I process the information I just got. Apparently, reaching 100k is a celebration… But the system just showed me the word balloons and not actual balloons…
Anyways, I'm now an Abyssal Draenix. Big edgelord energy. I feel like my muscles are stronger, but I also feel thinner. My tail has changed from black feathers to a long black scaled tail. I wiggle it around a little bit and feel the water washing my scales. It feels pretty good. I spend a few minutes just swimming around and playing in the water. It's almost instinctual for me to do this for some reason. Maybe the zilla DNA.
Apparently my radiation signature is back on because of me going unconscious, because as I surface and jump out of the water to do that flip thing whales do, I see three jaegers running towards me. I choose to ignore them and keep playing because I feel like I have way too much energy.

Lara Miller is leading the team of three jaegers currently heading towards Seraph. She was an American native before moving to Meridian City after the kaiju attacked. She's rather impulsive and hard-headed. She usually rushes headfirst into kaiju, regardless of how big they are. This time is no different. She heard about an enormous energy signature, nearly as big as the breach. This thing was able to conceal its entry and only recently showed up on sensors. It was responsible for the deaths of four titans apparently, with only one having been witnessed.
As she is dropped off near the signature, she starts running towards it, ignoring her two teammates.
"HEY, MILLER! SLOW DOWN!"
"Why don't you speed up, you old bastard?!"
The third teammate stays quiet and just follows her.
She runs over just in time to see the kaiju jump up out of the water.
She sees a red beak burst through the wate, slick black feathers cutting through like swords. Her feathers seem to swallow the sunlight greedily like a black hole. The beautiful scene in front of her causes Miller to stop in her tracks and stare at the beautiful creature in front of her.
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
"Captain Miller?"
She ignores the incoming call from her teammate and continues watching the show in front of her. Seraph continues swimming around playfully, jumping out every now and then. For a few seconds, Miller is entranced. But, she quickly breaks out of her trance as she remembers what these kaiju did to her family…
It was a normal day, she had just gotten back from school. The power to her house had gone out, and her parents radio was broken, so they didn't get the call about the kaiju. By the time the news came to them, it was too late. The kaiju and jaeger ended up fighting in her neighborhood, where the kaiju stepped on the family car with her mom, dad, and sister. She was seconds away from getting into it with them, but she had forgotten her stuffed bear. Had she not done that, they would probably still be alive.
Anger consumes her as she rushes forward once more and takes the sword out from her gauntlet. She's a few dozen meters away from the kaiju as she sees a blue light start lighting up from underwater.
…
"Oh fuck!"

Seems like these humans don't value their lives, because they started running at me with their swords out. For a second I thought they were just gonna watch me play, but I guess not. I start charging up and atomic breath, because I know a certain alien species is watching me during this fight and I don't wanna give all my cards away. I'll probably go through the breach one day and fill it up with Abyss gas.
I shoot the blast at them and cut through all of their necks, leaving the head alive. I don't wanna have to fight these things over and over again because that'll just get annoying. But, I'm thankful for the snack!
I leave the heads as they'll eventually sink and take the bodies with me. That probably had to hurt. I remember the jaeger pilots having some sort of connection to their jaegers, so they probably felt like they were decapitated. Well, it's not my problem if they drown. It's their fault for being dumb.
I erase my signature, tie the jaegers together with silk, and start flying towards China, as I can sense that there's a much smaller population of humans inland. I fly over several cities and land in a mountain range somewhere in Kazakhstan. I sense no humans anywhere around me for miles, so I take a bite of the first jaeger. They taste a bit sweet as I rip off some of the armor with my beak.
Monch
Monch
Monch
So I finished all the jaegers. The pink one tasted sweet, the blue one tasted citrusy, and the brown one tasted like steak.
