Even hordes of hungry man-eating zombies paled in comparison to the crazy sight before them. Anyone not busy running for their lives or in the progress of being eaten stared stupidly at the raging ring of inferno. Were it not for the magical nature of the fire which somehow did not heat up the air, the city would have become the very picture of hell on earth. However, nobody was foolish enough to believe that the fire would not turned you into ash the moment someone touched it.

The culprit for this massive overkill was knocked out of the sky by a flash of light so hard that it broke the barrier around the church. Fortunately, it had already been sealed off thanks to our little Nami's《Merry Little Sharks Barrier》.

All she got for a answer was a glare so chilly that it actually cooled down her everlasting passion for arson.

Meanwhile, inside Oars area, one unlucky adventure just woke up from all the commotion only to witness the sence of a little girl about to be devoured by her mother.

With reflex worthy of an A rank adventurer, he immediately behead the offending zombie, grabbed the child and bolt out of the small inn, which open up a whole new pot of chaos and death. The dead and the living mingled together in a confusing mass of tearing flesh and spilling blood.

The man stared at the sence for a long 0.1 second and decided shit just hit the fan and he had to get out of there as soon as possible. As any respectable adventurer, he picked up the little girl and booked it.

Unfortunately for him, he was soon surrounded by hungry zombies and the few begging to be saved humans (no other race was present here).

Each individual was no match for the experienced adventurer. However, we had to remember that this was a fortress city full of high level adventurers and experienced guards. Any combatant on the street can be considered super human on Earth. Such people retained their power even as moving corpses. Some zombies even instinctively flung spell at any living thing.

As Jack with the little girl in his arm struggle to the gate, utterly exhausted, a sudden tremor almost knocked him off balance. Earthen pillars sprung out from the ground and the barrier trapped him in with the zombie horde.

Before a curse even managed to escape his mouth from the absurd situation, sharp stone spikes pierced through hungry living deads accurately, completely avoided hurting humans.

"Yo, you ok?" The big boy asked the utterly confused adventurer only to recieve a blank stare in return.

Flora held Sandra hand, sharing her consciousness. The world explode in a different color to Sandra. She felt a raging mass of red and black attacking the church's water barrier from outside (only to be shredded to pieces by hungry sharks, occasionly a massive Megalodon popped out and devoured a large swath of zombies) and a smaller mass of red which is quickly spreading from some people inside the church.

She tried to use her power on the mass, choosing a non-living one just to be safe. However, no matter how hard she tried to control, the power just wouldn't listen as if something missing had upset the balance, throwing her off. She tried anyway, but the target just disintegrated along with its host.

At this time, Shen returned with a bunch of survivors, Hilda of Loki was among them. Sandra quickly noticed the red color of the virus within her.

"You came back at just the right time father, I need your help. My power is not enough to cover the whole city." Flora said. Although she was a demi-god, she was afterall a 5 years old child.

"Coming." Despite not understanding the situation, Shen still grapsed his daughter outstrectched hand. He released the power he had suppressed for 3 years on Earth.

Primodial essence of the universe, much different from mana, flooded the whole continent, and soon spread to the rest of the world.

A screen appeared infront of Shen, but he ignored it and channel his power to Flora.

The vibrant world in Sandra vision widen to a bird eyes view of the whole planet. Masses of red mixed with black void of death, which Flora domain did not have authority over, quickly expanding through out the continent. Pigge was not the only city that was hit by the virus.

With a thought, she erased every zombies, leaving the infected alone for now.

Having temporarily stopped further casualities, everyone now had time to breath, however, every second was precious. The infected was still dying by the minute.

Tilea hold the growing weaker Hilda in her arms, sobbing silently. Trean stood to the side, praying quietly to the Gods infront of him.

"I can't do this. No matter how hard I concentrated, my power would not listen. It keep screaming something is missing." Sandra said.

"I think I know what that is." Shen answered in a determined voice.

He touched his sister shoulder, at the same time releasing the hold on the power he took from her all those years ago when they first came to this world. He did it in order to stop her from immediately destroying eveything. Now that she had learnt to reined in the wild beast, he no longer had a reason not to return it to its rightful owner.

He felt almost everything that made who he was today left him. The shock was so great that he almost lost his life.

With the help of Flora, Sandra was able to identify and locate every zombie virus on the planet. Shen used his newfound power to protect every still living creature it had infected.

With Sandra as the center, a gentle wave of rippling energy spread out to every corner of Rito, erasing the offending virus along with its source which is a rotting bat in a random cave.

The danger was not over, the living was still greatly damaged by the virus. Flora, still using her father as a battery, apply healing power to the whole world.

Her poor father almost exhausted to death again if not for his God status, and the mana providing a part of the energy.

That day, a miracle happened, every diseases, every wounds disappeared. For a brief moment, the world overcame death.
