As I walked on the path tinted a soft shade of red, a resolute determination surged within me. The route itself was a bridge-like structure adorned with intricate details, offering a golden opportunity for me to gain strength quickly. I urgently needed to grow more powerful, and the challenge ahead promised significant progress.
As the red hue gradually gave way, I entered a vast room, its walls masterfully carved from stone and painted in a pure white shade that exuded a mesmerising crystalline gleam. At first glance, the room appeared otherworldly, akin to a majestic building made entirely of white marble.
There was no visible exit, and upon my entry, the entrance behind me vanished, replaced by the same pristine-white wall as if the opening had been sealed shut.
"I am locked in," I uttered, focusing on my surroundings and clearing my mind, allowing myself to tap into a state of Zen.
"I feel considerably more powerful than before," I remarked, tugging on the ambient light in the atmosphere. I increased the flow of energy within my body at much faster speeds compared to my previous attempt. The process felt remarkably smooth this time, devoid of the sudden burning sensation I experienced before. Within about three minutes, I reached my limit, and the slight burning sensation returned. This indicated that I had become twice as powerful as I was before.
My body felt lighter, and since last week, I hadn’t run out of energy even once. It was as if numerous unnecessary elements had been purged from my body.
The realisation struck me like a lightning bolt. Mrizem! The entity that had possessed my body and fought on par with Cyanthos, the leader of Voidshades, Mrizem possessed complete mastery over influencing sol, and as a result, the impurities in my body had been expelled to accommodate his presence.
"I’ve grown stronger because of him," I understood, observing the stone beneath me crack under the sheer force of my newfound power. Yet a sense of guilt washed over me, acknowledging that I hadn’t done anything to attain this strength; it was the result of another person’s actions. This truth applied to my spatial powers as well.
Suddenly, the atmosphere around me underwent a bizarre transformation. Everything appeared distorted, and the white marble-like stone floor beneath my feet seemed to morph, resembling a soft carpet instead of solid stone.
To my surprise, golem-like entities emerged from the fluid-like floor. These beings were crafted from the same white stone and had a striking, glistening appearance, as if the very room had given birth to these monstrous creatures.
With a deep rumble, the towering golems, each twice my size, moved menacingly towards me, exuding an unmistakable aura of hostility. A total of five of these formidable beings closed in on me.
Swiftly, I leaped into the air, and the world around me seemed to slow down. Employing a powerful kick, I shattered one of the golems upon landing, its stony body unable to withstand the force of my attack. However, another golem attempted to ambush me from behind, but I nimbly executed a back flip, evading its punch and launching a flurry of blows that reduced it to pieces.

"I need to draw it out," I muttered to myself, readying my newly forged weapon.
Yesterday, Radomir II handed me my reforged chain scythe, now imbued with the essence of Cyanthos. I had christened it "Glacireave."
The Avlyrran chains had been delicately enchanted, causing their original white colour to gleam with a luminous glow when exposed to light. Furthermore, the chains felt remarkably lighter in my grasp. To preserve their Avlyrran steel properties, I refrained from complete reforging and instead opted for enchantment.
However, the true marvel lay at the scythe’s end. It was a brand new blade, forged directly from Cyanthos’s essence. Transparent like a diamond with a faint blue hue, the scythe’s ethereal appearance captivated all who beheld it.
Remarkably light, much like the chains, the opposite end containing the heavy weight was reforged from crystal, introducing impurities to balance the overall weight of the weapon, now known as "Glacireave."
As the remaining three golems charged at me from different directions, I readied myself to unleash the true potential of the essence. Channelling my sol into my hands, the energy flowed through the chains and into the scythe.
"I can assimilate this weapon as if it’s an extension of my body by allowing my soul to flow through it. That’s when the essence reveals its true nature," I murmured to myself, witnessing the weapon’s power. As my sol connected with the scythe, it emitted a cold aura, enveloped by a light blue fog.
With a firm grip on the chains, I swirled the weapon in a circular motion, creating a typhoon-like effect that enveloped me and covered my surroundings. The blade of the scythe became a swirling vortex of power.
As the golems reached me, the sharp edge of "Glacireave" cut through their rocky bodies, leaving deep gashes that triggered an aura of frost, quickly freezing their forms. The white golems were encased in ice and instantly shattered into countless pieces.
"Once the ‘Glacireave’ cuts through anything, it will freeze it, spreading the frosty aura like a virus," I proclaimed, impressed by the weapon’s might.
However, before I could fully rejoice in my triumph, something unexpected occurred. The room expanded, and the walls around me morphed. Within moments, the room doubled in size, and more golems emerged—this time ten of them, twice the previous number.
"There’s no choice but to confront them," I said, steeling myself for the battle ahead.
**
"Why do they never end?" I cried out, bracing myself for the onslaught of the fifth wave of golems. The room had ceased to be a room; instead, it resembled an enclosed battlefield. Now, a staggering number of 80 golems surrounded me, closing in from all directions.
For the past two hours, I have been locked in constant combat with them, struggling to maintain my Zen state. With each passing moment, my ability to focus waned, and it was only a matter of seconds before my Zen state would falter, leaving me defenceless against the golems’ relentless assault.
The area was shrouded in a blue fog, an aftermath of the frost emanating from the glacier. Sweat poured from every pore of my body, and my movements grew sluggish. In a desperate bid to escape, I leaped into the air, managing to evade the golems momentarily. Landing behind them, I sprinted while frantically searching for any sign of an exit.
Yet, despite my efforts, the golems quickly caught up, and my Zen state abandoned me as they closed in on me.
"No!" I screamed, attempting to flee, but my speed barely surpassed that of a normal human, leaving me helpless.
In the midst of my panicked search for a solution that didn’t rely on Zen, a realisation struck me like lightning.
"My blessing! It hasn’t awakened yet!" I exclaimed, with the golems now just a few metres away.
Baek had once told me that blessings would reveal themselves in the most crucial of moments.
As the name of my blessing resurfaced in my memory, a voice resounded deep within my heart.
[The Blessing of Seersight has been awakened.]
