Gesus tripped on a Burger man. A walking feast, their body a delicious buffet of flavors and textures. A symphony of flavors, each bite a harmony of juicy meat, tangy sauce, and crisp vegetables.
Or so what Gesus thought.
The Burger man was one of many common sights. “Food People” or rather “THINGS” some people called them.
Mutated beyond belief, these creatures once humans have traded their mortal souls to become “Food People.”
In return for giving up their humanity, they were no longer bound by certain humanistic needs.
They were free from the demons known as hunger and thirst, but in return they will never taste food again.
An ironic fate of the food people.
The Burger man stood back up brushing the dust of his rags. It surprised Gesus that the man’s Burger features were unsullied by the fall.
“Ah! Stupid Kid! Ya, got any idea wa-”
Drool flowed uncontrollably out of the mouth representing the immense desire to eat from Gesus.
The Burger man immediately knew what the almost predatory look Gesus represented. It was far too common for Food People to be hunted down to be eaten after all.
“Ah shit!”
The Burger man felt his bun sizzle as he quickly reached inside his rag. He pulled out a dagger of sorts, it was a crude blade with 3 prongs.
Gesus, who laid on the ground, readjusted her eyes and saw the weapon.
“A-Awe fork?” Gesus blurted out.
The Burger man lunged forward, aiming the dagger for Gesus' chest.
However, she was prepared and quickly dodged to the side while kicking out with her foot with surprising force, causing him to lose balance.

Seizing the opportunity, Gesus got up and delivered a swift punch to his face.
The Burger man stumbled back, but quickly regained his footing and lunged at her once more with the dagger.
Gesus retaliated with her own weapon, the Infinity Sword.
To the eyes of many, including the Burger man, the sword manifested from the palm of her hand, as intense heat radiated from it.
A silver streak brusted out of the hilt exposing the blade, expanded as far as the eye could see.
Its speed caused the air to ignite, adding to the intense roar of the blade as it extended several miles per second.
For a second it seemed as though only the hilt of the sword was visible, the blade seemingly dipped in and out of the burning inferno.
Gesus's blade moved swiftly, and before the Burger man could react, she sliced him across the stomach, cutting him in two.
Ketchup spewed from his mouth as he gargled at his own mustard.
As Burger man felt an intense heat from his chest, with what little life he had he looked down towards his stomach.
Only to see a raging fire devouring everything in its wake with a fierce hunger.
From a distance, a muffled voice could be heard calling out to Gesus.
General Bottle came screaming down. “GESUS! STOP! STOP THE FIRE!”
Gesus, who had been staring blankly at the burning corpse, was awakened by Bottle's voice and quickly searched for something to extinguish the flames.
Bottle arrived and grabbed a piece of cloth, presumably laundry, that had been hanging nearby, and smothered the flames on the corpse.
Breathless, Gesus was worried that she had made a mistake.
Although Bottle didn't seem to mind when they killed bandits or animals out in the wasteland, she feared that he might not approve of her killing the Burger man.
She clutched her ragged clothes, fearing the consequences of her actions.
Bottle removed the cloth and revealed that the Burger man's body was still intact, at least the most important part was.
Without a second thought, Bottle threw the cloth away and sat down to eat the Burger man's head.
(NOM!)
"Eh?" Gesus responded, frozen in shock and surprise.
(Gulp!) "W-what? It's food, you know."
Gesus had never eaten a "THING" before.
Although she had seen them in battle in the distant past, she had never considered eating them.
Her orders were simply to destroy them, and she received most of her nutrients from supplements and liquid juices.
Sitting across from Bottle, she looked at the Burger man’s corpse.
Her mouth watered, and thoughts raced through her mind. What would it taste like? What would it feel like? Bottle raised a piece of the Burger and said, "Well, come on, eat."
Gesus took a bite of the Burger and her eyes closed in pleasure.
The juicy patty, melted cheese, and crispy bacon blended together in perfect harmony.
She savored the flavors, letting them dance on her tongue.
She took another bite and let out a moan of pleasure.
The bun was soft and warm, and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. She couldn't help but smile. This was the best burger she had ever tasted.
She took her time eating, enjoying every bite and not wanting the experience to end.
The juices ran down her chin, but she didn't care. This burger was worth it.
As she finished the last bite, Gesus let out a contented sigh.
She leaned back against a wall, her stomach full and her taste buds satisfied. She knew she would remember this burger for a long time to come.
