Alicia just bumped into an unusual and eccentric girl. Her hair was short and black while her eyes where silver. She was slightly shorter than alicia.
The girl turned around and immediately screamed with excitement.
"SO YOU HAVE ONE TOO?!!?!?!" While pointing at Ponn. She immediately pushed her face toward the poor cat and started to play with his face but he immediately backed away. The girl immediately switched her direction towards Alicia and asked her:
"Are you magical girl too??"
"It's weird to ask people things like that you know?" Alicia replied as she was pushing this weird girl's face away. "Anyway who are you"
"I am a magical girl just like you. My name is Yukko Quann and soon I am going to be a high schooler too. My power is mostly related to earth and terraforming. I also have strong and tough body. So nice to meet you!" The girl said as she was pulling out her hand.
"Name is Alicia. I can control plants to some extent and have good healing powers." Alicia said as she shook her hand.
Behind Yukko appeared a white dog with purple spots. Just like Ponn it introduced itself.
"Oh. Its you" The cat said disappointedly
The moment he heard that Ponn noticed who it was.
"Genn. You purple spotted son of a.."
"Enough about my mother. Why are YOU here!"
"Same reason you are. The world need someone who can actually help these girls."
"I know. That is why I was sent to Earth after your failures"
The spirits continued to insult each other while fighting. Alicia was a bit concerned about that but Yukko was laughing hard.
" I hate you purple guts"
"I kissed your sister"
"That was my brother"
"...."
Both of them got silent. This made Yukko laugh even harder. They both pretended the fight never happened and went back to the important matter.
"You two will be colleagues so you two should not fight. It is very important to have a group of people you can rely on, especially if you fight for the sake of the world." Ponn said trying to look important.
"Yeah he is right. You two should hang around and get to know each other." Genn added.
"It would be so cool! Wanna go in a caffè with me?!? I can finally share all the sweets I wanted to try out with a new friend!"
"I am not sure we should rush-" Alicia was saying but she was interrupted by Yukko
"Please please please please!" She kept on saying until Alicia agreed. And so they went in a nearby place that is knows for good selection of sweets and decent drinks. Yukko ordered a large ice cream and cola while Alicia just ordered mint tea. The tea was pleasant and the aftertaste of mint kept her cool while the hot tea kept her warm. It was Alicia's favorite tea by far. As they were enjoying their sweet time they were chatting and getting to know each other more. Yukko comes from a family of lawyers. Both her mother and father are quite busy so she grew very close to her older brother who is ,according to her, super cool. Most parts of her story seemed exaggerated but she seemed like a nice girl and not someone who lied for the sake of benefits. She is also going to be in the same school as Alicia so she may as well have a new friend to walk along to school.

After departing with Yukko , Alicia was heading back to home as she met her childhood friend, a beautiful and tall young boy with blond hair by the name of Silvis Plaustra. He moved when they were both five years old and since they were neighbors they spent a lot of time as kids. Eventually Alicia realized she developed a huge crush on him but never had the courage to ever convey her feelings to him. What if he did not feel the same way? They could never go back to normal after confession so she always tried to suppress those feelings, at least until she musters up the courage to what her hearth seeks from her.
"Oh hi Alicia" Silvis said. He seemed genuinely happy to see her.
"Umm.. hi... Silvis" Alicia replied a bit nervous. "How is your older sister doing?"
"She is doing great. We are soon going in high school so we are more likely to see her." Silvis replied
"Yeah. We are in high school in a few days. It feels weird to grow up so quickly." Alicia said. And it did feel to her as if life is really fleeting despite being young. The world keeps changing and sometimes you feel like you are out of the flow, just silently observing as the whole world is constantly changing in front of your very own eyes, terrified and afraid to try to join back in because of insecurity and difficulty in adaptation. Can someone really keep up with modern standards? Is there a way for someone to live the life for themselves and take a rest or are they forced to be a cog in a massive machine that just keeps on speeding up until it eventually breaks under its own pressure and gets completely shattered just to start over again? Or is perhaps life more simple? Is the actual goal just to try to enjoy it as much since your time is limited to merely a century at best, and far less if your luck is out. Some would also say that such things are not important and that you are just trying to fill in the story with some cheap philosophy while extending the length of chapters just as you promised without actually touching the real subjects such as breaking the vagueness of thing and instead filling characters with colors, emotions and details while progressing story at an actual decent pace. Maybe just chugging down a can of energy drink and forcing your way through the things you have to take time and effort in is not a way to develop a brand or story, especially the one you actually have feeling for and try to convey to others.
"Hope we get to be in the same class this time" Silvis said while smiling. When Alicia heard that she started to blush a lot and tried to hide her embarrassment from the boy she likes.
"I guess it would be nice" She said quietly before the phone interrupted them. Silvis picked his phone up and went on a short call. After hanging up he parted ways with Alicia and went his own way.
"Sorry I can't stay longer to chat but my friends are waiting. See you at school Alicia" Silvis said as he was going away and waving his hand. Alicia raised her hand and waved slightly while still hiding her face. Upon coming to her home, she rushed to her room, jumped on her bed, buried her face in a pillow and started screaming while rolling around to the point she actually fell of her bed.
"What's up with you?" Ponn asked "Having such a reaction from a regular interaction"
Alicia looked up from her pillow ,her face completely red, and started mumbling a bunch of nonsense. Ponn gave up trying to reason with her and just left her for tonight. She still has a lot of things. Especially once high school starts. She is going to have to fight a bunch of monsters as well as people who will try to injure her and people she cares about. Some of them may even be people she trusted and loved, the ones she exposed her back to, waiting for the time to stab and finish her in a single strike.
Ponn started poking Alicia with hand and once she turned her head up she saw him wearing glasses with fake mustache.
"Hi. I am mister Ponn. Did you see my son? He looks just like me but less handsome" Ponn said with a slightly deeper voice. When Alicia saw that she started giggling and her mood was much better. It was his mission as a guardian spirit to cover all her needs to the best of his abilities and make sure she can live a happy life. Playing a fool once or twice won't hurt too much if it is for the sake of one he will spend next few years with.
