Family always supports each other, and my family was no different. Each second I spend with them made me feel happy . I felt the warmth of family, love.
Our butler had packed a suitcase of necessary items. Marina and two other guards followed us.
We decided to walk on the streets instead of going into the carriage. Carriage would have drawn unnecessary attention to us.
"Andrea. Do you want me to carry you?" Father asked with a concerned voice.
"No, no I will carry Andrea." Andrew stretched out his arm to carry me.
Mother laughed, " Ahh, seeing a seven-year-old offering to carry his three-year-old sister is so lovely."
I stood speechless, seeing how my brother acted.
"Father, it is okay I can walk, you don't have to carry me. I am a strong girl" I said proudly looking at father, who wished to carry his daughter.
Father pov- Aaaa my wife and children are sooo cute.
I want to carry my daughter, she looks so cute and soft.
Andrea carrying herself as a noble lady is just so adorable.
Ahh, it's good to be a girl's father, my boys were always naughty and running here and there.
Andrew and John are growing up soon. It is good that we are having such a memorable picnic.
Once we were out of the manor gates. We saw flocks of people rushing on the street here to there.
The street lights were lighted with magic.
While Andrew and I walked ahead, Brother John, mother and father followed us.
Stolen story; please report.
Marina was with me, while the guards did not follow closely.
We looked just like a common family with good-looking children and parents.
There were different street food stalls and toy stalls that drew attention with their lighting.
People called in customers by shouting out what they had to offer.
Little children of my age were running around holding candy sticks and toys.
I also wished to play and eat from street stalls.
I held Andrew's hand and ran towards a stall that was selling chicken kebab and roasted meat.
It smelled delicious. Marina who ran behind Andrew and me to not miss us, soon caught up with us.
Mother and Father, along with brother John were in our sight, but far behind.
They knew that Marina would protect us.
"Marina , Marina I want that chicken which is roasted on the stick." I asked Marina to buy me that by pointing it out.
Andrew also asked Marina to buy it for him.
Marina smiled, "Yes, my lady and Young Master."
She has the shopkeeper 4 copper coins and bought a pair of chicken skewers.
"Taking a bite, tens of flavours exploded in my mouth. It was something a noble house did not serve. The chicken was flavourful and spicy, but it was too spicy for me and Andrew.
"WATEL WATEL WATEL , MALINA , ITSH TOO SPICY." I cried out for water.
"Oh my god, wait a minute Young Lady" Marina opened the backpack, and have me bottle of water. Andrew was waiting for his turn.
Mother ,Father and Brother Johnathan had reached us by that time.
Father laughed, "Haahaa are my children spice intolerant?"
Mother frowned, " Dear, they are still kids, these street foods will be too spicy for their delicate taste buds."
"Ohoo ,yes, yes. I am wrong. Pftt" My father was still laughing.
Johnathan went to the stall keeper and ordered another pair of skewers, but he whispered to the stall keeper something before taking it.
"Here Father, I bought you one too." Brother John offered it to Father.
"Oh my elder son is so responsible. Give me." Taking a bite, I saw Father tearing up. His eyes were turning red.
As I was wondering what happened, Brother Johnathan spoke, "Father. As I thought you love spicy, I told him to add extra black peppers on your skewer. Are you enjoying it?"
Mother burst out laughing, "Haahaa, my John is standing up for his younger siblings. Haahaa, Child your father must have never even imagined he would get betrayed by you.
Haahaa ohh God I am tearing up."
Father was tearing up because of the spice while Mother was tearing up in laughter.
We all laughed out seeing father drinking a bottle of water, within seconds.
After that we walked again. This time I was holding mother and brother John's hand.
I felt secured holding them.
Many unknown people scared me.
Marina who was walking beside Mother spoke, " Young Madame, I have known an orphanage nearby. People visit there on festival, and play with the kids. Do you also want to visit the orphanage?"
