Chapter 11: The Spaceship

Luke arrived at the spaceship, climbed inside and walked to where the healing kits were located. He was walking through the dark interior of the ship when he saw it.

The monster was lurking in the dark, furiously licking its wounds. Luke didn’t say a word and hid.

He accidentally knocked his laser rifle against a piece of steel and the monster noticed this.

It began searching the rows of cages for the sound. It saw the cow and got distracted. It began reaching through the steel bars to take handfuls of flesh and fur from the beast to consume.

It began feeding in a frenzy, shoving huge fleshy chunks down its gullet as fast as it could.

Luke froze. He was paralyzed with fear. The creature eventually smelled around the air and sensed Luke. It began to look for him with its nostrils. The beast was sniffing the air, finding his scent.

Luke circled around a cage to avoid it but in doing so, he was forced to go deeper into the ship.

He found the cage where the creature had escaped from and decided to climb inside.

The creature approached the cage and Luke got a very good look at it.

The Astronaut inside the other cage coughed. The alien rushed to the source of the sound and looked inside the cage. The Astronaut screamed out in fear and the beast reached inside to attack. Luke appeared from the corner with the laser gun and fired it directly into the beast’s face. The beast, fearing another ambush, screamed and ran out of the broken cockpit windshield.

Luke walked up to the caged astronaut and fired at the electronic locks. He then opened the cage.

The astronaut was so confused, swearing and panicking in russian. He then realised the boy was speaking English so he switched dialects.

“My name is Nikolai, where the fuck am I? I was on a mission, I was on a satellite.” He introduced himself.

“We needed to leave now,” Luke told him. Luke grabbed the medical device he came there for and they both left the ship.

They rushed to find the others.

Luke and Nikolai ran far from the spaceship crash and met with the police officer and the boys. They were all shocked to see the astronaut. He introduced himself. He was very confused about everything.

“Let’s get back to the cars,” Officer Bronson shouted nervously. “This night keeps getting weirder.

Luke used the medical spray on Troy’s wounds and they started to heal.

The police officer was clearly traumatised. He stood there, shaking his head over and over again in disbelief. He didn’t even seem phased by the appearance of the astronaut

Everyone’s clothes were now slightly dirty and torn from their journeys.

The short gray alien waddled towards the group.

He gestured for everyone to follow. He pointed to the direction of the park.

Luke got up and raised his laser rifle. Michael stood up and held up the shotgun, Brian and Adam loaded their pistols.

“I’m fucking killing this thing.” Luke said venomously.

“Not if I fucking kill it first.” Michael said, coldly.

“I’m in.” Brian said.

“For Daniel and Christian.” Adam said, walking into the park.

“And Matthew and Troy,” Michael said.

“If I kill this thing, do I get a prize?” The astronaut said. He pulled an MP5 submachine gun from his astronaut backpack. It had a wire stock that folded out, and a space-age metallic finish. It blended into the backpack quite well. It also had an orange night vision scope.

The teenagers and the alien followed Adam into the theme park.

“I’m going to stay here and take care of the girls.” The officer said.

The officer waited beside Elise, Kayla and Troy. He held his shotgun and watched over them carefully. Elise decided to run after Luke.

The teenagers followed the alien to the water slides section, where Dave was killed.

The alien stopped and pointed into the water. The murky black water was full of reeds and algae, but something had clearly disturbed the water. It was cloudy.

They saw movement and the alien fired into the water. A frog floated to the surface.

Just then, the creature burst out of the water and attacked Brian. It bit him on the shoulder and he cried out in pain.

The creature let go and then slashed at Brian’s face, sending huge scars across it. Brian used the pistol he’d taken from the dead police officer to shoot the monster in the chest with the whole clip, causing the monster to groan in agony.

It sent a powerful kick at Brian, who was launched a long distance, Brian hit the ground hard, he was groaning, so he was definitely still alive.

Michael shot the creature with a shotgun and it punched him through the chest. It left a hole. Michael fell to the floor lifeless.

Next the creature swiped at Luke, the claws nicked his face. They gave him a few shallow cuts along his eye but luckily the claws did not damage anything important. Luke fired his gun full auto and so did the short grey alien. The creature screamed at the pain. It was confused and being burned by the barrage of blue plasma bolts.
