Chapter 9: The City Of Faar / Dragon Girl
“Hey, kid, you got any identification? You need it to enter the town” A man said
“If I teleport in, do I still have to?” Evan asked, annoyed
“Ha! Sure. Only god can teleport, so who cares." The guard snorted
“What a massive fucking coincidence, buddy. I am god.” Evan said, teleporting right through the gate and chuckling
“Wha-“ The guard gawked at Evan, baffled
“See ya. Thanks, guard dude.” Evan said, walking away with his hands in his pockets, whistling a beautiful song as he went along.
He began walking around the city
“I wonder what’s around here. I have a little bit of time to wander around if this schedule I made is accurate.” Evan said
“Hey, you. Kid. With the long brown hair. Over here. I got a question for you.” A voice said
“Huh? Oh. Yo. Whatsup?” Evan asked, walking over
“Well, someone I know wants to meet you.” The girl said
Evan thought for a moment
“Is it little dragon girl?” Evan asked
“What? Dragon girl, yes. She’s anything but small, though.” The girl said
“Um. How old is she?” Evan asked
“Over 5000 years old. One of the oldest things alive. Other than dimensional overseers, I think.” The girl said
“She isn’t anywhere close to being in the oldest living things top 1000 for this dimension. So she really isn’t. But 5000, huh? Damn, it’s been a long time.” Evan said
“It’s here, by the way.” The girl said, opening a door for him, and leaving.
“Quite a small shop. Fits her well.” Evan said
“Yellllooww, Evannnn! Is that you? I’m downstairs.” A voice called
“Hey, little dragon, that is you, right?” Evan asked, heading down the stairs
“Yup. They really grew out well.” The woman said
“Your entire body did.” Evan said
“True. Anyway, this is zel.” Dragon girl said, referring to a girl that was standing next to her
“What? Eldridge, what did you want from me? Oh, wait. Right, nice to meet you, zel. I’m god.” Evan said
“You’re who?” Zel asked
“He’s god.” Eldridge said
“I see. Of what?” Zel asked
“Just god. The god. God god. The one everybody worships.” Evan said
“Oh. That knowledge disturbs me.” Zel said calmly
“Okayyy, then? I’ll ignore the weird girl. Eldridge, tell me what you needed.” Evan said
“To help with torturing that bishop. Sounds fun.” Eldridge said, grinning
“I forgot about that. You’re still into that stuff? Dear me, that’s gotta be rough.” Evan said
“Hmph. Stop that. You’re going to make Zel misunderstand.” Eldridge said
“How would I misunderstand my teacher being a massive pervert? It scarred me emotionally.” Zel said, smiling
“I do not know how to deal with her, Eldridge. Who is Zel?” Evan asked, pointing at zel
“And now even god is annoyed by me. I’ll hold a coffee cup in this burning room. This is fine. Yes. I’m used to being emotionally driven into the ground horribly.” Zel said monotonously

“Um. Evan, just ignore her. She’s… a weird one.” Eldridge said
“No shit. Let’s just go kill that damn bishop already.” Evan said
“I have a problem to report about that.” Zel said, raising her hand
“What is it Zel?” Eldridge asked
“I have already eaten the bishop. What now?” Zel asked
They stared at her
“Seriously? I didn’t expect you to raise a cannibal.” Evan said
“I was joking. He would taste awful.” Zel said, fake gagging
“What the hell is wrong with you?” Evan asked, inspecting her
“I’m insane in the membrane.” Zel said, spinning around
“But honestly? It’s growing on me. Quite refreshing to be surprised like this.” Evan said, laughing a little
“Wryyy!” Zel yelled, leaning back and doing a wryyy, her art style changing to match the pose.
“Why does Zel know that stuff?” Evan asked, shocked
“You really think whoever I hang out with is normal? She can do weird stuff.” Eldridge said, sighing
“Before you ask, I can indeed know things. It is odd.” Zel said
“This… this is fragmented knowledge! Eldridge do you have any idea what this means?” Evan asked, inspecting zel
“No. I’m not that kinda omniscient god. I’m just a water god.” Eldridge said
“And dragon god.” Zel said
“Yeah. That.” Eldridge said
“Well, it explains why she’s insane. Does she ever seizure or spasm?” Evan asked
“Yes. Is it related to that? I was thinking of asking you, but I wasn’t sure. You’re not the real Evan, after all. Are you even able to do anything about it?” Eldridge asked
“Well, that makes me feel a lot better about myself. And yes, I can. See” Evan said, absorbing something from Zel.
“Oh, right. You have an identity crisis. Can’t you fix that?” Eldridge asked
“I already did. Doesn’t make what you said less rude.” Evan said
“Was it Holly?” Eldridge asked, grinning
“Shut up. Let’s go kill the bishop.” Evan said
“Sounds good to me. We can just leave Zel there, right?” Eldridge asked
“Wow. Still heartless. And yes.” Evan said
“I only have a heart for Evan.” Eldridge said
“I am Evan.” Evan said
“Sorry, let me reiterate. I only like the real Evan.” Eldridge said
“What about me, then.” Evan said
“We were friends before I met the real Evan.... How much do you just choose to not care about?” Eldridge asked
“Eh.” Evan shrugged
“That’s… disturbing. You’re the overseer of this dimension, you know. The only one who can fix it. Maybe you should start paying more attention to that stuff.” Eldridge said
“Shut up. Other than what’s absolutely necessary, or what I want to do, I’m just going to stay with Holly.” Evan said
“See. All you had to do was admit it. Now look. Stuck like glue. It warms my heart. And I don’t even have one. Metaphorically. I have a heart, obviously. But is the bishop considered absolutely necessary? And what about the huge ass wedding….that was probably Holly.” Eldridge asked
“Yeah. Bishop is necessary. He’s using my name to commit atrocities for his own gain. In other words, a bad person.” Evan said
Eldridge froze
“Did you just call him a person? And we're killing him, according to you?” Eldridge asked
“I’m not your damned Evan. Jeez. I consider good or bad to be inherent. Kinda. Hard to explain while I’m running across rooftops with you towards a fucking church. A church that worships me, by the way.” Evan said
“Oh, right. You guys are pretty much the same, though.” Eldridge said
“Yup. Made that way. Inherent. But I’m different, because I’m technically not him. One of the reasons I have that belief. Basically… I’ll kill people if I have to, without much care. Honestly, I’m not kind like your Evan. Maybe it’s because I don’t have what he does. But now? Now I have something that is at the very least equal in Value to me as lime.” Evan said
“You realized you were different from Evan since he made you, unlike most of the others. You were your own person before he allowed it. That’s why Holly wants you. Loves you. Not my Evan. She knows you as the only real Evan, not Evan Evan. I still see you as a stupid god. Like I always have.” Eldridge said
“Yeah, but I don’t think I can destroy reality for Holly. I don’t have that power.” Evan said
“And you’re never going to. You have limits. In some ways it can be considered a better thing. He’s grounded you here, mind, body, and soul. Wait… do you hate him?” Eldridge asked
“Yes. Yes, I do. Evan always hates himself. I am no exception.” Evan said
“Oh. Well, without him, you wouldn’t exist, and you would never have met Holly.” Eldridge said
“Yeah. I’m grateful to him. But he’s still a bastard.” Evan said, spitting
“We’re here.” Eldridge said
“Finally. I’m itching to kill this dude.” Evan said, grinning
“You look downright evil, you know that, right?” Eldridge said
“Yeah, what about the real Evan? He made you wet your pants!” Evan laughed
“Yes… that was…. an experience…. let’s never talk about this again.” Eldridge said
“I’m so going to tell Holly about it.” Evan said
“Ack! Why?!” Eldridge asked, flustered
“You haven’t talked to her in quite a while, and it would be funny to reunite with that knowledge in her head. You should check up on your old friends, right? Maybe we should get everyone back together one time. That would be fun.” Evan said
“It would be. If you're there. You’re the one who held us together like glue. Without you, we’re not much. I haven’t talked with most of the ones who are still alive in…. let’s see…… shit. A long time.” Eldridge said
“Again. Eldridge. Bishop? Are we gonna torture him or not.” Evan said, frowning
“Oh, right. I need to get some stuff from the basement here afterwards, just by the way. They have some illegal documents that I need.” Eldridge said
“Whatever.” Evan said, jumping down
