Bubbles woke to someone tapping his head. He couldn't make out what it was saying. Was it a dragon? Bubbles couldn't tell. He slowly opened his eyes and let the harsh light of the sun settle onto his eyes. By now he could make out a few words.

"Bubbles? You awake? C'mon, dude." Bubbles slowly opened his eyes as the world spun around him. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness of the cave, he could see the concerned faces of his friends come into focus.

"I'm awake," Bubbles croaked. Loud cheers came from all over the cave.

"He's alive!" Cloud shouted.

"I told you so," Silverstream boasted.

"'Alive'? What do you mean, 'alive'? Of course I was alive," Bubbles questioned as he sat up. The cave went silent. Everyone stared at him.

"What?"

Spring slowly walked over to Bubbles and hugged him.

"Oh, sweetheart. You've been asleep for two weeks."
