In the Extinction Abyss of the Chaotic Sea, one of the Infernal Realm’s two seas, was a majestic castle constructed of black crystals. The crystals appeared clear, but inside the crystals, constant black lines intersected and swam. This was the Akashic Palace, the base of the most powerful of the Seven Rulers of Hell.
Outside the palace, a gray-robed man with blood-red hair and an equally red tattoo on his face appeared. His speed reached the point that the deities guarding the gate felt like he had just teleported in front of them. The leader of the guards immediately kneeled. “Greetings, Sovereign.”
The gray-robed man nodded. His name was Boson, one of the Seven Rulers of Hell, like the owner of the palace. “Send word to the Grand Sovereign that I’m here to request an audience.”
The leader of the guards was just about to obey, but he heard a voice in his head. “Let him enter.”
The guard nodded and ordered the other deities to open the gate. “His Eminence is expecting you.”
Boson entered the Annihilation Palace and navigated to the throne room. There, at the very end of the room, was a figure sitting atop a monolithic throne atop a nine-level dais. The figure possessed six horns that curved to form a form a crown atop his head, and a circlet with an argent jewel adorned his forehead. The jewel exuded an aura of destiny that would kill those with too weak of a will. Jet-black hair cascaded over robes of black and gold, reaching the ground. The darkness of the hair only enhanced the alabaster skin.
Feeling the oppressive gaze from those scarlet eyes, Boson lowered his head and bent his waist. “Lord Akasha.”
Akasha leaned back on the throne with indolence. “How many times have I told? We’ve known each other since forever and we’re both Sovereigns. No need to be so formal.”
“How can that be? I’m a Lesser Sovereign, I cannot lose decorum for a High Sovereign.”
Akasha shrugged. “So, why have you come?”
“There’s been updates on the matter my lord told me to pay attention to.”
“Oh?” Akasha leaned forward in interest. “Tell me.”
“The Four Divine Beast Clan and the Augusta Clan suddenly started fighting. The Augusta Clan’s territories in the Bloodridge Continent have all been uprooted and the members are being continually chased. I’ve even heard word that the Augusta Clan is also mobilizing a sizeable force to the Infernal Realm.”
As Akasha listened to Boson’s report, she narrowed her eyes and sank deep into thought. “I got it. Good job and continue to keep your ear on the ground. You can go now.”
Boson nodded and left the Annihilation Palace. Alone in the room, Akasha leaned back on the throne and closed his eyes. ‘Has the plot finally started?’
----------------------------------------
In a material plane where the land and seas had yet to split, a world where volcanic ash blackened the sky and lava flowed, the natural Laws of the universe descended. The soul-shaking energy awed the only lifeform of the material plane. At the center of the field of energy was a worm-like creature with a draconic head, six horns, and ink-black scales. The boundless and ancient energy almost caused the lifeform to kneel, but he held strong.
Large amounts of destruction-type Divine Power swirled in front of the creature and condensed into a black gemstone emanating a heart-palpitating black light. This was a Demigod Spark of Destruction. Upon the creation of the divine spark, the natural Laws gave the creature two choices: absorb the divine spark into his mind to become one with his soul and transform the body into a divine body or leave outside the body and have the natural Laws to split the soul to accommodate the divine spark and create a divine clone.
A soul-piercing howl echoed for thousands of kilometers. Space itself distorted as a sword-shaped soul flew out of the creature’s body and merged with the Demigod Spark of Destruction. Destruction-type divine power coalesced around the demigod spark and condensed into a humanoid figure wearing black clerical robes. The figure opened his eyes to reveal scarlet, jewel-like eyes.
After the natural Laws left, he laughed, his laughter booming in the surrounding land. Once the laughter died down, he turned around and looked at his original body. His original body shrunk and entered his destruction-type divine clone.

He closed his eyes and recalled his experience.
Originally, he was likely a divine beast that should have never matured. Although he was a divine beast, he didn’t have a divine ability. Instead, he had an innate ability: parasitism. As long as he could devour a compatible host, he could take all the characteristics of the host, including their divine ability!
He had been born inside an egg, but that egg wasn’t his. Instead, it belonged to a dragon-shaped divine beast from which he gained the horns and scales from. According to the original trajectory, the egg should have hatched first and only after thousands of years will he, the parasite, gain consciousness.
Perhaps his host wouldn’t detect him at first, but the host should have matured first and become a demigod before him. By then, he couldn’t hide and would likely die once the host discovered him. However, his host never had the chance to even hatch out of the egg. Through a turn of fate, the parasite had awakened his consciousness first.
In truth, the only reason the parasite had awakened first was because he wasn’t a native of this universe but a transmigrator from a planet known as Earth. His soul was already complete, thus he could awaken first, but it wasn’t like there weren’t any hiccups.
When he first arrived, his soul was just that of an ordinary mortal. How could he withstand the body of a divine beast, even if it was a juvenile? So, he immediately fell asleep again until his soul became strong enough under the nourishment of his new body.
It took a hundred years for him to master his new body, and upon doing so, he released his spiritual energy out and sensed his surrounding. It was fine inside the egg, but outside, it was chaos. His spiritual energy had been destroyed, causing great pain to him.
However, that glimpse was enough to tell him that the world was still in the process of forming. Without his appearance, no life should have been born for millions of years. He also sensed the Edict of Destruction and the Elemental Law of Light. It was at that point that he knew he transmigrated into the world of Coiling Dragon.
Unfortunately, it was a pity that he did not have the talent for the Elemental Law of Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind. Still, hope welled from his heart. The material plane he was in was still forming. Perhaps he had transmigrated into the beginning of the Coiling Dragon universe?
If that was the case, there was still a chance for him to become the High Sovereign of Destruction. He didn’t know how or where the High Sovereign Spark of Destruction would form, but all he needed to know was Wodred’s location. As long as he grasped the opportunity carefully, the destined Chief Sovereign of Destruction would become his tracking dog.
He shook his head. That was still too far away. What if he was just born in a newly formed material plane and not during the creation of the universe?
For now, he glanced at the ashen sky and said. “From today, I shall be known as Akasha!”
Akasha’s voice reverberated in the surrounding land, but there was a not single life to hear. He shook his head and started mapping the unfinished material plane. The farther he traveled, the more spatial tears leading to the chaotic space he saw.
‘It seems that the spatial boundary of the material plane have not finished forming.’ Akasha thought. Originally, he planned on teleporting to the Infernal Realm directly, but he couldn’t find any teleportation arrays. Left with no choice, Akasha returned to the location of her apotheosis and waited.
Day and night had yet to split, so Akasha couldn’t keep track of time. Still, there was fortune among misfortune. He didn’t know if it was because the material plane was still forming, but the Edict of Destruction and the Elemental Law of Light were incredibly clear to him.
Akasha spent over ten million years comprehending the Edict of Destruction and the Elemental Laws of the Light. As time passed, the Edict of Destruction became harder to sense. The same thing happened to the Elemental Law of Light.
One day, the ash clouds parted, and the warms rays of the sun shone onto Akasha, bringing warmth to the inhospitable world. Akasha stared at the sun in a trance. He hadn’t seen the sun for long, that he had forgotten the comfort and radiance it brought.
Suddenly, the natural laws descended again. Light-type Divine Power condensed into a Demigod Spark of Light. The newly created divine spark floated next to Akasha, but he didn’t absorb it into his body. Moments later, Akasha screamed in agony as he felt his soul split into two again. His split soul flew out of his body and merged into the Demigod Spark of Light.
The Demigod Spark of Light released a brilliant radiance that caused the material plane to seem dim in comparison. When the light died down, another Akasha clothed in pure white appeared. Even his horns were pure white.
“Greetings, Fellow Daoist,” the light-type clone said with cupped fists.
An amused smile appeared on the destruction-type clone, and he mirrored his other half’s action. “Greetings, Fellow Daoist.”
Afterward, both divine clones laughed. The light-type divine clone merged into the destruction-type divine clone, and there was only one Akasha once more. He didn’t immediately move and closed his eyes again. In the ten millions years, he had become a prime saint of Light, but no matter what he did, he couldn’t become a deity through the Elemental Law of Light.
In contrast, his comprehension of the Edict of Destruction had increased to the point where he became a God in the first million years. Unfortunately, he had reached a bottleneck. Akasha just needed a bit more and he would become a Highgod, but no matter what, he couldn’t breakthrough. This wasn’t aided by the concealment of the four edicts and elemental laws.
Akasha knew that unless he had a burst of inspiration, he would need to go to the Infernal Realm to become a Highgod in the Edict of Destruction.
For now, he wanted to nurture his soul so that it would return to its previous state.
