The sixth day passed without anything new or exciting, Will made some potions as instructed and delivered them on time, on the seventh and last day of the quest the Old Sage had something in mind for Will.

Old Sage: For today I have a different task for you, you will need this. Now go and gather three bundles of lemon grass and a couple of urkat herbs.

You have received an old knife.

“Item stat window”.

Old knife:Durability 6/15Damage: 1-2A simple blade, used for cutting. The blade is quite dull and a bit rusty.

Will: I will do my best.

After equipping the old knife Will left off to gather the lemon grass. Its one of the most common grass around so just by walking around the town Will was able to find enough, but finding the urkat herb would be more challenging since Will cannot leave the town before the 4 weeks initial phase is over. Will pondered for a while before recalling that there were some urkat herbs in the royal court, but getting into the royal court is easier said then done. Will arrived in front of the big palace gate guarded as always, Will approached one of the guards.

Guard: Halt, whats your business?

Will: I was sent by the Old Sage to collect some herbs from the garden.

Guard: That is not my concern, I cannot allow anybody to pass without a permit. Now leave!

Will turned around and left feeling slightly rejected and even a bit angry, a lowly level 40 guard would never been so rude to William. Will loitered around the streets half the day waiting for the guards to change. Once the guards exchanged Will gave it another shot but before reaching the guards a beggar appeared asking for few coppers. Will rejected the beggar and headed towards the guards. Will tried his best to persuade the guards even tried to bribe them but without any success, feeling lower then low for not being able to finish this simple request Will sat down nearby, without Will noticing the beggar from earlier approached again asking for some coppers again, suddenly Will was struck by an idea, Will pulled the beggar closer and whispered:

Will: Want to earn a silver coin quite easily?

Beggar: How?

Will: All you need to do is cause a bit of ruckus in front of the royal court to distract the guards so I can sneak in.

Beggar: Sounds alright but pay me in front.

Will: I will give you 50 copper now and 50 later, deal?

Beggar: Hmm, Fine deal.

Will: Head off then and signal me when you are ready.

After handing the 50 copper to the beggar Will was left penniless. The beggar moved over to the main streets waited couple of minutes before tumbling against a pedestrian, falling over and yelling out loudly:

Beggar: Stop him, he knocked me over and is trying to steal my purse.

The beggar is making a lot of noise as the ruckus does not die out with more people gathering around the guards finally leave their post and Will sneaks past them entering the Royal Court. Will sees the guard dragging away the beggar from the streets, the fine is probably higher then what Will paid the beggar. Quietly and silently moving forward to the garden avoid all eyes Will managed to learn “Sneak” skill. Reaching the garden, Will swiftly grabbed the herbs needed and tried to make to get out but did not get far before a guard spotted Will and stopped Will on the spot.

Guard: What are you doing here? I have never seen you before, do you have a permit to be here?

Will; Umm I am just here to help out the gardener with weeding, was just about to go and dump the weed.

The guard released Will after seeing the bundles of lemon grass.

Guard: Fine, carry on.

Will sighed out deeply, feeling such relief after getting out of the Royal Court without being caught. The sun long set when Will arrives at the old shack. Handing over the herbs and grass to the Old Sage.

Old Sage: Good Good, you got everything needed but what took you so long to complete this task?

Will: The guard in front of the Royal Court did not let me pass without a permit so I had to sneak in for the urkat herbs.

Old Sage; Hahaha, why not came back and asked me for it? I would written you a permit, I can enter the Royal Court as I wish.

Feeling exhausted about all the trouble Will had to go through for the task, all the tension fading as Will sighs loudly.
