Stats and studying

*Authors note: This one may be ruff sorry about that I had to learn to make tables and its already late so here it is I think im going to take out a few tables down the road as well and before I post the next section I was wondering If you the readers would rather I break up the level grinding with learning new skills and guild stuff or sprint through most of the job gringing to get it over with or you really dont care and wish Id shut up. If you have an opinion PM me or leave a post I do check but no one has posted as of today.*

With that, everything turned white and he was sitting in front of a large fountain dressed in regular peasant clothes. He was surrounded by buildings and villagers.

This must be Albion.

However, Spencer was wondering how far this level of detail could go.

How did they program all of this?

He could not believe it. The surrounding mountains. The fences and buildings, even the people who were wandering around…

It was  totally different from the first Atalok world

He could feel his leather shoes, his cotton shirt on his shoulders his leather pants that seemed to be sticking. The cool wind  whooshing by his ears, the warmth of the sun hitting his face and even the smell of food such as fresh bread and pies being prepared somewhere in the distance.

In the original Atalok, the world looked closer to a game than reality the world had a waxy look to everything. The sense  of touch was no different then when he was in the real world where in the original game it always felt as if you were feeling everything through thick clothing. However, the two largest differences were smell and taste being able to smell the medieval type air and taste the air even something simple like water had a taste.

Seeing a signal tower that was taller than anything else he could see he climbed it when he finally reached the top he could see the edges of the world where after that it ended It was, after all, it was a training world. Sitting there and began to think.

There are three ways to start my game here first is to go and raise my stats by training by the sounds of it the higher they are the harder they will be to level up later. The second is to go to the library and learn as much information as possible as I don't need food I could live there and gain a large amount of knowledge then I could go train or something else. 3 find some jobs to make money then I can go and study at night or just work. 4 use my ability to copy moves from trainers around here, there should be one representative from each of the basic ones, after gaining them I might have a better chance of at the previous three. Option 2 seems the best for now. Better check my stats before I go and try to find the Library.

Getting up and   descending the tower

As Spencer began to walk around the City he felt at ease everyone he talked to seemed helpful and eventually he found an old man having difficulty wheeling a cart. Spencer approached and started to talk to him

“Hello, there sir do you need any help?”

“No, not really”

“I see then could you help me It's my first time here and I'm looking for the library do you know how to get there”

”I might grab this cart and I'll lead the way.”

“Sounds great thank you ”

with that, Spencer wheeled the cart for what seemed like an hour when they finally reached the library.

“do you need me anymore or are you ok to finish pulling this on your own.”

“I should be fine”

“If you need help with anything you can ask me.”

“I'll keep that in mind”

With that Spencer entered the library Hundreds upon thousands of books lined the walls however what spencer wanted were a few specific books history of the world and the governing parties involved as he approached the front desk a small man was behind the counter looking him over he realized it was a Hobbit.

“excuse me can you help me find some books I'm looking for”

The hobbit looked up from his pile of books

“What do you need”

“Almost everything on the history of the world as well as the groups that control it”

“Bwahahaha that's  hundreds of thousands of tomes  over 1000's of pages of detailed information”

“I see, Do you have a study room”

“Do you want a normal one or a time displacement room”

“!?!... what's a time displacement room”

“It as the name says is a room that distorts and displaces time our rooms here are some of the best that can disrupt up 1000 times but you still need to eat sleep and go to the bathroom.”

“That sounds great but how much would that be”

“around a nickel”

Pulling up his inventory he saw a copper, nickel, silver, gold and a platinum coin representing his total amount of money which came out to 1 nickel (1 platinum is worth 100 gold, 1 gold is worth 1000 silver, 1 silver is worth 100 nickels, 1 nickel is worth 100 coppers.

“Would I be able to work here and use the room in my off time I don't see anyone else here”

“Well I'd have to see your stats here's a stat card It only gives your stat numbers so don't worry about anything else”

“Ah I was wondering about that”

Spencer quickly took the card after seeing the numbers he showed the hobbit

“what is this your stats are exceedingly high for your level we would love to hire you”

A screen flashed in front of Spencer [Job librarian] [description] a librarian is one who knows the most about books scrolls and tomes and where they are held however a librarian has to not only put books back where they belong but assist those who wish to find research materials.

“What do you need me to do”

“don't you want to know how much it pays?”

“I guess I should know”

“10 coppers a day”

“what can that buy me”

“well a room costs 2 coppers for a low-cost room food is usually 1 or two coppers as well for cheap food”

“hmm tell you what let me use a study time distortion room as my board and if you can pick me up some food I only need 4 coppers a day”

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

“Wha are you serious”

“Yep I'm more interested in learning than money right now”

“Alright then can you please go into the back and memorize the organization system then when we close at 5 and open at 8 am”

with that Spencer began to work running around placing books where they belonged skimming every book he could as he ran around returning books after the first day he finally began to realize how big the library was looking at the records 90 million books were out front 60 million were in need of translation or repair and a further 30 million needed to be rewritten before they turned to dust. At the end of the first week Spencer had read half of the 90 million books with his special memory however he now had a splitting headache as he had crammed too much information into his head he had however raised his INT to 32 and WIS increased to 20 he gained that by figuring out he shouldn't read that many books In such a short time He also unlocked a New stat.

[Knowledge] This Stat does not affect any active stats such as WIS or INT, however, It represents the amount of Information you have acquired If It gets high enough in a specific field it is possible to request a grant from a ruler of a nation for the task (Exploration, Experiments, and Prototyping.)  Slowing his pace to 20 million a week thinking about how the time dilation was weird to get used to.

So every day is 24 hours same as the outside divided by ten is 2.4 hours out of the real day so a week here is about 17 hours I should check my sub stats and see how I can level them. My INT went up really fast the first week but now not so much. However that makes sense the higher it gets the harder it will get

Ok, so I'm really good at memorizing obviously and moving my body and strategy. I'm a Idiot at music, puzzles and i can't tell the difference between  a moose and a pine cone. At least I'm above average in the other categories but that depends on what she meant by average as well. So what about Wisdom
