-he he he he, look at me, im so edgy! im listening to a clockwork oragnes soundtrack while making this! i can already feel the edge seeping into my pores...-
´...´ Daedge was confused. his body had shrunk into a small hovering ball, akin to the state in which he found himself at the start of this all. but he felt as if his core was now his entire body. he was proud over having killed the thing who ate him, but the message he recived shortly afterwards made him confused, to say the least. he didnt know why, but he had gotten multiple messages as he was evolving.
´the hell was that about...´ he tried imagening himself taking a step forward, but he was immobile. ´goddamn it, move i say!´
as his body wiggles slightly, an uncountable number of brown chains shot out at him, latching at his now solid state. the chains were coming from the very walls of the castle, apparantly the dirtwisps who were in the form of bricks had attacked.
°please refrain from moving°
´what? fuck no, stupid screen! ill move if i want!´ Daedge attempted to move yet again, but the chains surroinded him, and they all balled around him, making the whole thing look quite alot like a ball of brown yarn.
°please refrain from moving°
´hugh-, w-why should I, huh?? geez!´ he was a bit confused, as materia had before this evolution just went right through him. the chains were tightly latched onto him, but when he tried moving yet again, the chains melted together into a ball. his entire vision was covered by hardened dirt affixing him in place.
°if you do not refrain from moving, we must remove you°
´remove me?? fuck no!!... no, no no no!! i-i dont want to die again!!!....´ Daedge remained still, thinking a bit of what to do. moving might kill him, but he doesnt know what the screen will do if he does not. ´o-ok... i wont move... but why?!´
°please remain calm, and please refrain from moving°
´!!´ if Daedge was still in his humanoid body, he would most likely be slumping over in fear and acceptence. ´...´
a few minutes passed, nothing.
a few hours passed, nothing.
durnig this agonizing passing of time, Daedge was in a trance like slumber. he didnt move, he didnt think, and he didnt know. he did nothing, for nothing needed to be done.
"kchhhhh" a sound broke through the empty silence. Daedge, who had heard nothing for hours, suddently felt as if life had returned to him once more. the hardened dirt around him started shifting and slithering, removing themself from Daedge. light hit his body, blinding him temporarely. a large shadow blocked some of the light.
it was clad in a long, black coat. it had the head of a black rabbit. its black, unblinking eyes stared deep into Daedges soul.
´i-its you!...´ the creature held up two of its long, bony arms. these had, unlike the spearlike one he had seen earlier, hands. long, bony hands moved along the side of its head, and when it found the right spot, it pulled it off.
the rabbits head popped off the body, and under it, he saw a woman. her face was pale, and she had curly red hair. her pink lips purshed slightly, and her emerald green eyes darted about the room.
Daedges body was still, but it was no longer chained up by the dirt. the woman looked back at him.
her pink lips moved slightly, almost as if she was murmuring something. a small brown ord plopped down before her, hovering right before her face. her lips moved again, and the orb flew into Daedge.

as soon as it touched Daedge, it almost dissinigrated.
°+1 exp°
´...´ in his mind, Daedge blushed. she was gorgeous. her face was adorned with freckles, and her fluffy hair was cut short, like he would have wanted her to have it. she was the most beautifoul girl he had ever seen.
the woman took a few steps closer to Daedge. he had almost forgotten. a few slits in the coat parted, and five thin arms extended from them. the arms moved closer to Daedge. two placed themself on the sides of his body, two on the front and back, and the last on his bottom. it was a wierd feeling to him. the five hands sunk into his body, and they touched something.
´w-where the hell are you touching me???´ the hands were touching something deep inside of him. the fingers fumbeled about, until all of the fingers had gotten a grip on whatever was in there. she took a few steps back, and he falt how something that was supposed to me immobile was moved.
with a sharp pull of her arms, the hands emerged. some black goo sprayed down, and his body fell to the floor.
but as his body fell into a soggy mess on the floor, his perspective changed. he was now in her hands. her gaze followed the blob, and then she looked down to Daedge.
her arms returned through the individual slits, but one arm remained extended. in that hand, he lid. ´what the fuck is happening´ the woman put the rabbit head back on, and she left with him in her hand.
after coming outside, Daedge blacked out.
"..."
she walked forward to the door. the large wooden door was seemingly fastened to nothing but the air itself. the wood looked grand, and it had metallic details.
her hand was placed on the doorknob, and she pushed the door open. a white light escaped the door, and she stepped inside.
the scenary changed suddently, the otherwise barren landscape suddently changed and she looked around, serching for someone.
"Rabbit, here."
she turned her head, and she saw a creature. he resembeled a human, but his body had a more pale colour. his eyes were black, and he smiled slightly at all times. his hair was black and short.
"so, what did you find?"
"it seems we summoned him too early."
"blame George."
"ey, not cool man!"
"what, you were supposed to summon him when we were done!"
"it wasent me! i just left the panels alone a little, and some dude just pressed the big red button! who fucking does that man?!?"
George pointed at a big, red, pressable button that seems to be asking to be pressed. a wonder this didnt happen earlier.
the man, Tisch, crossed his arms, resembeling an angry mother.
"..."
Rabbit had no idea what she could do to change this. her lips pursed open.
"i got his core, im pretty sure his concious died out after the shock of evolving."
"huh? oh-, uh, yea. good..."
Tisch grabbed the black core, and shifted its weight in his hand.
"this is pretty heavy, aint'it?"
"yes."
"does that not mean that it is filled with his conciusness?"
"it was heavier before."
Rabbit looked off to the side.
"do souls even weigh anything?"
"shut up George."
while these were talking, daedge woke up. ´the hell....´ he could clarely see Rabbit and Tisch, but as George was sitting at the controls, he couldnt see him.
"welp, im pretty sure this here core is quite active, dont you think so too, GEORGE??"
George took his attention from the conversation, and moved it to the paels before him.
"George, what happens when one removes the core from a wisp?"
"..."
"it collapses onto itself and dies...?"
"yes, thank you Rabbit."
Tisch walked up and stood behind George.
"now, what happens if you reinsert the core into the wisp?"
"..."
"and dont say anything Rabbit, im not asking you."
"... it, well, it rises into a berserk... and then it collapses again..."
"yes, thats it George. now, what would happen if we inserted this... subject... back into its wisp form?"
"it-, uh..., i-i dont-, perheaps... it would regain its senses?..."
"Tish-, no no no. this is not a "special" core. it would do as all the other cores. go berserk."
"..."
´... fucking hell...´
"now. GEORGE. i would like you to, oh, i dunno? go fuck yourself?"
Tisch smiled, clarely annoyed. i bet if he had a mike, he would be dropping it with such strengh that it would blast through the white floor. George crouched on the chair which he sat upon, ashamed and sorry. he stood up slowly, and dragged his body out a door, through a corridor, and into his room. then he fucked himself.
Tisch smiled as usual, but now, it seemed just a bit brighter.
´i am scared. i am so scared.´
"Widow, try sending a message to subject. lets see if hes still there."
Tisch sat down at a table, and put Daedges core on a small pedistal thingy. he put a magnifying glass before it, and looked as he waited.
°please remain calm, and do not move.°
´...´
"what did you send?"
"just the usuall stuff sir. i told him not to move, and to remain calm."
"uh, try sending something telling him to move... how else will we know if hes really there?"
"yes sir."
°you may now move.°
´... fuck. no.´
"i told him to move... any reaction?"
"nope. doesnt look like it."
*evolution shall commence.*
"..."
"huh... the hell...."
´huh?´
