack of void energy indicated that my granddaughter was so talented that the world she was creating would be of a very high level.
Realizing the seriousness of the situation, I made an immediate decision. I began injecting my own primordial soul energy into the array while instructing the temple to gather void energy. My soul body became less solid, but I continued my injection of soul energy. Finally, a name resounded throughout the dungeon, causing all living creatures to tremble in fear. If not for the dungeon's barriers, the entire world outside would have echoed with her name.
" " POV
I had almost completed the formation of my primordial soul core and was absorbing void energy to create my inner world. However, something went awry; it felt as if the void energy I had collected was insufficient. I could form a world, but my soul sensed a lingering dissatisfaction, as if the world being created did not match my being. Subconsciously, I began absorbing energy from a new source—the Legacy Dragon Temple. I knew the temple was connected to the void, gathering energies to sustain the dungeon. Just as I pondered a solution for the primordial soul energy, a pure and powerful primordial soul energy surged toward me, immersing me once again in the core formation process.
As the formation neared completion, I sensed something was about to emerge from my soul. When the formation was finally complete, I saw my name written deep within my soul:
"Anna Drakaras Borealith."
With my name came a transformation; my 20-meter tall body disintegrated into energy particles, reforming into a 2-meter humanoid form. My scales transformed into threads, woven with primordial energy, creating a dress for me. I knew I could change my form at will in the future, but this initial transformation would serve as the foundation.

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I did was search for my grandmother. I understood the source of the soul energy, but when I saw her, my heart sank. I rushed toward her, tears streaming down my face, realizing I had hurt her. Unaccustomed to walking on two legs, I stumbled and fell flat on my face. Undeterred, I stood up and made my way to her, desperate to give her soul energy to prevent her from disappearing. I fell again, and my grandmother burst into laughter, which only deepened my sadness and anger.
"Why did you do this? You knew I would have formed a world anyway! Why would you do this? What will happen to you? What will I do without you if you leave me?" I cried out, my voice filled with desperation.
She laughed even harder, her joy contrasting with my turmoil. "Brat, do you want me to die so early? Hahaha!"
I was baffled by her response. Shouldn't she be more serious in such a moment? Seeing my confusion, she made a funny face, trying to lighten the mood. "Oh, my dear little Anna, that bit of energy can't kill me. I just need to cultivate it again. Did you really think I would die because of it?"
Her words left me speechless, but relief washed over me knowing she would not leave me.
"But there is one problem," she said, her tone shifting to seriousness, making me nervous.
"What problem?" I asked, my heart racing.
"You know that your void energy came from the temple, right? Well, you've completely drained its energy reserves to keep it open and maintain the dungeon. The temple will need to be sealed for a time to allow for maintenance," she explained.
"What? Then what will happen to you?" I asked, worry creeping into my voice.
"I will begin cultivating my soul energy and reconstruct my body. We won't be able to meet again until you undo the seal of the temple, which will happen when you advance to the Dao realm." My grandmother's expression mirrored my sadness at our impending separation, but she continued to guide me.
"Now, what you must do is complete the dungeon. The next floors will not involve fighting monsters. The 50th floor is special; I left a clone of myself there. It doesn't have consciousness but will teach you what you need to know. To progress to the next floor, you must satisfy her conditions." As she spoke, I sensed a mischievous smile flicker across her face before it vanished, replaced by seriousness.
"From floors 50 to 60, you will learn alchemy and medicine—how to create pills and potions. From floors 61 to 70, you will study formations and arrays, facing trials along the way. Floors 71 to 80 will focus on artifact forging. From floors 81 to 85, you will engage in cultural and artistic activities like calligraphy, painting, music, and poetry, which help cultivators maintain a balanced and harmonious state of mind. While you may not think you need it, you must learn it."
"From floors 86 to 99, you will explore the outside world's cultivation methods and techniques, such as beast taming, music cultivation, Confucian cultivation, Tao cultivation, soul cultivation, curse cultivation, and demonic cultivation. You will fight and learn about these methods, which will be invaluable when you venture outside. Finally, on the 100th floor, you will find the dungeon core, which will automatically assimilate into your inner world. You can then use the dungeon as you wish, as it contains primordial energy, allowing you to cultivate unlimited primordial resources that are rare outside."
Grandma took a deep breath, her expression tinged with sadness. "Now, brat, it seems it's time."
I rushed to hug her, even in my soul form, and said resolutely, "Don't worry, Grandma. You cultivate with peace of mind. I will work hard and advance to the Dao realm as soon as possible."
"Take your time; there's no hurry. I love you, dear Anna. Take care of yourself and promise me you won't let anyone bully you outside for keeping a low profile. We don't need to fear anything; just destroy what's in your way," she said, her loving gaze steady.
"I promise, Grandma. I will never be bullied because I will be the strongest." My eyes shone with determination as I made the vow.
Grandma handed me a ring similar to her own, saying, "This is a special spatial ring with our family's crest. If any primordial sees it outside, they will obey your instructions. This ring is also connected to our family treasure house, allowing you to access anything you need. Additionally, I've created an artifact house for you to use."
"Thank you, Grandma! I love you so much. Thanks for everything, and please take care of yourself," I said, my heart full of gratitude.
As soon as I finished speaking, I was ejected from the temple and found myself on the 49th floor of the dungeon. The temple had vanished, but I knew it had merely changed locations. I felt a pang of sadness at the absence of my grandmother and the dragon statues, but I steeled myself as I made my way toward the 50th floor, where my grandmother's clone awaited
