Akasha observed his surroundings. His pupils shrunk into needlepoints when he saw no one guarding the teleportation array. ‘There’s no army guarding it, meaning that the Sovereigns sparks shouldn’t have been born yet. This is my chance!’
He didn’t immediately take action. Instead, he clenched and unclenched his fingers, testing the unfamiliar environment. As described in the book, the gravitational force was almost a hundred times stronger than the material plane, but more crucial was the restriction on spiritual energy. Akasha could only release it around one one-thousandth of his original range.
However, Linley could only spread his spiritual energy to one ten-thousandth of its original range on a material plane. In other words, Akasha’s spiritual energy could spread ten times more. Even if Linley was only a demigod and Akasha a god, the restriction shouldn’t be so different.
Akasha pondered on the question. Although Linley was strong and a member of the Four Divine Beast Clan, he didn’t believe Linley had a stronger soul than him. Perhaps this was the advantage of one of the first divine beasts. Storing the question for later, Akasha stared at the sky, where a violet moon shaped like a sickle hung. It emanated a devilish and hazy light that caused his heart to palpitate. His eyes glazed over as if stuck in a trance.
Over a hundred meters away, three Deities, one god and two demigods, secretly transmitted message to each other. The three did not possess humanoid forms, but that of beasts.
“What’s wrong with him? Not only is he so strange looking and tiny, did he go stupid after coming to the Infernal Realm?”
“Whatever the reason, this is the perfect chance to strike!” the god said.
“Hehe, as expected of the boss. No one else was smart enough to think of ambushing newcomers,” one of the two demigods flattered.
The god snorted. “Can the yapping. Attack now!”
The other demigod sent a gloating glance at the flatterer. To which the latter glared back, causing sparks to fly between the two Deities. Still, when the god struck, the other two followed. The god trained in the Edict of Destruction, and as such, his strength was on average higher than gods of the elemental laws. The two demigods burst out with auras of water and wind.
Despite the fluctuations from the sudden burst of speed, Akasha didn’t pay attention to them, greatly increasing their confidence. In a few seconds, the god of destruction struck forward with three sharp claws. The air tremble as his hand sliced through it.
But before his claws could make contact with Akasha’s body, an immense pressure descended, coercing the god of destruction, demigod of water, and demigod of wind to crash into the ground. The only one seemingly unaffected was Akasha.
Now that the Natural Laws descended, a pit grew in the god of destruction’s stomach. He desperately prayed that Akasha wasn’t going to become a highgod. Although still unpopulated, many highgods have already appeared in the Infernal Realm. Even if he had never heard of a god immediately becoming a highgod after entering the Infernal Realm, he knew that such an event marked the imminent rise of a new powerful expert.
Especially since he could feel the aura of destruction emanating from Akasha. Deities who trained in the four edicts possessed higher status than those who trained in the elemental laws, because once a deity became a highgod of the elemental laws, their path had reached an end. They could no longer comprehend anymore profound mysteries and advance their strength, but highgods of the four edicts were different. Even after becoming a highgod of the four edicts, they could still progress in the comprehension of the edicts, meaning that their upper limit was far higher.
When a black gemstone emerged from Akasha’s forehead, the god of destruction wanted to flee, but the pressure nailed him to the ground. Under the nurturing of the Natural Laws, the God Spark of Destruction transformed into a Highgod Spark of Destruction. After the transformed divine spark entered Akasha’s forehead, the Natural Laws disappeared.
Akasha didn’t even have time to observe the changes brought forth before the god of destruction and the two demigods started fleeing. He spared a glance at them and the edges of his lips curled upward. Immediately, his newly improved godrealm materialized. Although it was neither as powerful nor as noble as the Natural Laws, but it was more than enough to nail them in place.
Although the godrealm became a useless skill in the later chapters of Coiling Dragon, it was still very useful now.
“M-M-My Lord!” the god of destruction squeezed out through labored breaths. “It was our fault! We’re willing to swear loyalty to make up for our transgressions!”
Akasha raised an eyebrow and released the godrealm. Anyway, he wasn’t afraid of them escaping. If they made any suspicious moves, he just needed to activate his godrealm again. “Tell me about the current situation of the Infernal Realm.”
The god of destruction didn’t dare to hide anything and revealed everything he knew. The two demigods also piped in from time to time, as if wanting to show their worth. It elicited the ire of the god of destruction, but how could the two demigods care? The person they needed to please was no longer that god of destruction but Akasha.

After a while, Akasha learned that there were only three cities in the surrounding million kilometers: Featherfate City, Fiendking City, and Blackhowl City. Two of the city lords were highgods that trained in the Edict of Destruction, while the last was a highgod of fate.
Unlike the later generations, staying in the city was only more relatively peaceful compared to the wild. Highgods made up less than one percent of all the deities in the Infernal Realm, and only highgods were guaranteed to live comfortably.
The three deities in front of Akasha were losers that couldn’t enter the city. And, if they had strength, why would they ambush newcomers to the Infernal Realm? Most material planes were far inferior to the Infernal Realm, and the only good thing those newcomers had was their divine sparks.
Because the teleportation array needed divine power to operate, unless a deity brought a saint to the higher planes, saints could only wait until they became a god before ascending. In reality, this was more akin to a protection the universe granted to the saints.
“You said you will serve me loyal, right?” Akasha asked, to which the three deities frantically nodded their heads. “Then swear, swear an oath to the Overgod of Destruction.”
“Overgod of Destruction?”
Upon hearing the god of destruction’s confusion, Akasha knew he had screwed up. Before the three deities could react, twin lights of black shot out of his eyes and killed the two demigods. The god of destruction’s eyes flashed with fear and turned to flee, but it was already too late.
A black light shrouded Akasha’s body, and he borrowed into the god of destruction’s body. “NOOOO!”
Soon after, the light of life left the god of destruction’s body. When the light returned, the god of destruction’s body transformed into a large black dragon with six crown-like horns adorning his head. Seconds later, the dragon minimized until Akasha appeared again.
He didn’t marvel at the changes in his body, but turned and fled into the distance. Right now, he needed a tranquil place to think, and he knew he caused a large commotion with his breakthrough and killing the three deities.
A few minutes after he left, a humanoid appeared at the teleportation array. He had two horns growing out of the sides of his head and two bat-like wings on his back. After surveying the area, he muttered, “Gone?”

Akasha found a quiet mountain and carved out a hundred-meter long hole into it before sealing it. Once inside, he began to organize his thoughts.
He had always thought that the Overgods had existed since the creation of the universe, but what if that was not the case? What if the Overgods only emerged due to some event? Perhaps that person hadn’t thought of them yet.
Akasha didn’t dare to think of that person’s name directly for fear of attracting his attention. In addition, he immediately killed the three deities to seal their mouths. Luckily, all three had fused with their divine sparks, so they didn’t have any clones to leak what happened.
What if that person already had the thoughts of creating the Overgods and was only waiting for the chance? Say, like the birth of the Sovereigns.
He shook his head. Right now, the most important was to determine Wodred, the future High Sovereign of Destruction’s location. Since he trained in the Edict of Destruction, he wouldn’t settle for anything less than the High Sovereign Spark of Destruction.
Although it was not mentioned in Coiling Dragon, all lifeforms in the universe had a pre-determined destiny. Because of reading Stellar Transformation, Akasha knew that these special existences possessed indeterminable destiny. Only these special individuals could become Universe Controllers. As a transmigrator, Akasha believed that he was one such individual.
Wodred should have held the destiny of becoming the High Sovereign of Destruction, but will that be the case with Akasha’s intervention? Individuals with undeterminable destiny didn’t mean that only their destiny was unpredictable, but that they could also alter the destiny of the people they interacted with.
With a goal determined, Akasha focused on increasing his strength. However, in the back of his mind, he couldn’t help but question what brought him to the Coiling Dragon Universe. That person was powerful, but whoever brought him here must be even more powerful.
Akasha studied his body first. While in the material plane, his body alone possessed the power of a demigod artifact. However, that was the limit, but after swallowing that god of destruction, his Divine Ability’s power didn’t increase much, but the shackles on his body loosened.
He circulated the highgod divine power of destruction throughout his body, searching for a method to raise the power of his body to a god artifact. While figuring out the method, Akasha also tried to comprehend more of the Edict of Destruction.
According to the power rankings of the novel: a highgod were, on average, a four-star fiend. Above this level were five-star fiends, six-star fiends, seven-star fiends, asuras, and finally, Paragons. In terms fusion of the elemental laws, five-star fiends fused two profound mysteries, six-star fiends fused three profound mysteries, seven-star fiends fused four profound mysteries, asuras fused five profound mysteries, and Paragons fused all the profound mysteries in an elemental law to gain the power of Will.
Since he just became a highgod, Akasha estimated he had the power of a four-star fiend or tentatively a five-star fiend. This was bragging, but the power ranking of later generations only accounted for the fusion of elemental law and didn’t account for the fiend’s artifacts, body, or Divine Abilities.
Still, Akasha didn’t become complacent. The Infernal Realm shouldn’t be populated with regular deities but the first Divine Beasts or their descendants. Many of them likely possessed superior bodies than him or stronger Divine Abilities. But that was fine, he just needed to absorb them and strengthen himself.
As a highgod, it was a very easy thing to do as long as he was careful.

From his throne within the Akashic Palace, Akasha opened his eyes. How long has it been since he fell asleep? And he even dreamed of the first few years in this world. He raised his body and smiled. Without warning, he spread his Sovereign Power and covered the entire Infernal Realm.
The other Sovereigns living in the Infernal Realm looked toward the Chaotic Sea, wondering what the High Sovereign of Destruction was doing. Still, none of them questioned the absolute ruler of the Infernal Realm—especially the Four Divine Beasts. Among the Sovereigns, the only two that they truly feared were the High Sovereign of Fate Orloff and the High Sovereign of Destruction Akasha.
“Has it already appeared?” He asked with a slight smile. Less than a second later, his body disappeared from the monolithic throne.
