Chapter 13 Welcome to the Capital

Chapter 13 Welcome to the Capital

Alice POV

The rest of the time we spent flying to the capital went by painfully slow. I talked Haliae for a few more hours, we mostly just talked about the capital which was named Varuna. I found out that the city was truly monstrous regarding size and population. The country didn't have an exact count but they knew the city has over 50 million people living in it and it was only considered a mid-sized city. I understand where this world is coming when you consider a population like this. With the number of people, alone jobs must be almost impossible to find especially when skills come into play. But I guess that means more people needing to make money more victims for my dungeon.

After a while, Haliae and I ran out of things to talk about and looked through my new skill descriptions.

Mana Touched - Effect Permanent- You are loved by mana itself, and it wishes to become a part of your very being. But mana takes an infinite number of forms. You must accept the form you wish to become a part of you forever.

Infuse any type mana into body gaining all the mana types benefits and immunity from said type.

Cost- All mana and stamina for 24 hours. You have three days to decide, or mana itself will force you to choose.

"*Sigh* Looks like I have to use the skill to see what happens to me." I had hoped there would have been a list of benefits I could gain from each mana type, but I guess the system isn't that convenient. The cost is steep to if I'm not careful someone could cut my throat and I won't be able to do a damn thing about it. Well anyway, the regeneration skill is obvious enough, just one of the implants the UMRD "gave" me.

Inescapable Eyes lv1- Burn the image of a person into your eyes so that they may never escape you. Your eyes will always see them no matter how far they run they can never escape.

Put a curse on your opponent that will let you know their location at all times and as skill level rises you will be able to see the things around them.

Cost- 10,000 mana per use.

All Seeing Eyes lv1- You see the truth in all things, nothing can hide the truth from your sight. See true selfs any you lay your eyes on.

See the status of any lifeform; skills may block this effect. Amount of information depends on skill level.

Cost- 500 mana and stamina per use.

Both skills have a high cost, but the benefits should be well worth it. All Seeing Eyes will help out a lot with both the dungeon and knowing who I can pick a fight with. I could also use Inescapable Eyes to keep track of Ery if we ever get separated.

The 7 Seals- You hold the power to bring about the apocalypse and the end of all things. You hold the power to judge people, cities, countries even worlds to death. All you must do is open the seals.

Skill Set- Each skill will unlock as the previous skills reach a certain level.

First Seal Conquest Lv1- And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

You have been given the power to create the White Rider. Choose from those who are truly loyal to you or create the White Rider from nothingness. He will be sent out to kill and conquer in your name.  A bow, a crown, and the white horse are given to them as proof of the mission. As the skill level rises the power of the white rider will increase.

Cost- None

Cooldown- Depends on the scale of the task and if White Rider is killed.

Well if that isn't the most cryptic thing I've ever read. But it looks like this is my best skill when it will come to fighting the Draco Kingdom on a large scale. I wish these skill descriptions would be more clear about everything. "What do you guys think about everything?"

"Mana Touched, and The 7 Seals seem to be powerful, but All Seeing Eyes is likely the most useful right now."

"The stat boost was the best thing we got out of this. The skills are cool but us rather not be killed in one hit."

"I agree with the dumb ass."

"I think we should get more souls to keep the bad people away!"

"You guys are pretty quiet today."

"We're not in the mood bye."

"Uh, guys... Did they just ignore me?"

Well ignoring those rude assholes I ended up just playing around with All Seeing Eyes for the rest of the trip and managed to get it to level 7.

Name: Haliae Oceanid Race: Sea Nymph Level: 600+ Exp: ??? Titles: The Wanderer, The Rebel, Land Walker, The Banished, ??? Class: ??? Racial Skill: Water Breathing, Water Pressure Resistance, ???

General information was always good to have but the only useful things I can see are Levels and Racial Skills. But I can't really complain it's still low level but it would be nice to see her class at least. I was surprised at the speed the Wyvern could fly through. From what I can tell we entered a Jet Stream and with a little help from Wind Magic the speed boost probably doubled. Yeah, I decided I want these things in my dungeon ASAP, they'll be fun to have if I make a wind-floor. The king probably won't mind too much if cut ones head off in my dungeon, well at least he won't be able to complain. Fuck I should have made delivering monsters into my dungeon part of the deal!

*Sigh* Nothing I can do about it now. At least the scenery is nice lots of plains, forests, rivers even a few mountains in the distance. But there are no villages or towns as far as I can tell, we passed a small city a few hours ago but nothing else. The country seems kinda barren in my opinion but one thing is for sure there's a shit ton of monsters everywhere. There to far for All Seeing Eyes to appraise them but I think I have an idea about things work in the woods. Deaths Eyes showed that there were areas where mana condensed on the ground and all the monsters were fighting their way towards that point but most were either beaten back or killed by the others.

It's been keeping me entertained for during the trip there were always a few points that I could see all of different types monsters constantly fighting each other. Some points had less mana with weaker monsters, while others had a lot of mana and scary strong monsters. I also saw how one of the monsters at the center of a weaker mana point left and headed toward another stronger point. There greedy little bastards for sure but they would be fun to have in my dungeon all the same.

But that's a job for another day I guess, after another hour the capital came into sight. Well, its walls anyway it took us another half an hour before I could grasp its full size. I couldn't see the actual city past the damn wall it looks at least 600ft tall. The scariest part was that every single section was maned and they looked ready for a siege any second now. But the weirdest part of it all the giant invisible shield surrounding the entire city. I remember reading how Walker tried to build one for Caelum but was never able to meet the mana requirement to cast and maintain it.

We passed over the wall and through the shield easily, but the city was more massive than I thought it would be. From the back of the Wyvern, my guess would be the walls surround the entire city everything from agriculture to military camps. It explains why I didn't see any building or farms outside the city the entire city was self-contained and built to last during an attack. Well, it's nothing compared to Caelum but still impressive for such a medieval world. The interior of the city had no real order to it; there were nice areas and bad areas. Nothing really noteworthy except for the mile of cleared ground behind the wall and a few layers of sub-walls.

When we finally made it to the palace, it was how should I put, it was underwhelming. Don't get me wrong it was a really nice castle it was just stereotypical. Apparently, my disappointment was obvious because Haliae asked:  "The castle not to your liking?"

"No it's nice I just expected a little more I guess."

"I know what you mean when I first came here I was more than a little disappointed. The castles of the sea folk are much grander each with a personality of their own. But I'll tell you, this castle was built for functionality and defense. In other words, it's a death trap for anyone dumb enough to attack the king. Speaking of which they finally caught up."

"I still can't believe you ditched him like that aren't you his guard?"

"Yeah, but I was just the visual deterrent if someone actually attacked I had other guards on the ground and higher in the sky to respond. Not to mention the King is even stronger than me."

"That so."

A few seconds later the king descended and surprisingly with Ery riding on the back saddle... Wait why the hell is there a double saddle on that Wyvern and not mine! I had to sit between Haliae's lap like a child the entire time!

"But Main we look-"

"I know we look seven so shut the fuck up!"

I glared Haliae, but she quickly turned away with a smile clearly plastered on her face. I'm going to get her later, but for now, I'm a little more curious as to why Ery and the King seem so friendly...

"No, he's trying to steal Ery from us!"

"Shut up crybaby, I think he's trying to screw us over keep an-"

"Alice, who are you talking to?"

Oh fuck Haliae heard that I thought they were speaking in my head. "Nothing, just the voices in my head, overreacting. Ery, hurry up we don't have all day!"

"I'm coming; I'm coming."

King Halon grinned and added, "You've become quite whipped haven't you."

"You're the last person who can say that. I still remember when you started courting the late queen, you would have started a war if she asked you to!"

"The only reason why I didn't was that she was far too kind ever to ask that. And that's the reason I loved her so much."

"Sorry to interrupt your little lover's quarrel but can you tell me where the highest concentration of adventures is in this oversized city."

"Sorry but since your already here I have some things I need you to help me take care of. To start, we need to formally announce your rank in front of the aristocracy, meet with the church and most importantly announce to the world you are siding with us against the Draco Kingdom."

*Sigh* This king is going to be a pain in the ass. "Ery your an adventurer where the best place to make my entrance."

"I would say in front of the Adventurer Association Headquarters on Aurora street. There's a large plaza in front of it where all the best guilds have at least a branch and even the weaker guilds try to keep some kind presence there."

"No, we need to announce that you're here and a dungeon is going to open, or there will be an uproar with the public!"

"Not my problem come on Ery. Also, send me one of those Wyverns when I open my dungeon." Ignoring the King bitching I summoned my house and grabbed Ery. The guards around the castle were more than a little surprised to some random child riding a ghost horse, but for some reason, one look at Ery shut them up.

When we made it past the last guard I unsummoned my horse. Ery and I were walking around the city heading towards the Adventurer Association Headquarters, and frankly, I think the city was quite nice. It looks Medieval on the surface, but there are a lot of modern comforts from plumbing to street lights. But there weren't any T.V.'s and Ery was clueless about the internet, so I would put this city's living standard around 1940's if you take away the electricity. Their society was completely mana based from the looks of it.

But what was even more interesting was the extreme diversity of races living here from what I can tell with All Seeing Eyes there were Hobbits, Fairys, Humans, different types of Elves, Dwarfs, Beastmen, and even a separate race called Beastials that were basically walking animals. I even saw a lot of races that I assumed were monsters like Vampires and Oni. "Hey Ery in my old world Vampires and Oni are monsters is it different here?"

"Alice it's best if you don't say that too loud some people will take offense. But yes they are considered monsters by most other countries. Most countries go by the dungeon standard, put simply if you fight it in a dungeon it's a monster end of story. But we're different we believe if an individual can reason with us and doesn't mindlessly kill everything you are a citizen of the country. It doesn't even matter if you are the only intelligent person in your race we will accept you. We famously had a clever goblin that made it high up in the military named Govus the Bandit Hunter. He led his troops around the mountains and whipped out more than few major bandit fortresses."

"Not even a single country on my old planet even came close to that level of acceptance. How the hell do you manage that?"

"Simple the being who founded our country was an Asura. Depending on who you ask Asuras are Demigods or Demons. But one thing was for sure is that the founding Asura led many of the races that were labeled monsters and founded a single city our capital. Varuna was attacked from all sides by the "main races" for nearly a century, but we built the wall that protects the land and the magic shield that protects the sky and Undercity. Well, long story short we prospered and as word spread the "main races" slowly trickled into the city. And by order of Asura we treated them as equals, and after a few generations, they were integrated into our society. Then we slowly started to expand into more monster-infested areas and took in more of the "monstrous races," the rest was history."

"That would never happen on earth it took them nearly going extinct to unite, and they were all humans."

"It was the same for this country to at first many of the "monstrous races" killed outsiders on sight. But eventually the other countries started to attack again, and that war lasted over 160 years, and they were forced to rely on the "main races" that lived in the city for support. The city almost fell during that war, but the main and monstrous races truly became the people of Asura during that time. The first ruler after the Asura left us was surprisingly a Snow Elf named Lyre Asura. She ruled as queen until she gave up the thrown to her youngest son who was half-elf half-Beastial."

"So it took everyone almost getting killed to do the trick, yeah now that's believable. What was the name the of the Asura by the way?"

"He didn't have one; he left us after things stabilized, so we simply call him Asura but most other countries call him Demon Lord Asura."

"How in the hell is this country still standing exactly?"

"Living in the most monster-infested part of the content, if not the world, really helps first off. Any army that comes needs to fight against countless monsters constantly till they are close to one of our cities. And even when they start laying siege, they will be harassed from the back by monsters looking for a quick meal."

"So that's why no one lives outside the cities."

"Exactly, and that's why every city needs to be completely self-sufficient and contained. And the main reason why we have so many adventures and military personnel. At least we are renowned for having the largest and most skilled army in the world constantly fighting monsters has that effect."

"Then why are you having so much trouble fighting against the Draco Kingdom?"

"Because the military constantly needs to wipe out hoards of monsters that get too close or attack our cities. I would say about 3/4's of our military are needed to keep the monsters under control."

"This country is heaven and hell if you think about it."

"But for a majority of our citizens its a death sentence going to another country. Well if they're lucky more likely than not, they would be enslaved. So when you think about it's worth the constant hoards of monsters attacking and being almost universally hated by every other country."

"I guess, so how far are we from the Association?"

"I say another hour at our current pace."

"Why is this city so huge?"

"Because it houses nearly 50 million people."

"Point taken. Now, why were you and the king so close?"

Unauthorized use: this story is on Amazon without permission from the author. Report any sightings.

"He was an old student of mine."

"You taught a king just how famous are you?"

"Killing a corrupted dungeon has that effect on you."

"So what you gonna kill me if I'm corrupted?"

"No, because you would do it for a reason."

I couldn't help but smile and said: "You think way too highly of me."

Ery and I ended up taking a detour towards the end to get a bite to eat from a food stall he knew about. From the looks of it, they are some type of sandwiches, and I think drumsticks. Ery bought me a sandwich and a drumstick and got two sandwiches for himself. I looked at for a little for a while, and apparently, my behavior didn't go unnoticed by Ery who asked: "What don't like it?"

"Um no it just my first time eating meat and anything cooked before. Up till I came to this world I just had nutrients injected into my bloodstream. And when we were in the dungeon I only a fruit outside my house."

For some reason, Ery looked me sad eyes for a little while but just said: "You should enjoy it then."

I took a bite of the drumstick and froze. Again Ery looked me concerned and said "Alice?"

"It's delicious how can food like this exist!"

"Alice calm down your drawing too much attention."

I looked around and saw a few stall owners looking at me with warm smiles and a few passersby laughing a bit. The owner of the stall even came up to give me another drumstick for free. He even said I was the cutest customer he had in a while. I whispered to Ery "It's no problem with my looks people having been staring since we started walking plus they just think I'm strange a child."

Apparently, my albinoism and rainbow eyes are just as rare here as it was on earth. There were some people with a few crazy skin, hair and eye colors like blue, green and pink. But no one was as devoid of pigment like me. After Ery and I finished our meals, we walked a few blocks over and made it to plaza it looked like a military camp more than anything else. It was big with guild halls surrounding it they all had different symbols on them like an eagle flying through fire.

"Isn't this place a bit too plain?"

"Well, the guilds stopped paying for decorations after they realized whatever they put up would be destroyed in a drunken brawl."

"I see, so which one is the Association?"

"The biggest building with the statue of Aurora in front of it."

"Aurora?"

"The founder of the Adventurer Association was a Pure Blood Vampire named Aurora."

"Ok, then Ery are you well known at the guild?"

"Yes, I would say so why?"

"Ok then stay outside when I go in there."

"Why?"

"Because I want to register as an adventurer and then leave. By the way how much is it to register."

"The kingdom pays for registration all you need to do is pass a ranking test. But what reason would you have register as one?"

"Simple the Association resources would be available to me everything from information to guild merchants. Plus if I get word about a rare monster, I could take the quest, then find and kill it when it's in my dungeon."

"I don't think this a good idea. So I'll be going inside too, but I'll pretend you not to know you how does that sound?"

"Fine."

Me and Ery made our way over to the Association Headquarters it had the statue of Aurora out front which looked almost alive in a way. The building itself was large and made of white stones but nothing too interesting. The inside was like Ery had told me all guilds were made an inn, guild reception, and a quest board. Well, not really a board but a crystal that keeps all quests stored kinda like a computer. Ery headed towards the bar area and grabbed a table. He was almost immediately surrounded by people and from what I can hear they mostly asked about him being captured by the terrifying Pale Rider. I walked to the reception area the line went quickly mostly people accepting or turning in completed quests. There was a lizard man registering and he was taken through a back door to what I assume is a testing area.

When it was my turn the receptionist, who was a bird beastwoman with eagle-like eyes called me over and said: "How can I you help little one?"

Why do they always have to call me little!? "I would like to register please."

"I see but may I ask your name and race."

"Alice and I'm... Human."

After I said human, the receptionist looked at me concerned and said: "Well, Alice I don't recommend a human child registering so young. You sho-"

I don't have time for this, so I cut her off "Is there an age requirement?"

"Well, no but-."

"Then I would like to register."

Looking a little defeated the receptionist said: "Then please follow me."

She took me through the same back door as the lizardman, and as we walked down the hall she asked: "Why do you want to become an adventurer so young? Where are your parents they must be worried?"

"I never had parents until recently and being an adventurer suits my needs."

"I see well anyway you'll need to pass a ranking test against a few monsters. We can test up to High B after that you'll need to finish ranked quest or submit to stat evaluation."

A stat evaluation yeah that's never going to happen. "Ok sounds easy enough any rules?"

"No everything is allowed, but we can't help you at all during your fight. You should reconsider this child even if you are about to die I cannot help you."

"Don't worry about me."

We walked over to the testing area a room filled with stages that could be isolated by a magic barrier. I could see the see the lizardman fighting against a group of kobolds and winning. He was about to win when he got overconfident, and only half killed one of them. As soon he turned away the little beast stabbed him in the spine, and he was quickly overwhelmed and killed. The receptionist turned to me "You see this is life or death; please reconsider."

"Which platform should I go on?"

The receptionist only frowned and pointed to a platform, and the barrier was set up. An elf who was giving the lizardman his test walked over and said: "You'll be taking the Low E rank test depending on how well you do we can skip to a Low D rank after. If you finish that you can pick the next level test you want up to High B but be careful that guy skipped up to High C."

When he was done talking a magic circle appeared, and two regular wolfs were summoned. A little boring compared to my other fights so I'll end this quickly sorry puppies. I froze one wolf with Ice magic and smashed it with a hammer of earth. The other one could sense the danger and tried to run, but I incinerated it with fire magic.

The examiner looked impressed, and the receptionist who brought me here looked completely shocked. I just smiled and said, "I think we can skip to D rank now."

The examiner nodded and summoned a few golems. I'm starting to feel like this entire test is going to boring. I cut one in half with wind magic and decided it was time to use my scythe and chains to destroy the rest. These golems were crap compared to mine their movements were so rigid and slow.

Examiner spoke up when I was done "Impressive it's not often that I get see someone have a weapon summoning skill. Now, what rank test would like to attempt."

Again I smiled and said: "High B please."

The examiner nodded and summoned a single Wyvern. I was a little surprised that I would see one so soon and that it could be considered a B Rank monster. Well, whatever it should be an easy win I've been killing A ranks since day one. I activated True Suffering, and The Presence of Inevitability and the Wyvern instantly started to roar in agony. This time I decided to use a bit of death magic and corroded its body into nothingness. As soon as I was done, I got a few notifications.

Alert- Level has increased to 252

Alert- Your mount "Unnamed" wishes to absorb a portion of the Wyverns soul.

Yes/No

Well, that's interesting, to say the least, I didn't think my horse could ask me anything, but I don't see why not plus I have another idea. "Yes"

As soon as I said the word my horse came out and ran towards the spot where the Wyvern had died and in front of everyone it began to change. It turned to mist and reformed into a Wyvern. It began to fly around before again returning to my body. I really should give you a name if memory serves the Pale Rider from my world was the named Thanatos.

Would you like to name your mount "Thanatos."

Yes/No

"Yes"

Your mount has been assigned the name "Thanatos."

Well, that was a little random, but it was good to figure that stuff out. Now to try out my little idea I used my soul skills in the area where the Wyvern died, and sure enough, I found its soul still lingering there and quickly absorbed a portion of it. I'll summon it later since the examiner looks shocked and the receptionist looks like she's about to faint. I deactivated my skills and walked towards them and asked: "So did I pass?"

Examiner stared at me then smiled "Yes you most certainly do it's a shame that's the highest test available. For a Blessed of Mania, this must have been child's play."

"Oh, how'd you know I was blessed?"

"It isn't the first time I've seen death magic in my younger days I fought against another blessed like yourself. It was the main reason why I retired actually. Evra will take it from here I expect to hear good things about you..."

"Alice."

"I see Alice feel free to come back here anytime this also our main training area, just ask for me, Senair is my name. Hopefully, I will have something that can challenge you by then."

"I look forward to it."

The receptionist Evra walked me back to the counter where she gave me a crystal card with my name and rank on it. She explained how to get quests from the other crystals and that she would need to record it for it to be formally assigned to me. As well as some other services the guild provided like information and guild discounts with a few merchants. I was filling out some paperwork for when I noticed Ery still talking about the time he spent captured by the "Evil Pale Rider" to a bunch of people and one particular drunk guy was talking a little too much shit.

"If it were me I could kill the Rider with my eyes closed. Haha to think the Dungeon Slayer got caught so easily."

"Bull shit your just a Mid C rank I doubt you could even look at the Rider without shitting yourself."

"Fuck you I could beat the Riders ass and then destroy the dungeon they found it in."

I know this guy is just trying to sound cool, but god damn how is he managing to hit every subject that makes me want to kill him.

"Main don't do anything stupid."

"No fuck this guy he gotta die."

"I'm with the bitch on this one."

"Main Alice I think he's a mean person who wants to kill us. So we should kill him before he can kill us right?"

"Evra whats the rules about killing another adventurer?"

"There isn't one for the Association as a whole, but there is for particular guilds. But in general, we go by the rules of the country we are in."

"So my adventurer status won't be in danger?"

"No only the Association Master can take it away, and that only happens if some attacks or betrays the Association as a whole. But most guilds will hunt down and kill anyone who kills one of there members."

"Good to know I'll see you later."

"Bye Alice stay safe out there."

I walked over to Ery and said: "I'm all done here let's go."

"That was quicker than I thought it would be what rank did you get?"

"High B."

"Well, that is the max Senair can test."

"Wait this brat is a High B bullshit!" Why the fuck did this drunk prick open his mouth now everyone is staring.

"Yes is that an issue."

"You shouldn't lie to people like that no way a brat can be B rank."

"I am, so piss off."

"You little shit."

"Now now calm down everyo-."

"Ery stay the fuck out of this."

Ery went Pale when he realized how this could and probably would end but he shut up. At least he's learning not to interfere when I get like this. "Hey, brat show some respect to the Dungeon Slayer!"

"Vilar calm down she's just a kid." So this pricks name is Vilar.

"Shut up! Hey, brat show me your ID card, and I'll believe you."

"I don't care if you believe me or not but if you touch me or my card you lose the hand."

"Yeah right give it here. Wait, what... MY FUCKING HAND!!!!" Yup took that pricks hand with death magic I warned him no regrets here.

"Now then you managed to really piss me off so leave and I might let you live."

"Fuck you!!!"

This moron tried to draw his sword, so I summoned scythe. The prick stopped when he saw my scythe but looks like he was too drunk and angry to care. He tried to swing at me but missed. So I swung my scythe, and with strength over 1,200 I cut his through cheap looking sword and cut him in half at his waist. After that, some people were laughing, and others looked impressed. But a few ran out of the Association probably the prick friends running to get the guards, so I better be quick.

"Ery lets go open my entrance things are going to get crazy in a little bit."

We ran out the building, and Ery spoke: "You didn't have to kill him."

"His fault not mine. Also, I think I controlled myself pretty well back there. If it were up to the voices, I would have killed him when he said he would destroy my dungeon."

"*Sigh* Let's just open up your entrance and leave."

We ran to the center of the plaza, and I activated my skill Dimensional Entrance Creation. I was surprised to see not just a portal form but an exact copy of the entrance I created earlier appear, it even had my half-dead tree. I and I'm assuming everyone else received a notification about what had happened.

Alert- A dungeon entrance has been created in your city. Will it bring riches or destruction?

Needless to say, there was a massive uproar when they saw my entrance and notification but nothing I can do about it. Oh, it looks like the guards are coming and a lot of them at that. A few adventures are heading our way so I might need a little backup.

"Ery I'll be back in a second."

"Wait where are you going!?"

Ery really needs to learn how to just go along with the situation. I ran through my entrance and opened a portal leading to my house. I ordered all 10 of my Oak Guard to come out and defend my entrance.

"What the hell were you doing!" Wow, Ery is super angry at me.

"Getting back up."

"What back... Why the hell are Oak Guard coming out!!!"

"There the backup of course. Now guys form a circle around the entrance and kill anyone who attacks Ery or me!"

"Alice we just need to talk to them! Why are you escalating the situation so much!"

"Not even going to lie I'm just having a lot of fun right now."

"You call this fucking fun! When we're done with this, we're going to have a long conversation about your behavior!"

"Yeah like that's going to happen."

"ALICE!!!"

"Ok, ok we will have a talk."

Well, I might have taken this a bit too far...

"Main honestly what is the point of all this."

"To have a good fight of course."

"*Crying* Be quiet dummy Main make all the bad people go away!"

"Main this is our chance to show everyone who's boss. Let's fuck them up!"

"Guys you are not helping right now."

Well, whatever all my Oak Guard are in position and from the looks of it were surrounded, but no is moving right now. Looks like a mix adventurers and guards for the most part. If one of these guys starts coming at us, it'll be a chain reaction. It looks like one of the guards is coming towards and according to my eyes, he's a human I haven't seen a pure human in the city so far. "Surrender now, and no harm will come to you!"

I summoned Thanatos who was in the form of a Wyvern, but I made him change back into a horse for now. I hopped on and flanked by two Oak Guards I slowly rode over to the guard. But when the guard saw this, he yelled out "Stop in the name of the city guard identify yourself!"

I activated Deaths Eyes fully, and my eyes began to glow. And a mad smile grew on my face, what can say this is really entertaining for me. I saw the guard step back a bit, but I wasn't done yet I activated The Presence of Inevitability next and formed my aura of Death and Ice magic. At this point, the guard turned tail and ran back to another guard in fancier armor who I could only assume was his superior. The fancy guy started to make his a few through the crowd, but before I made it to the front, I sent out a message to everyone in the plaza.

You all stand on the edge of death; you face the Pale Rider. She has opened a portal to her dungeon yet you spit the face of her generosity. Any further attempts impede her will cost the lives you all.

You got to love this skill the entire plaza went dead silent. But now how am I going to wrap this up...

*Boom* Oh come on who blew up the plaza no wait. It's the king good he can help me get out of this! Scratch that he looks even angrier than Ery.

"I let you leave for one second, and I have to race over here to stop a bloodbath from happening!"

It took a second but everyone to snap out there shock but everyone immediately kneeled except for the fancy guard who ran over kneeled in front of the king. "Your majesty thank the gods you are here that girl is the Pale Rider and she has opened a portal a dungeon. We must-"

"Are you the captain of this area?"

"Yes, your majesty but what-"

"Tell all of your men to leave and don't allow anyone into the plaza."

"But your maj-"

"Captain do not make me repeat myself."

"Yes, your majesty!"

"I'll have five of my royal guards assist you now go."

"Yes, you-"

"I said go!"

With that, the plaza was cleared with the help Royal Guards. Now I just have to deal with an extremely powerful and pissed off King that looks like he's about to rip my head off. I think I had a better chance fighting the guards...
