POV Owen Wyrick
After leaving the apartment complex, the logical part of my brain was screaming at my chuuni side for trying to act cool by going solo. Not one for listening to logic, my chuuni side ignored logic and continued forward.
Equiping my starter weapon, I cried internally because it was a knife. A knife would've been fine if I had chosen my class already and was an assassin who could stealthily attack people for a sneak damage multiplier. Instead of that, I am a classless guy, with no real fighting experience and now stuck with only a knife to defend myself against countless amounts of monsters.
A zombie bounded towards me, ending my inner-monologue. Spurned into action by the newly arrived threat, I held my knife in a reverse grip, prepared to defend myself. After arriving near me, it scratched out with it's claw in an easily predictable manner.
Remembering all the play fights I had with my friends as a child, I dodged it's attack with a side-step and a wave of my body and then counter-attacked, bringing my dagger to it's neck for a quick kill.

Ignoring the pop up about the experience gain, I bound forward towards my next target, another zombie slowly lumbering towards me. Encouraged by my previous kill, I took the iniative, charging forward and swinging my weapon, aiming for it's neck like the previous zombie.

Having a much easier time with this zombie, decapitating it with one blow, I grew shocked at the strength I showed, one that I did not have before.
Quickly deciding that it was my status that made me stronger than before, I ran into a nearby building. Not the apartment though as I was embarrassed by my previous behavior. Also realizing at that same moment that I could've just chosen to stay AND BEEN THE LEADER OF MY OWN GROUP!
Calming down from my inner-rage, I assessed my current abilities with the use of status.
Status Name: Owen Wyrick Class: None Gender: Male Level: 0 Age: 15 Experiencce 50/100 Stats Strength: 10 Agility: 10 Vitality: 10 Dexterity 10 Endurance: 10 Intelligence: 10 Wisdom 10 Skills None
Using the spare time I had until I figured out a good plan of action, I decided to choose a class or at least, look at them to ponder over my choices.
Clicking on the blank area next to class, a list popped up of available classes. They were Rogue, Mage, Warrior, Cleric and Adventurer. Bringing up some more information on each class, I learned the pros and cons of each class.
Rogue: High agility and dexterity, a rogue is a dabbler in the ways of stealth. This class evolves into Assassin, Thief, Alchemist or High Rogue.

Mage: High intelligence and wisdom, a mage is one who studies the uses of magic. This class evolves into High Mage, Enchanter, Conjurer or an elementalist of one element. (Example: Pyromancer or Geomancer)
Warrior: High strength and Vitality, a warrior is one who studies the art of melee combat. This class evolves into Holy Warrior, Blacksmith, High Warrior, Berserker or a user of a weapon. (Example: Swordsman or Spearman)
Cleric: High intelligence and endurance, a cleric is a person of faith. This class evolves into Priest, High Cleric, Healer, Doctor or Paladin
Adventurer: Average in all stats, an adventurer pursues wealth, glory, fame, power and most importantly, fun. This class evolves into Knight, Lord, Merchant or High Adventurer.
Knowing that I don't want to be a support class as I will probably be going solo for a while, I immediately crossed Cleric off the list. Next, I eliminated Adventurer as I didn't want to be average because all-rounders tended to be very weak in the long run. Thinking rapidly, I realized that I didn't want to be any of the available classes as I wanted to be able to fight on the front lines, sling magic around and be super stealthy and assassinate things.
In a dilemma, I did the only thing I could think, I asked the system if I could be a mix of Warrior, Rogue and Mage or if there was a class that was already that. Not really expecting a reply, I was startled when a blue screen appeared before me with the word, yes. Thinking it strange that it actually responded to me, I was once again startled when I read what popped up on the next screen.
It asked me if I wanted to be an adventurer. I almost hit the no button but then I thought of something, what if adventurer wasn't meant to be an all-rounder class in the stats category but an all-rounder, jack of all trades in the skills category. Going with my gut feeling, I tapped the yes button.
Immediately, a screen popped up congratulating me on my choice. As soon as that screen was brushed out of the way, another screen popped up telling me my class bonuses.
Adventurer: As an adventurer, you will not be able to assign you own status points but instead have one put in every stat. As compensation for being only average at best in every category stat-wise, you will receive a 10% increased learning rate for every skill. Also you will get to pick two starting skills out of a list of available skills.
I read and re-read the box and let it sink in. Being average in every stat is okay with me now that I know I will learn EVERY skill faster than other classes, except for their specialities of course.
Remembering that I would be receiving two free skills, I got giddy and summoned the list of available skills. There were obvious skills such as Sword Proficiency, Sneak, Fireball or Heal, but I wasn't interested in any of them since most of them seemed straight forward to learn on my own. No, I would go for skills that were nearly impossible to naturally learn and select them to give myself an advantage.
Noting down any skill I saw that seemed easy to replicate so I could learn them later, I scrolled down the list, not finding anything that fit my criteria until I stumbled upon a skill called Muscle Mastery, thinking of it as a general skill that would help me control my body, I almost passed on it but clicked it's description on a gut feeling of mine.
Muscle Mastery: This skills increases all physical by 2% of the base stats. Every level of this skill adds 2% more to the buff of this skill.
After reading the description I knew I needed this skill. Although it may not seem like much to another class that can assign status points wherever they wanted, this skill was practically a cheat for Adventurers. That's because if we got this skill to level 50 for example, that would be a 100% increase to all physical stats. At that level it wouldn't matter if I only get one status point in a stat per level because it would be the same as putting two into that stat.
Choosing that skill as my first, I felt a rush of knowledge enter my brain and instantly learned how to continue leveling the skill and how the skill effected my body.
Searching the list once again, I finally found a skill worthy of taking up my other free skill slot. It was the Increased Regeneration skill.
Increased Regeneration: This skill the recovery speed of your health and stamina. Instead of having levels it has layers. Each layer doubles the previous multiplier: (Example: Layer 1 2x Recovery Speed, Layer 2 4x Recovery Speed, Layer 3 8x Recovery Speed)
After picking my second skill, I once again felt a rush of knowledge enter my mind as I learned how to train my skill.
Just realizing how OP I was going to be with these two overpowered skills, I started laughing maniacally, only to relaize moments later that I had attracted a horde of zombies to my location. Immediately regretting letting my chuuni side take over to laugh, I sprinted up to the next floor of the building and almost had my skull caved in by the swing of a club.
Looking up at the attacker, I was frightened. Not from what attacked me, a goblin, but the five other goblins charging in as it's reinforcements.
