We returned to the cave late in the afternoon.
“Farengar, I want you to cook something for all of us… so Millie doesn’t complain” I muttered at the end.
“Yes my lord, I shall get right to it!” Farengar said, as he walked inside the cave and started cooking some of the rabbits and cutting up vegetables we found on the way back.
“Hopefully he’s a better cook than you” Millie said, as she inspected her guns.
“Hey, can I have one of those?” I asked politely.
“Here, take this one” Millie threw a rusted gun to me.
“Seriously? Why can’t I have one of the better ones!?” I asked.
“You’re not really useful… well, your pets are… but you… not so much” Millie said, with a creepy smile on her face.
“Bitch!” I said as I walked away.
“System… I want to buy something” I said aloud.

“Restoration” I said.

“Both for 9 silver, please” I said with a faint smile.
Certainly, sir, I have already taken the funds out of your account, would you like to buy anything else?
“Actually, yes. Show me the Destruction novice spells”
Certainly sir:
Flames 5s
Frostbite 5s
Sparks 5s
Arniel’s Convection 8s
Vampiric Drain 5s (You cannot buy this since you do not have the necessary bloodline)
“Okay… Sparks, Frostbite and Flames for 1 gold and 5 silver coins” I said.
The funds have been taken out of your account, would you like to buy anything else, sir?
“No thanks system” I said.
I walked back to Millie, full of confidence.
“Why do you look so smug?” Millie asked me, rudely.
“Well, I did just get a few new spells…” I said, smugly.
“Can I test them out?” she asked.
“Sure!” I replied excitedly.
“Okay, get ready” she said as she pulled out her gun and fired.
“Oh shit! Lesser Ward!” I shouted as I watched my Magicka bar drain as the bullet bounced off of the ward.
“Oh! Cool! So, it can block a 9mm bullet… that’s pretty useful!” Millie said.
“You stupid fucking bitch! You could’ve killed me!” I shouted angrily.
“Yeah, but I didn’t” she replied.
“So what if you didn’t! You still fucking shot at me! I thought you were going to punch or kick it or something like that! Not fucking shoot at me! You didn’t even know if I had any defensive spells. And you still fucking took the shot that could’ve cost me my life!” I yelled at her, and tears began to form in her eyes.
“Uuuuuu~” she started to cry.
“I-I… fuck why do I have to be so bad with crying kids… look, Millie… I’m sorry, but you shouldn’t shoot at someone unless you know for sure, they’re either… bad… or they have the proper defenses against it, you could have killed me there… how would you have felt? Without me or my pets… or probably even Farengar?” I said.
“I-I… Uuuuuuuuuuuu~” she cried even more until the sky darkened and the moon was visible.
“My lord, supper is ready” Farengar said, joyfully from inside the cave.
“So… Millie, do you want to go inside and eat?” I asked.
“Y-yeah… *sniff*” Millie finally stopped crying.
“You know… you’re a lot less cute when you’re crying… so, keep those tears inside, until nobody's looking, then nobody knows you’re weak and… you’re probably not listening to me, let’s go inside” I said, not noticing Millie’s red face.
“O-okay…” Millie said as we walked inside to an amazing looking feast!
“Farengar… did you make this!?” I asked.
“Yes, my lord” Farengar said with pride.
“*munch* Soooo good~” I heard Millie say from the other side of the cave.
“This is delicious, you have truly outdone yourself” I said to Farengar, smiling.
“Thank you, my lord! I’d make nothing but the best for you!” Farengar replied as he knelt down.
“Farengar, don’t kneel… it’s kind of awkward, just enjoy the meal you spent…” I looked outside, to see the full moon “Hours? Making” Then, I looked back at Farengar and smiled.
“Yes my lord” Farengar said, as he sat down and enjoyed the meal he made.
And like that, the night passed with us eating and going to sleep.
