Adrian Adley has just been given a very unpleasant and dangerous job: running a boarding school for underage wizards. Magic is a tremendously risky thing to work with if you don’t know what you’re doing, and children honestly don’t know any better. Combine that with all the petty bickering and schoolyard rivalries a bunch of children in one place are prone to, and you’ve got a recipe for casualties. Making matters even worse, Adrian’s predecessor shouldn’t have even been allowed near children, let alone allowed to run a school. Even aside from his extremely questionable hiring decisions, Humbernot was a criminally negligent drunkard who embezzled much of the school’s budget. Even with Adrian’s truly supernatural talents at bureaucracy, it remains to be seen if he can fix this place. This story has been completed.
