Lu Ran is still cultivating.

He is surrounded by an aura of death and even his face looks deadly pale.

Although there was the aura, the man still looked very old and wrinkly. His eyes still looked weary and exhausted.

During that last desperate attempt to break through, all my emotions, luck and potential came flowing through my veins, Lu Ran spoke inwardly.

I finally managed to break through the barrier blocking the Core Formation realm. Although his body was still far behind the usual Core Formation realm expert as Lu Rans body had already started to deteriorate prior to his breakthrough. Even though it is inferior to the usual Core Formation realm, his body is far superior to the Foundation Establishment realm after breaking through.

These last few months were arduous and stressful but certainly worth it.

After all, I have become a Core Formation realm cultivator.

I must now calm my mind and stabilize my breakthrough in order to avoid future troubles.

As such, Lu Ran spent around two hours more to stabilize his breakthrough.

Lu Ran slowly opens his eyes and walks towards the doors of his room and opens them.

Outside the room 7 clan elders stood with although weary eyes yet full of surprised looks. His first son, the clan’s vice-patriarch, Lu Chenfeng and his second son Lu Chenyang were also there.

I had almost lost you old man, I thought you wouldn’t be able to overcome your limits this time. You were late by 2 days, Lu Chenfeng said emotionally.

We aren’t ready to lose you yet father, Lu Chenyang said.

As everyone is moving to the Clan Hall and sees their old Patriarch taking his seat, they all become excited as reality starts to sink in.

They are now the only clan besides the royal family to have a Core Formation realm expert.

By now, the elders and all the other clan members all know that their Patriarch has become an expert. Their faces are visibly excited.

To break the silence Lu Ran spoke up.

The Mountainous Wild Beast Forest territory possesses a lot of natural resources.

The whole clan started to clamor loudly.

I most likely won't be able to reach the Nascent Soul realm. We'll need to start preparing for someone to take my place after this, since most of you are more talented than me as well.

We will be able to do so after we become the Sole Ruler of Moon Cloud city.

All seven elders were all very excited and felt very proud to be part of the Lu Clan.

The Lu Clan started bustling and their members started gearing up.

They took their swords, spears and blades in hand.

Elders took their seats on Cloudy Dragon Horses.

Cloudy Dragon Horses are tamed wild beast horses with ancient dragon blood flowing through their veins. These horses are a symbol of the Lu Clan.

These horses also provided a huge chunk of their strength.

Everyone throughout Moon Cloud City has started to take notice of the odd activities in the clan. Word quickly spread to the other leading clans.

The 3 other leading clans consisted of the Zun clan, Huang clan and Lin Clan.

The Zun clan was considered to be the second in rank, both in strength and influence.

After them were the Huang and Lin clan, they were equal in strength and influence.

At the Zun clan was a tall man with a white beard with strokes of black mixed in.

He is Zun Tai, a man with an 8th stage Foundation Establishment realm, who’s the current patriarch of the Zun clan..

His eyebrows raised as he heard of the odd news.

Suddenly a table was smashed by the man.

He was clearly very angry since he realized this could only mean 1 thing.
