Chapter 1 New World

In the year 2216 the world was invaded by supernatural beings called demons. They ravaged the land and decimated everything. Many countries have fallen leaving only small tribes to fend for themselves.

It is now the year 2242, within a small cabin you could see a 16 year old tall boy about six feet tall with black hair and a come over hair cut from Asian descent sleeping firmly on the floor, when suddenly the door opens and a loud voice could be heard

"Yo Sanon get up its time for military training, I don't want to get punished because of you"

The boy named Sanon got up and saw a small boy about 13 years old that's a little over five feet tall with black slightly curly hair, then said: "Desmond calm the fuck down I'm your older brother you shouldn't talking to me like that asshole!"

"Whatever just come on the instructor is going to kill us!"

The two boys quickly started running to the training grounds hoping to god they don't get punished. When they finally got there another boy who looked 16 years old with weird curly hair and two light blue horns on top of his head whose almost six feet tall screamed out at them: "you two are late and fucked, the instructor found out his wife was cheating on him so he is taking ass today!"

The reason the boy has horns growing from his head is because he is a halfling born between a demon and a human which is quite rare, they tend to have stronger bodies but deal with racism due to there demonic lineage

" it's always us so did what classes did we miss Jack?" Sanon asked

"Well you two missed demonology so all that's left is history, close quarters combat class and gunnery, don't worry I made an excuse for your demonology instructor " Jack replied

"Thanks your not my best friend for nothing"

"Are you two done pussyfooting around let's go!" Damian angrily said while running ahead

The three boys ran to the history class but when they got there a forty year old women named Helen began yelling at them: "you three are late Jack what were we last studying?"

"W-well we began studying about the day the demons invaded, One day a portal opened in the sky and out came millions and millions of demons of different variety, the former military in every country United and tried fighting back which was called the apocalypse war, we were easily swept away since our weapons couldn't harm them and 70% of the human population went extinct leaving only small tribes like our red fire tribe in the United States and some smaller cities which are considered humanities last stronghold."

"Good what happened next Desmond?"

"The remnants of the Japanese military created a special metal called oxium steel that could harm demons and the remnants of the European coalition began studying the occult and supernatural which in the end created enchantments, cursed seals and the most important demon contracting".

"Alright now Sanon"

"Soon after Nine families dubbed the Nine great clans unified what was left of humanity to fight back against the demons... And well I forgot what happened next"

"Sanon you are going to fail this class"

"Yes instructor" Sanon said in a depressed tone

The remainder of the class went on like that for about an hour and soon began close close quarters combat. The instructor for this class was a fifty something year old man with huge muscles named Derrick who was standing near something covered in a blanket.

"Today is a special day because today we have live demons you will be fighting!" Instructor Derrick said while unveiling what was beneath the cloth which was ugly green coloured midgets also called goblins inside cages, the entire class was shocked although since there are only 8 students and 8 goblins nobody was afraid.

"Alright everybody the weapons are over in the shed so pick one"

All the students quickly ran to the shed to pick a weapon. Jack decided on a double ended Glaive, Desmond picked up dual scimitars and Sanon grabbed a katana.

"I am psyched close quarters is my best class" Sanon said ecstatically

"It's also the only class your good in" Desmond said mockingly

"Every one line the fuck up!" The instructor yelled

Everyone began lining up in order then the instructor said "ok now the weapons in your hand are made from 5th rate oxium steel which is pretty weak but enough to take care of some goblins, now as you all know goblins are one of the weakest demons so if some how you lose, then you just plain suck" he began releasing all the goblins from there cages

All the students began pairing up against a goblin. Damian began using his swiftness to evade all the goblins attacks while slowly cutting apart that green bastard. Jack was using a barrage of attacks and the poor goblin couldn't even fight back before it was killed. Sanon carefully watched his opponents movements and parried all of the goblins attacks before he decapitated the goblin.

In the end all the students passed without a single one being injured. The next class began but since our tribe is so small Derrick also trains us in gunnery.

"Everyone bring your weapons back and grab a gun in the shed except you Sanon just keep practicing with your katana" in the entire red fire tribe there is a secret that everyone knows Sanon cannot use a gun every time he even tries firing one the gun somehow breaks and nobody knows why however what he lacks in long range he more then makes up for in close quarters combat, he's an absolute genius with a katana and the top of the class in that area.

Soon the class finished the the instructor said to all the students: "now everyone knows what tomorrow is its the day where you decide which enchantment you want for your weapon now remember only one weapon so pick between your meele or your gun, oh and if you dual wield just tie them together with a string, alright now just grab the weapon you pick from the shed"

"Yesssss!" All the students said with curiosity gleaming from there eyes
