Day 3
I woke up slightly earlier than the rising of the sun. I yawned quite longer than the usual and unconsciously stretched my arms up.
< You have increased the following due to yesterday’s activities: >
[Strength 2]
[Agility 4]
[Dexterity 4]
[Endurance 5]
‘…huh? Anyway, it was great sleep indeed!’
My body filled with energy, I can feel my stamina this day is quite higher than the usual.
And of course, it made me happy!
The falls was noisy as ever when I drank some cold fresh water, washed my face and gurgled some in my mouth.
I initially thought of taking a bath but I reluctantly denied myself from it and went on my way to find something to eat.
Since the bush with the berries was already exhausted yesterday, I need to find another source of food. And that is~ Fish!
Gathering some firewood for the fire and lighting it up. I went to catch a fish with my barehands. Though spear fishing is good too, barehands is much faster.
Back home, I was doing this already so I have experience besides it was many leagues easier than catching a snake.
A few moments later of staying in the water with hands inside not moving, an unknowing fish passed by between my hands and expertly caught it!
I caught five more fish before I started to clean and roast them by the fire.
Waiting for the fish to cook, I started working on the next step, shaping the swords into an appropriate length and curvature.
I first worked out on the short sword and stopped midway to turn the fish that I was cooking.
This step was really tiring though since concentration was needed to attain the desired shaped without ruining the wood. And you know, mental exhaustion is much heavier than physical exhaustion so stamina depletes faster in this stage.
Hearing my stomach grumbles, I stopped and waited for the fish to be cooked.
< You have eaten a roasted fish, Hunger Level increased from 0% to 100% >
‘…eh?...’
It appeared and disappeared again. What was that?
I ate one first, and then continued again with the short sword. The other four was then moved away from the fire placing them into the slab of wood where the part I was now working on was extracted.
Eating two more fishes, finally, the rough state of the sword was finished.
Moving on to the final stage, detailing and smoothing the edge using a stone that I found earlier to use as a substitute for a fine sand paper, It was finished right after the other remaining fishes was consumed.
The end product is an un-lacquered wooden replica of a Japanese short sword without the tsuba or the guard it has an almost perfect curvature and even
Finishing the wooden curved short sword, suddenly the weird thing appeared again.
A strange sky blue window appeared before me stating:
< You just have crafted a unique item! >
< Proficiency gained! >
< Please name your creation! >
‘What-the-heck-is-this-things?’
‘Where did those things came from?’
Curious about the thing in front of me that has been appearing and disappearing even yesterday, I thought something stupid.
I looked at the right, it was still there.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Left, still there.
Top, bottom, left, right.
The thing was still there!
“Whaat the hell is this!!!” I screamed.
(Not aware of games like RPG, he doesn’t even recognize the thing.)
As if the thing in front of me is being sarcastic, a new one popped up stating:
< Do you want to name your creation as “Whaat the hell is this!!!” ? Yes or No>
“Huh? What?” I said as I read that.
< Do you want to name your creation as “Whaat the hell is this!!!” ? Yes or No >
“No! Who would like their creation to be named like that?”
“Then, use wooden wakizashi!”
< Do you want to name your creation as “Wooden Wakizashi” ?>
“Yes!”
< Your created item is now acknowledge as “Wooden Wakizashi”>
< Please choose it’s classification! >
[ ~ Weapon ]
[ ~ Armor ]
[ ~ Consumable ]
[ ~ Accessory ]
“Of course, it is a weapon!”
< Your created item is now acknowledge as a weapon >
< Please choose it’s weapon classification! >
[ ~ …
Without even waiting for the strange thing from continuing the list I cut it and said…
“Short sword!”
< Your created item is now acknowledged as a Short sword! >

“…”
Not understanding a thing about the magical words I was reading, I tried to ask the floating thing but to my dismay even before I have utter a word the strange floating thing disappeared.
“… …that was weird….”
Putting myself together again, I catch another batch of fish. But this time anticipating that I might ate more than five, I tried to catch fifteen.
I caught them but I had to wander to different spots from time to time since they had already been alerted of my presence.
Anyhow, the place was abundant with fish so it doesn’t really matter.
It was already mid noon when I have finished the long sword, and like with the short sword the strange thing appeared again but this time I was already ready so I am not caught surprised.
