Agent VV’s POV
Nico Williams, black sharp hair, he looked pretty much his age standing at 5’8. He wasn’t so muscular, at least he wasn’t lanky. He harbored a bit of mischief that contrasted his innocent demeanor I guess.
“How was your night?” I asked him. He was lost in awe whilst looking at the various uniforms and suites displayed on different mannequins.
“Thought it was all a nightmare.” He said under his breath.
“Look, I know this wasn’t your ideal profession, but come on you’re not that dumb are you? I mean, I basically drugged you, took you to my apartment, we fucking flew in a private jet and then took a helicopter to get here. Did you expect some kinda legal paying white collar job?”
“There’s no way I’m gonna get Liza back as an assassin working for some evil mastermind named Malevolence.” He disappointedly said.
“Trust me, you will.” I said as I patted him on the shoulders. I continued, “Remember it’s top secret so don’t go yapping about it to Liza or anyone.” I left him to wander about the place as I attended to other things.
Nico’s POV
Agent VV, short black hair that left out silky strands, small plumped red lips, pretty eyes and an small buttoned nose. I would’ve called her cute but she didn’t act cute, she was tough skinned. I wandered about the place admiring the high tech equipment’s, suits and machinery’s. Something shiny caught my eyes and just as I was about to touch it, a female voice from behind yanked my hands.
“Don’t fucking touch that.” Isabella said whilst looking up and down at me.
“You must be Isabella.” I said.
“And you must be the new recruit.” She replied.
“I’m Nico,”
“I know,” she walked away from me lusciously, taking each step while her ass moved along with her strides.
I fancied her, I figured if VV was tough to get, maybe Isa would be easier. “Nico, over here I wanna show you something!” VV called out.
Agent VV stood in a state-of-the-art training room, a place where shadows merged with cutting-edge technology. I was about to experience a world I had never imagined. The training room was a marvel of design, with holographic displays, adjustable terrain, and walls that could simulate any environment. The lights dimmed, and a holographic cityscape emerged around us, casting the room in an eerie urban glow. Agent VV, a supposed professional with years of experience in the field, was an imposing figure. She was dressed in a sleek black tactical suit, and her eyes held a piercing intensity.
“Welcome to your first ever combat training, Nico," she said, her voice as cool as her demeanor. "Today, I’m going to teach you how to fight, how to assassinate, and how to survive."
I had some training in self-defense, but I was far from an expert. I had the heart, but VV had the skills. She moved with effortless grace, demonstrating techniques that left me in awe. I quickly realized that this was a world beyond what I had ever known.
Hours turned into days as we trained relentlessly. VV pushed me to my limits, refining my combat skills, and teaching me how to use high-tech weaponry. She was a master of tactics, disarming me with ease whenever I attempted to strike.

Frustration grew within me as I struggled to keep up. I was not a bad fighter, but Agent VV was in a league of her own. Each defeat stung, but I was determined to improve.
One day, after a grueling session, Agent VV brought in a series of programmed bots, each designed to simulate different types of adversaries.
“Say hello to my friend’s ,” VV teased.
“There’s no way in hell I’m gonna fight those things.” I immediately gave up.
“You have no choice.” She said. She ordered them to lunge at me, they were ruthless and relentless and I faced defeat after defeat. My body ached, and my confidence waned.
But as the days passed, things began to change. My movements became more fluid, my aim more precise. I had learned to adapt, to anticipate the bots' tactics, and to strike with precision. Slowly but surely, I started winning against the mechanical opponents.
“Take that you programmed peice of shit!” I said with confidence.
With newfound confidence, I turned to face Agent VV. “You got a whole lotta confidence though,” VV teased me with a smirk.
“Try me,” I said smirking at her. Our eyes locked, and I launched into a series of calculated moves. The battle was fierce, but despite my improvement, VV bested me once again.
As we caught our breath, Isabella and Imani who had been observing us training, couldn't help but share a mocking laugh. Isabella, her voice dripping with sarcasm, remarked, "Oh, Nico, you're really showing us your progress. Maybe one day, you'll even stand a chance."
Imani chimed in, “Maybe you should stick to fighting bots. They seem to be more your speed.”
My pride was wounded but my determination undeterred. I clenched my fists and nodded. “Good night,” I said to them as I headed for my room.

Uncle Tapers Pizza Place.
Liza’s POV
After a hectic day at work I decided to visit an old place I usually visited whenever I wanted to eat Pizza. Uncle Tapers had the best pizza place in town, it was only right I had to visit his restaurant even though Nico; my ex boyfriend worked there.
“Liza! It’s been so long, where have you been. I always asked Nico about you.” Uncle Tapers said with delight and an open arm.
“Uncle Tapers, it’s so good to see you.” I responded with a broad smile. “Speaking of Nico, isn’t he supposed to be here?” I wondered.
Uncle Tapers lowered his gaze and sighed, “Oh, the poor man’s finished. He lost his determination and will power to do anything productive, so I had to let him go.”
“Oh my God,” My voice was heavy and my heart sank. Nico had been going through a rough patch and now this had to happen? I had no idea it would come to this. “When was this?” I asked.
“About three weeks ago.”
“Almost a month? Jesus Christ!” I said with shock. I quickly left his restaurant to check up on him at his apartment.
“Where are you going Liza?” Uncle Tapers called out.
“I won’t take long.” I said. I hurriedly flagged down a taxi. “Just few blocks away, drive.” I ordered.
I got to his apartment and knocked for minutes at his doorstep, “Nico if you’re in there please open up. Nico I’m serious it’s me Liza.” After a while of knocking, I realized no one was inside his apartment. Fortunately for me, one of his neighbors came out of her apartment so I seized the opportunity and asked her about Nico.
“Nico, I haven’t seen him for the past three weeks maybe.” She replied with a shrug.
“What the fuck is going on…” I wondered. “Are you sure?” I asked her again.
“Yeah, affirmative.”
“When-when was the last time you saw him?” At this point, I became worried.
“He went out, he didn’t tell anyone. He just stepped out and never came back.”
“Shit!” My concerned deepened and I decided to make I call I didn’t want to; Nico’s elder brother Rodrygo who was my boyfriend.
“Rodrygo, I can’t find Nico anywhere. He was fired by uncle Tapers because of his negligence towards his work and his neighbors haven’t seen him for the past three weeks. Something’s wrong.” I said to him through the phone. Even though both brothers didn’t have good communication skills, at least I expected slight concern from Rodrygo but instead, I was met with an unsettling response.
“Maybe he’s just off on one of his little adventures again,” Rodrygo said casually. “He’ll eventually turn up,” he added.
Calling Rodrygo was useless. So, as a junior detective, I had learned to trust my instincts. I decided to investigate Nico's disappearance behind Rodrygo's back. I knew that I couldn't rely on him for answers, so I delved into the mystery on my own.
“I’ll find you Nico,” I said to myself.
