Chapter 3 Red Fire Tribe
"For fucks sake somebody bring Timothy to the infirmary and you Sanon I want to talk to you in private" Derrick said with an annoyed face
"Alright" Sanon replied
Sanon got up and walked toward Derrick: "so what's up?"
"Well you just destroyed your strength talisman,congratulations"
"How?"
"Those red markings that appeared on your face were like a hell Mary form the strength talisman"
"What do you mean?"
"Well strength talismans have a unique attribute which is called berserk, you can only use it when your mind thinks your in true danger but at the cost of the berserk power the talisman gets destroyed, Congratulations"
"Come on, I just got it!"
"Don't worry you were the only person who picked the strength talisman so lucky for you we have a spare, take it" Derrick said while pulling out a jet black talisman from his pocket
Sanon looked at it with greed before taking it and put it on his katana:"thank you so much I thought I was screwed"
"Just gets some rest, tomorrow there's no class so you should relax"
"Okay!"

The next day came by so fast and today Sanon, Jack, and Desmond had a day of from class so they decided to go around the red fire tribe.
"What should we do first?" Asked Sanon
"Let's go look at the occult shop we might even find some rare objects " replied Desmond
"Let's do this thing!" Jack yelled
The three kids ran around the red fire tribe which was filled with dusty tents and shabby cabins until they reached a wooden cabin with a occult shop sign hanging on the front. When they went into the shop they saw stone shelves full of talisman and beast guts but also an old man wearing a fedora greeting them
"Hello how may I help you?"
"Well do you have any rare objects?" Sanon asked
"Hahahaha, it just so happens today I received a caravan filled with cleansing and healing spell tags if you three are interested in those"
"Please we want the good stuff" Desmond said with a smug look on his face
"Normally I wouldn't sell this but since I like you guys, I'm willing to sell you a mid tier earth talisman"
"None of us use the earth element do you have anything else?"
"Give me a second to think, well I do have one more thing you might me interested but it's pretty dangerous"
"Just tell us what it is old man" Damian said impatiently
"You young folk are full of energy alright let me show you" the old man said while taking out a jar with about 5 pills:"this is a low grade booster pill it was created by a joint Chinese-Japanese research team, it was made during the apocalypse war in order to combat demons,the pill can multiply your strength and speed by 1.3 times but the rebound hurts a lot"
"Alright how much?"
"200$"
"That much for that jar , that's a rip off!" Jack said
"You misunderstand it's 200$ per pill and I'm giving you a discount it's usually 300$ per pill"

"Well you see around these parts these pills are quite rare and they can save your life if you use it correctly"
"I see never mind then, come on guys lets go"
"If you ever get the money come back" the old man said while waving good bye
The three boys left the occlut shop and began talking
"Jesus Christ those were some crazy prices, what do we do now?"
"Idk you got any ideas Jack?"
"Well we cou... Ouch!" Before Jack could finish his sentence a rock was thrown at him
"Get the fuck out of here you fucking demon!" a man about 20 years old with a spear said
"Hey watch your mouth you racist piece of shit!" Desmond yelled
"Don't defend a monster like him" the man said
"Your calling me a monster well do you think you can kill a monster" Jack said while unsheathing his Glaive
"Alright i don't mind taking out the trash" the man said while taking out his spear
The two began clashing weapons, Jack steeped the man's leg with his Glaive but the man jumped and stabbed straight into Jack's head. Jack quickly spun to the right and slashed at man's side. The slash cut deep and the man screamed "arghhh".
The racist then charged his spear with lightning, he must've had a lightning talisman Jack thought. The man held his wounded side with his right hand and charged with the lightning charged spear in his left. Jack in response to that charged his Glaive with water which turned the blade of his Glaive into ice then the two weapons collided causing a huge "Boom" sound.
When the smoke cleared you could see the racist on the ground unconscious and Jack injured on his knees gasping for air. Sanon and Desmond ran toward the injured Jack
"Wow that was crazy" Sanon said
"Yeah thankfully I'm a halfling so my body is stronger"
"You lucky bastard" Desmond said smugly
As three continued talking the door to the occult shop opened and out came the old man with the fedora walking toward them.
"I was watching the entire time, that was a great show"
"Okay is that all you wanted to say" Jack replied
"Well since you guys entertained me I decided to give you three a gift" the old man said while tossing 3 pills at each one of them
"These are ..."
"Yep I hope you get good use out of them, oh and my names Samuel come back if ever need anything"
The old man Samuel walked back into the store leaving the three boys on there own.
"What a weird old man" Sanon said
"Who cares we should get some rest, tomorrow's the day" Desmond said happily
"Yeah I've been waiting for it for months" Jack replied
"Wait what's happening tomorrow?" Sanon asked
"Tomorrow is the first day in our lives we can go outside the red fire tribe and to make it even better we get to fight against monsters dumbass!" Desmond answered
"Why do you talk to me like that?"
