Chapter 13: Aliens In Thunder Park
The large monster wildly slashed all around. It knocked Elise over with a shoulder charge and then it sliced Adam’s neck wide open with a slash. He dropped to the floor without a sound.
The monster took a bite of the astronaut’s head, but its teeth could barely puncture the astronaut’s helmet. It grabbed the astronaut and threw him. The astronaut went through the window of a nearby building where he stopped moving.
Luke and the short Alien kept firing. The creature was starting to lose a lot of body mass to the laser fire. The flesh was burned from the plasma damage.
The monster lunged at the small alien and slashed at its stomach. The alien fell to the ground and was knocked back a few metres, unmoving.
The monster kicked the gun from Luke’s hands, leaving him defenseless.
The monster, sensing victory, decided it could take slow pleasure in finally killing Luke, the only human still standing.
It walked closer, twitching horrifyingly, it was making gurgling sounds from its throat.
It towered above Luke. It bared its teeth, leaned forward to attack and then it was attacked by Elise, who was holding the dead alien’s blaster. Bolts of blue seared the beast’s back
The monster screamed and jumped towards her, but it was suddenly struck by the police car moving at incredible speed. Both the car and monster went sailing into the murky water. The car sank.
Troy exited the car and started running to the edge of the pool.
He collapsed on the shore next to Luke and Elise. Troy explained the situation with Kayla and the officer.
“Kayla’s dead. The police officer too. There was another monster but I killed it. It killed them.” Troy said, crying.

Luke and Elise comforted him. Troy saw Adam and Michael's dead bodies and they all cried.
“G-Guys” Brian called. Luke and Elise walked over to Brian.
“Brain, how you doing?” Luke asked.
“Luke, you’re really awesome, and I love it when you play Chicago, I actually really love that band.” Brain said with blood in his mouth.
His shirt was tattered and started to go red. “Elise, I, I have a crush on you, pretty bad.” He said and laughed. Blood fell from his lips. Elise kissed him and hugged him.
She got up and looked down at Brian.
Luke hugged Brian and kissed him too. This made Brian laugh, he coughed mid-laugh and blood shot forward. Brian laughed some more and died mid-sigh.
The monster splashed out from the pool water with haste and charged at Luke and Elise. Troy called out but not in time.
The monster jumped onto Luke, pinning him down. Its head then exploded as the park echoed with the sound of a large gunshot.
Elise, Luke and Troy looked up to see Daniel, the footballer. He was standing there unharmed holding a double barreled shotgun.
“I went home and got my dad’s gun,” he said. “That monster fucker killed Christian.”
The short alien coughed and opened its eyes. It stood up and saw that the monster was dead.
The astronaut climbed back out of the window and swore in Russian. He then walked over and started kicking the monster’s corpse.
“Abduct me, I fucking kill you, stupid, fucking, tentacle, fuck.” The russian said to the black monster.
Luke, Troy, Elise, Daniel and the Astronaut walked to the front gates of Thunder Park.
They got into Brian’s car and drove away. A few moments later, helicopters and swat vehicles swarmed the empty parking lot.
The teenagers found a booth at a burger cafe and Luke bought a family burger bag. He brought it to the table and the four teenagers and the astronaut ate in silence. Elise cried softly and Luke held her tightly.
Nikolai was the chattiest of the group as he talked to himself in Russian.
Meanwhile at the park, the alien carcasses were being heli-lifted into the sky. The spaceship was being studied by a large number of men in radioactive-proof suits. Thunder Park was swarmed with agents in suits. The bodies of the dead were all located and put into ambulances.
The short grey alien watched the agents work from the safety of a treetop. He was using the healing device to make his scars fade.
