We watched in silence as the trolls were held back by my army of undead monsters.
...They never stood a chance.
The rats and skeevers were easily decimated by the trolls charging in and… just stomping on them.
The goblins were next, while they did get a few good hits in… even killing one or two of them… out of the hundreds, they were almost completely decimated within the first five minutes.
Then, the zombie bandits, while they put up a great fight. Taking ten of them out, they eventually succumbed to their wounds and died.
The wolves were next, but… they didn’t simply lay down and die, they ran in different directions and luckily a few trolls followed them.
The elk were the next to go… surprisingly, they did quite a lot of damage and tanked most of the damage as well, they killed around twenty before most of them died.
The rabbits and foxes were mostly unnoticed… but they were eventually decimated… pretty easily but… somehow, probably by sheer luck… they took out a troll.
The Bears were probably the most useful of the undead… taking out fifty trolls with their giant bodies… they did eventually die… but, one of them ran away and quite a few of the trolls went after it.
We just stayed behind the makeshift barricade, terrified… if even one of them spotted us… we’d be fucked.
*crack*
I heard a stick crack… and I looked at Farengar… he broke one of the sticks! Shit!
One of the trolls looked in our direction!!!
“Shit!!! Conjure Familiar! Run!” I shouted to Alisha, Roger and Farengar as we began to run away, while my new wolf distracted the trolls for enough time for us to get away.

“W-where am I?” I asked in confusion.
“Well, you’re at my home… lovely, is it not?” a man with one arm and two scars across his left eye said to me while drinking what smelt like tea.
“What happened?” I asked as I readied myself for a fight.
“Well, my… friends found you in the woods, unconscious… and the sound of those… monsters in the distance… it was pretty obvious what happened…” He said.
“What was pretty obvious?” I asked.
“Well, you were running from them… and you couldn’t run forever so you… did something to distract them… maybe tripping a friend and you ran in another direction as they were distracted” He replied.
“Okay… that’s sort of what happened” I pouted.
“So, who was the friend you tripped?” He asked as he wrote… something in the air.
“I didn’t trip anyone, I used an RPG to distract them and dropped it… then ran” I replied.
“Oh, that makes sense… okay, I’ll take the truth spell off you… sorry about that” He said with a smile.
“T-truth spell? What did you do to me!?” I asked.
“It’s a simple precaution… I’m not a threat if you could do it… you would” He replied as he took a sip of his tea.
“So… who are you?” I asked.
“Is it not common courtesy to say your name before you ask for another's?” He asked.
“I-I’m Millie…” I said.
“See, wasn’t that easy? I’m Leon, nice to meet you… what system do you have? I have the spirit system” he said with a grin.
“The… Call of duty system… or as I like to call it, the gun system” I said.
“So, a game system… so, let me ask… how did a kid like you survive long enough to get a system? I lost an arm and part of my vision to get this one…” He asked as he made those… signs again!
“My friend Grant helped me…” I said as I was completely under his spell.
“Well, that’s good to know… what system does he have?” He asked.
“The… Skyrim system” I replied.
“Good! That would be quite the useful one… I’ll take the spell off now… sorry, it’s a habit… the last people I met lied to me and… well, they’re the ones who took my arm… but, I got their lives… so, I won… Ha ha” He laughed sadly.
“So… can I leave now? And… where are the people who helped me?” I asked.
“Oh, you mean Donna and Dale? They’re spirits… I found them roaming this area… so, I sort of… made them… mine, sorry I don’t know how to explain it… ha” he said as he laughed awkwardly.
“...Can you take me back to… the shelter?” I asked.
“Sure… where is it located?” He asked.
“I know that if I lie you’ll probably use a truth spell on me, so I’ll be honest” I said as I pointed in the direction of the cave.
“Oh… that’s bad…” He said.
“W-what do you mean, bad?” I asked.
“That’s where the trolls are going… fuck… I think your friend’s dead… sorry kid” He said in a somber tone.
“N-no!” I felt the tears bordering the corners of my eyes… until they slowly came out.

Grant’s POV
“Fucking run! We have to get out of here!” I shouted at Farengar and Alisha.
“We’re going as fast as we can m’lord!” Farengar replied.
“I know that! But, they’re on our arses! We’re probably not going to make it if we can’t get away from them! We need a distrac-” as I was about to say distraction… Roger jumped toward the troll horde. “Roger! No!” I shouted as I heard him fight the trolls with all his might… until I heard his whimper… he’s… dead.
“No!” I shouted as I looked back… only to see Roger’s corpse dissipate.
I could feel tears go down my face, but I didn’t care as we kept running… until we found a… house?
